Asked for 2 PLAIN cheese burgers received 2 burgers with no cheese? Not the hardest order in the world still managed to mess it up, don’t waste your time

Always delicious food ~ tonight was just a small order of vegetable, chicken and fish pakora. All were really good and so fresh, in particular the fish pakora were amazing. Thank you once again for great food Jewels x

Just had a takeout of the gourmet meal, delivery wait time was a bit long but made up for it by the food, it was delicious and fed a family of 5 adults. Thank u guys we will defo be bk x

The person on the other of the call didn’t allow to finish my sentence in adding salt to the chips. The delivery driver was unpleasant and the food is cold and tasteless.

Lost for "words" After you tell them less sauce, they go and drown the Kebab in sauce... Then when you order one thing and you get something totally diff it shows the staffs incompetent. NEVER MAKE A PHONE ORDER AND ALWAYS CHECK YOOUR ORDER IN THIS ESTABLISHMWNT. after me telling them many times. I had to make a review on this.

I just came back home to see rotten chicken inside.

Food never arrived. Phoned at 10pm, it's now 1am and nothing arrived.

I use jewels all the time never had a problem when I pick up tonight a phoned a delivery and was usual guy on phone waited 1 hour and phoned back he said 10 mins waited a further 10mins and phoned again and told a further 15 mins knew they had made a mistake with all chatter in background obviously put it as a pick up instead a delivery can’t they just be honest will never use here again I would travel first shocking

Being new to Barrhead, I have only recently discovered this takeaway, after being repeatedly disappointed by my large, local takeaway in the Craighead area. The Jewel of Asia has never disappointed on any aspect of their service. The food os always rich, succulent, tasty and fresh. I know when this type of food is fresh, having worked as an assistant in a number of takeaways over the years. The staff are always polite and helpful despite working long hours which would put most of us of local heritage, to shame. With all this taken into account, they can not be beaten on price and generous portion sizes. There are even some meal deals and combos which would be hard to beat if you could cook them yourself. I hope this takeaway sticks to it's core values and continues to deliver great service to Barrhead and the surrounding area.

Ordered food told will be on its way but after an hour driver still out so would be another 30 minutes waited a further 30 n called to be told wait another 15

got chicken tika meal with the garlic chilli sauce must admit its one of the best chicken tikas ave had chicken was great as was rice n that sauce was magic the Mrs had a doner kebab n chips says that was delicious to great fast service to food was piping hot wen delivered

Top Indian take away for Barrhead - great Pakora especially and not had a bad meal here

I ordered a set meal with rice, nan bread and curry and got a delivery, I waited over an hour even though I live near by. The food was bland and had no taste. I would not recommend!!

Food is always good. Sometimes delivery can be over an hour but it is to be expected as its probably one of the best places in Barrhead

Nice food , desi chick pea curry was great, Aloo gobi undercooked , tikka madras was liked by all, chicken tikka was average , bit a great fan of colouring … pakora nice

Utter rubbish. 1hr15 mins for delivery(which i can accept on a saturday night), food missing and the rest was stone cold. When I called the staff member had the gaul to suggest it was my fault that the food was cold, or at the very least or wasn't their fault, and that the order was wrong!(I have the email order, which he didn't seem to understand) All of that being said, I could have forgiven the poor quality food, but what I can't forgive is the terrible attitude and rock bottom customer service that I received. Avoid this place at all costs. There is several better quality places in the nearby area.

I got samosas, fried rice, lamb madras and a nan bread from here last week. The samosas were huge but made out of flaky pastry. There was hardly any filling. The lamb was inedible. I think it was the lambs granny. The rice, sauce and nan were ok.

Absolutely hummin chicken wasn’t cooked at all chips where rock hard guy was cheeky on the phone no respect for the customers what so ever giving it 1 star is generous enough disgusted with what was delivered give the bit of chicken 2 pain killers and it’d be up n running again wont be back

Both myself and my wife had a meal from here last night. It has made both of us ill. Feeling extremely sick and awake all night. We didn't finish the meal. I would not recommend this takeaway to anyone. Absolute disgrace.

Waited 1hr45mins for the wrong order to just be given cheek and no replacement food or refund and then swore at and told to go elsewhere. Wont ever be ordering again

The food is good but me and my friend asked for chips and cheese and the man hung and up and said it was closed when it wasn’t closed so we had to get our parents to phone to order the cheese and chips.

This is a very good place to get food in barrhead i have never had a bad experience before the food is always to a high standard when i get a home delivery is is always delivered quick and fast and toasting hot.

Bad attitude. Chicken tikka poor quality and expected Begun Behar to be a lamb dish. Called to complain when I got it home got bad attitude. Asked for a Lamb Nentara and it was really poor also very salty. Very disappointing

Took an hour and a half, pizza was cold and soggy, chips were overcooked, chicken nuggets tasted bad, hoagie was meh, overall just a waste of money.

Just ordered some food for this place and it went straight in the bin!! Ordered a kebab with chips and salad and a Nan bread. Absolutely no chilli sauce, and 4pieces of meat in the kebab and it they were dried out! It was literally a box of chips (and not even decent chips) with 4 shavings of donner meat! Poor standards, we used this a few months ago and it was rank then too, decided to give it another go but wish I hadn't bothered!

This place is disgusting, the kitchen is disgusting and the men behind the counter never wash there hands and sneeze into there hands. Anytime you order food to collect they don't cook it, they wait till you get there no matter how long you take. which makes you have to wait when in a hurry! "supposed to be fast food" , wouldnt recommend a pizza either because they put the smallest amount of sauce on it & it taste like your eating plain bread . joke of a shop with DRY PIZZA's

Got chicken tikka main meal with raw chicken, called them and they told me I could get a discount NEXT time I order and that there has been quiet a few complaints about the chicken but no interested in giving a refund. Only offered a replacement meal after being told the conversation was being recorded due to their lack of interest. Shocked a regular customer being treated like this and there won't be a NEXT order
