The Italian Affair in Fenland

This is the first time I had been here and I was not disappointed. The food was lovely, service was excellent. Portions were large and the food was served piping hot. It had lovely atmosphere was very clean and well appointed. I would highly recommend

We were in Wisbech on Saturday afternoon and found this restaurant and decided we would give it a try. At first we were rhe only customers in, swiftly followed by a large party. Sadly after our order was taken for a main the service became very much a case of having to chase things up. The main was a pasta dish for me and pizza for my friend. My friend found the pizza to be really nice. My pasta dish also was delicious. We subsequently decided to try tiramasu although the wait already for the main wasnt so bad the wait for desert was over half an hour. Tiramasu was sadly bearing no resemblence to a Tiramusu and was more a chocolate cheesecake. The service wasn't very attentive and it was obvious staff were in two uniforms and split between another of the owners business nearby. Sadly a disappointment overall.

This charming little place just off the Market Place is a hidden gem. It is nicely presented as you approach and the staff are very welcoming. They have lots of seating but it’s advisable to book. It has a fully stocked bar with a good range of beers. We tried both the pizza and pasta dishes and they are very authentic in taste and texture as we have dined in many restaurants around Italy. So if you fancy a little taste of Italy please do give this highly rated gem a try. You will not be disappointed.

Really love this place. Nicest pizzas in the whole of Wisbech. Fresh homemade dough. Not the awful pre-made rubbish all of the other places in town use. Tasty, yet simple pastas.

We went to the Italian Affair last night for my fiancés birthday, we rang up last week to book as there were 18 of us, and that wasn’t a problem at all, we did just have to pre order what we were going to have of course. When arriving last night, it was so nice to see they had set up the table with balloons and banners which was very thoughtful! The food was really nice, I had lasagne for a main and it was honestly one of the best I have had! Everyone’s food looked good, it all came out at the same time, the service was fast and very friendly. We will definitely be returning and spreading the word. Thank you, we all had a lovely evening :)

Fantastic well presented food. Attentive, efficient waitress (Lily). Great relaxing atmosphere on entering the restaurant. Will definitely be back.

We had a family meal here and we were all very pleased with the quality and quantity of the food, it really was excellent and really good value

Not as busy as I had expected for a Friday evening, but we were a bit early - 7.00pm. The menu was broad enough for me, though I didn't spot the back page, until I had ordered! 4 of us ordered mainly different dishes and we all agreed that they were excellent. We'll go again.

Visited here this week and had a really lovely 3 course meal with friends. Bridey and Charley provided excellent service. It was difficult to talk with the guitarist very close to us but otherwise a great experience.

My partner and i went in on a Monday night. It was very quiet because of the night of the week. The inside is done out really nicely, comfortable and warm. The staff are attentive and the food was lovely. We will definately be back. A little gem.

Not long open and nicely laid out. Staff are friendly and helpful. The meals we had were very pleasant. Includes vegetarian choices - not sure about Vegan range. Room for about 30 diners on the first floor and nearly the same on the ground floor. Quite a convenient central location for St Peter's and Somers Road car parks.

Great food, beautiful dinner with a family. All food was freshly made. Live music acoustic guitar was a nice touch for the evening aswell. Will definitely come back 💯
