Brilliant staff, food and fast great tasting food as always.

1st time ordering from here and easily the worst chippy I’ve ever had. Paid £30 got 3 wee sausages and a small portion of dry chips. Also ordered lasagne which was solid and clearly microwaved to within an inch of its life. Portion size and quality very poor when compared to other chippys. Won’t be ordering again.

Minging food and staff have attitudes against English, stoped close by in a guesthouse before flying and definitely not the good scottish welcome there aswell as food was Not good, greasy and felt very unwelcomed, Bad experiences and not complementary to the Good scottish and welcoming attitude of people

Great menu here, nice selection of Italian dishes like lasagne macaroni cheese and pizza as well as the usual fish and chips. They also have a nice vegan selection, we definitely recommend the sausage supper (picture attached). Nice service too and a nice welcome, definitely putting Paisley on the map!

The food was disgusting, Cheese had been pulled off the pizza and was all over the box, sausages were tiny and chips were solid like they had been lying for days. I called the shop and apparently with the pizza "it happens sometimes" and I was told the sausages are supposed to be that small. At the time of call I hadn't tasted the chips so hadn't mentioned it. I was told there was nothing they could do ad the driver was finished and to try and eat it best I can and they would give me a free pizza tomorrow..The quality was so poor it was all binned. What a waste of money and woman didn't seem care. We have never had a problem here before so we assumed it would be rectified quickly but she didn't seem to care.

Freshly cooked fish. Amazing and worth it. Very tasty 🤤

Disappointed munchie box for 15 pounds wasn't gd hardly any chips defo not worth 15 pounds the mac and cheese for 6 pounds was hardly any there cheek to charge ppl for this the portion sizes aren't gd very small for the prices don't think will be bk

Got a notification from this chippy saying enjoy your food so called and said I can't enjoy food I don't have for them to say driver is on way they are 8 mins away from me that was 20:04 so should have been here at 20:12 I am writing this now at 20:44 called again for the lady to say aww can't get hold of driver and said do I know he has other orders .... yeh I do I'm a delivery driver myself ya cheeky bxxxh so don't say he's on way when he clearly isn't update to follow when or if it arrives 🤔

rotten service from an established chippy . pizza was burnt and dry as a bone. chip portion was tiny and chips were what looks like the left over crumbs from the bottom of a bag. never again. used to be a favourite family chippy but waste of money now.

Waited 2 hours for delivery, food cold and greasy. The amount of chips given for a supper was shocking. Not even an apology from the delivery person.

Got to be the worst pizza I’ve ever had. Cold, over cooked and the chips weren’t cooked properly.

Chips had black pieces in most of them fish was so sogy it broke from soggy batter what a waste 1 bit of fish eaten and 4 chips didnt taste good at all hope chippy takes my review seriously

There was an accident on the motorway so food was cold they changed it within an hour but it was only slightly warmer than the first time friendly staff doesn't make up for warm food

Munchie box was lacking. Literally about 6chips in it and everything else tasted mediocre. At least put enough chips to fill out the half empty box.

Ordered a munchie box took almost an hour to arrive it was stone cold and no salt or vinegar, tiny portions of COLD curry sauce and gravy, also sopping with grease. Ate the sausage and the rest was thrown away.. dissapointing because I’ve always rated Hippy Chippy! Maybe just a bad night?? The fried mars bar was magic though. Oh and the driver tried to bump my can x

Pizza was asif it was reheated. The taste of vinegar off it was unreal the chips? Well it was like one scoop in each box full dinner went right in the bin

Food was freezing Onion rings couldn't eat were all burnt and little pieces of batter.

portion sizes were not good at all , £8.20 for a special fish super and it looked as if there were about 15 chips

Always delicious, hot and good portion sizes! Great vegan options, and we always get food delivered quicker than the estimated time. The oven pizzas are delicious, and everything is freshly made. 10/10!!

Pizza was cold and soaking wet and my drink was missing :( I understand Saturdays are busy but it was a real disappointment

Bland and tasteless, grease box. Didn't pack my can of juice either. Took over an hour to come back with it. Woman on phone was very rude also

Mac n cheese was lovely but small portion, was more like a side. Chips were slightly dry and half the portion was small leftover chips. Overall tasted good so will try them again.

Got a fish supper batter was pale and soggy, fish was probably pollock cheapest on the market and still had skin on it. This place use to be great but awful now won’t be back

The portion size is shocking, last time I buy from here, got my son chips and cheese and had to send him to another chippy to get something else. I got hamburger supper with very few chips 👎👎

Placed order, full meal missing. Spoke to delivery driver told me to call shop. Phoned shop and the attitude of the manager Monica was absolutely disgusting, spoke to me like I was the one that made the mistake and hung the phone up after a barrage of abuse!! Food was rotten, portions tiny! Avoid!!

I asked for salt and vinegar there was none the fish was small meal was cold had to heat it up in air fryer. Was extremely disappointed

I thought I would give the Hippy Chippy a try a I cant remember the last time I was there ordered Two bags of chips at £5.20, the portions were small and the chips were awful mainly hard and dry on the outside the two bags went in the bin. Paisley Lacks decent chip shops but this was to me the worst chips ever.

Vegan sausage supper had one vegan sausage one pork other than that everything was OK but our vegan was not happy

Absolutely shocking service, came here many times and has been brilliant but tonight was ridiculous, an hour late than told. Only had 2 pizzas and a chips. After phoning the shop twice just felt was fobbed off. Food came, chips freezing and the pizzas were burned!

Special Fish was fresh & crispy and lovely little deep fried pickled onion...Can't wait to try more next time!

Ordered a vegan sausage supper and was given only a handful of chips. Pretty shocking value for money... the portion size was really small and felt like I was definitely not getting my money's worth. It's a takeaway.... not a fine dining restaurant

Ordered over the phone as they need some notice to prepare food in their veggie oil. Happy to accommodate vegetarians/halal diets. Polite and friendly staff!

I was specific about my order due to it being vegan and everything was perfect. The wait time was reasonable as was the pricing, food was hot and you could tell it was fresgh, and the driver was polite and friendly. My first time ordering from here and definitely wont be my last.

Although the food was tasty it was so cold that the pizza was like cardboard! Obviously been with the driver a while. Chips were also not hot! Disappointing!

Waited 2 hours for my food. When it came pizza was rock solid, chicken on pizza had black gooey bits on it! Two portions of chips came in tiny boxes. Also ordered a single sausage which would usually come with two large sausage and they were miniature. Do not recommend!!!

We buy out hippy chippy all time but last couple orders have been so greesy and fish isn't as good as it uselly is . Last night's fish was bad the batter we had to dab with a paper towel to get rid of some of the grease and the fritters were unedible .hopefully this was a one off .

Ordered at 6.20pm food arrived at 7.50pm. Phoned Shop and was told food was on its way. I was assured the food would be warm. The food was luke warm to cold. The grease on the chips and onion rings has solidified. Worst food delivery we have ever had. Will never use this Chip Shop for deliveries again

Lovely special fish supper with brown sauce. Cooked perfectly. Delivered quickly and pleasant driver. This is the best chip shop in paisley.

Sausage supper was really tasty. Pepperoni pizza with extra onion and mushroom was disappointing! Absolutely NO pepperoni on pizza!!! Lol. Guess you forgot? Please consider option for salt and vinegar

Haven't had a chippy in years, but tried the vegan sausage supper and burgers. It was great. Delivery was a bit later than the initial time, but the app kept me updated. The food was all at perfect temperature.
