Oh my, we just got a meal deal 1. My taste buds are on fire. Absolutely delicious, the rice was the nicest rice I've ever tasted, really light, infused with herbs ( I think), the side orders and main and the chips, naan , lettuce, sauces and poppadoms, all perfect. Will definitely be back . Worth every penny. We collected and the service from start then finish was fabulous.

Dined in the restaurant and the food was absolutely amazing. I had the Jinga Chicken Tikka with Keema rice - 5⭐️ My partner had the Chicken Bhuna and naan. Cost less than £40 for the two of us and great friendly service. Thank you Indian Terrace.

Hard to find a decent Indian restaurant but have to say the butter chicken and Naan bread was top notch. Don't change that recipe please! Will be back again.

Absolutely beautiful food, lovely staff & amazing unbeatable prices. They do two deals- one for £20 and obviously if there’s more people eating you can get a £30 one for takeaway! Absolutely delicious 🤤 I’ll be back 100 times over!

Ordered for a delivery. The order arrived over an hour after the specified time. The food was actually good but you can't be in the business of takeaway food for delivery and let customers wait for nearly two hours. I also called to check our order and was told 5 mins and it was 40 mins from the call.

Great wee spot. Food was lovely. We sat in and the service was brilliant. Very friendly and accommodating staff. I have been back since for take out and equally as delicious. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Ordered food from here to be picked up at a set time( over an hour from now ) was there on time and kept waiting for 45 minutes, when finally home I found the rice was burnt to the bottom of the foil case and the order wasn't correct. All in all I'd have been quicker actually going to India to get a curry and even with the language barrier I've had a better chance of getting the correct order.

Can’t praise the food highly enough: it’s great quality and there’s a good range of dishes to pick from. Best Indian food I’ve had in a long time. Staff are friendly and welcoming. I’ve only ordered takeaway food so can’t comment on the restaurant experience. Will definitely be back.

If there was a competition for the worst kebab in the country, their chicken pakora on chips would surely be in contention.

My family and I recently moved back from London where we were spoilt for choice of amazing Indian restaurants. Ordered from here on a whim one night and were absolutely wowed by this place, it’s up there with amazing curry houses across the water. We have been regulars ever since and the Indian Terrace is now our favourite takeaway in the area. The food is incredible and always really fresh, we have tried a variety of dishes over time and none have disappointed. The menu has great variety with lots of really authentic options. When we have had friends over for a takeaway there has always been something for everyone and people are always very impressed by this place. The staff have always been very friendly too. Hidden gem and potentially the best Indian in NI!

Of the various visits to these premises I have made to collect take away food. The observation of a low ambience has enveloped me. The interior layout of this eating /dining hostelry is somewhat devoid of that elusive thing called atmosphere. While either sitting on the small bench seating located at the door to the street or standing looking out the window or viewing the inside layout of the place. It has been rare to see people actually dining in. It can be surmised the majority aspect of the trade of this food out let is of the "Carry Out" aspect. Should a couple or indeed party of four or more who are in house dinning alas they have a come and depart audience of pick up a carry out let them either be standing or sitting in close proximity to those eating in. In short not a suitable place to dine in house regarding a by and large over the course of the week a majority carry out trade. Good food of that no question, it is rather the out of date /style of Indian restaurant concept-------times have moved on. A FIVE DOT's VENUE REGARDING THE NOSH

Fantastic food and service.. beautiful surroundings, a must for lovers of authentic Indian cuisine. A perfect dining experience cannot wait for our next visit.

Shockingly bad delivery service Waiting over 2 hours for food Apparently they are busy and made a mistake in order I would overlook but this isn’t the first time delivery didn’t materialise! Bowl cornflakes for me

Wow …what a beautiful experience we had last night in the restaurant . We were in the Ballynahinch area and wondering where we could eat. From the very start we were made extremely welcome . Nothing was any bother … they were polite and very helpful in explaining any dish without being intrusive at any time. One of our group of 5 was a vegetarian and nothing was any bother to them . In fact I would say it was the best service we have experienced for a long time. When the food came it was absolutely delicious . An added bonus is the free BYO service . We will definitely be back and would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Have had several carry out meals from The Indian Terrace and the food is always delicious. Easy to order using the app and order ready for collection on time.

I had a very good lamb curry. No one ever came to check what I thought to the end and after I finished what was a tasty dish. A friendly Indian lady pointed me to toilet which was very satisfactory. I enjoyed the meal very much. A friendly male took away my empty plate. And brought me a hot hand towel. Will be back again as I liked what attention i got .And the meal.

August 2023... Ordered over the phone, asked if I could collect at 6:20. (30 minute wait). Order was ready on time and complete. Food tasty as alway. Seems better managed at the moment. Thanks January 2023... I tried to get through on the phone for around ten minutes but kept getting 'mailbox full'. Decided to order on the app (18:43) which was easy. I got an email to say it was delayed by 20 minutes and the pickup time was (19:22). I arrived on time, gave my name and was asked to wait inside the entrance... All good so far. I waited for a long time... one guy cancelled and was heading up to Tikka Town, another went home and was getting it delivered. Eventually at (20:12) 50 minutes after the supposed pickup time the order was ready. The guy did apologies for the delay but the girls who I don't think it was their fault started blaming the app. If the app is the problem, it needs sorted to give a more accurate pickup time, if that can't be done the app needs to go and the girls need to answer the phone. I don't buy the excuse about the app but regardless, it would have been nice to know there was a major delay when I arrived. The blond haired girl did say at one point during the wait that it happened last Saturday night as well. I had dropped my daughter off at Subway on the way into town to get food. That was no big deal as it was cold food but she also picked up hot food at Tikka Town that was ready for collection at (19:25). That food was completely cold by the time I got my food from here. About the food. The saying 'worth the wait' comes to mnd but I don't particularly like that saying tonight. The food was good. I will visit again and give a second chance but customer service better be better or I'll not be back. I don't mind waiting for good food... As long as I know how long I am having to wait on it beforehand. As a little word of encouragement, if you get it sorted I will update this review.

Ordered a take away chicken Tikka Chilli Masala, pilau rice and garlic Naan bread. Really good food, smelled amazing tasted amazing too. Guy who served me was very passionate about what they do and friendly. Would have enjoyed more Chilli in mine but I will know to just ask for extra Chilli as it's hard to please everyone. Will be back, maybe for vindaloo or Naga next! Would be great if they could do card payments too! As cash machines are very unreliable these days and very little of them.

Been here twice now (takeaway two weekends in a row) I tried the vindaloo the first and then the patia the next time both times I was not disappointed really fresh tasty food… I’m planning on trying everything on the menu. Easy to order online through the app or on their Facebook link, the only downside is on both occasions the order was not ready in the the time specified for collection on the app and I ended up waiting in the shop for a further 10 minutes until it was ready, a small price to pay though for great food.

Ordered a delivery at 20.50 was told half hour delay as usual by email didn't arrive to 22.05 past closing time no can of juice or nan bread with order. Whats the point of 20% off if you don't get all your order iv had 3 deliveries and only 1 has came correct

Me and my partner order here at least once every two weeks. The food is great value for money. Ballynahinch rarely keeps an Indian Food takeaway for too long and we order from here because we really want it to stay open as it deserves it. If you haven’t tried Indian food before or you’re someone who loves it already - I would highly recommend The Indian Terrace

Had a fantastic meal here last night! The food was soooo delicious and the service was outstanding. Sandju took great care of us and recommended such tasty dishes. High quality, authentic Indian cuisine in our wee town…you will LOVE it!

We randomly called in on our way home to Belfast from Newcastle, and what a find it was! The poppadoms were crisp, and the dips that came with it were delicious. We then got tandoori prawns what a taste bud sensation best prawns I think we've ever had. Onto the main the portion sizes were massive so take this into account when ordering the chicken was so tender and there was plenty of it the garlic naan came smothered in garlic butter just the way I like it 👌 to top it all off the service was amazing there was a lovely gentleman on the counter couldn't do enough for us! if your calling past give this place a go you won't be disappointed 🤤

Had valentines dinner not our first visit as usual food full of flavour and plenty of it had a good supper out of left overs staff very attentive and wife was thrilled with the rose at the end see you soon

Strange that my previous review was deleted so I'll try again Ordered the £19:95 deal for delivery Got prawns for starter and while very tasty an extra £2:50 on top of price is very extreme for x3 prawns with onions There was also a 10 pence bag levy which I found strange also a charge of £3'50 delivery for a quarter mile... lots of chicken in main and very good quality Popadoms lovely as was naan bread other plus was you could pay on line to order Yes I'll order again but only for collection....

Delicious, good value Indian food. The Indian tapas starter was exquisite, the main-course chicken and lamb were tender and tasty, with a nice balance of spices and flavours, without being greasy or too salty. Our 12-year-old has never eaten so much Indian food! Service was friendly and efficient, and it was easy to park. Great to have such a good Indian restaurant in such a convenient location.

Just had our first indian from here and it was really nice ... four adults ate no complants and empty plates!! They did forget the drinks and 1 of the starters, but after phoning they came straight back out and delivered.

Fantastic! We sat in and took advantage of the BYO. Were served up poppadoms after arriving - the dips were all really tasty. We had the indian tapas starter to share which was a delicious selection. Each had different mains. Both had a real depth of flavour and the quality of the meat and veg was good. The man who served us was polite and attentive and even shared a wee laugh here and there. All round, really lovely and we will definitely be back quite frequently

Greeted as the first customers on opening night and we were incredibly impressed. The food was sensational. It’s rare to find Indian food of this calibre and quality outside Belfast. Could not recommend highly enough. The service is matched equally to the food. We will be back many times no doubt. A welcome addition to Ballynahinch.
