UPDATE: Have just got back after a sushi and cocktails evening here (the first time we've sampled their evening wares despite being regulars in the cafe). OMG it was AWESOME! Great food (provided by Kira Maki) and fabulous range of drinks. Not really tried cocktails before, despite liking a drink or three, so this was new territory for me. Have to say I was very pleasantly surprised. Had a great evening and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for reasonably priced night out ORIGINAL REVIEW: Always a friendly welcome with excellent service, great coffee and awesome range of homemade cakes - including fresh scones still warm from the oven if you time it right! Fabulous range of freshly prepared milkshakes available too (much to the daughter's delight).

Yet another nice morning brew in The Hideout. Love this place.. both for the coffee/tea shop experiences and the Saturday evening cocktail bar....

Went for afternoon tea and had a fantastic experience. Sue and Angela are lovely, so attentive and would recommend the experience to anybody. Reasonably priced for the amount of food you get and dietary accommodations are easily accessible worked around. We had such a lovely time and will be back again.

Booked for afternoon tea to celebrate my birthday with some close friends so we thought we would try the Hideout....... so happy we did. The afternoon tea was delicious and incredibly generous portion wise. The magic happened when we came back after 6 for a cocktail to finish off the day. The cocktails were incredible as were Suzanne and Amber (I hope I'm right with your name....... after you had finished with us I couldn't remember my own) I do hope lots and lots of people see this and come around to check out your delicious espresso martinis. Thanks again for a fab afternoon/evening/hangover....... can't wait to see you ladies again 😘

Had festive afternoon tea here - food was delicious and nothing was too much trouble. Prosecco with raspberries was a nice addition too. Definitely recommend and will return soon

We decided to host our friend's baby shower here...lovely atmosphere, great communication from the owner, delicious afternoon tea food - just overall a beautiful place for a celebration. Would definitely recommend! 😊

Visited this delightful coffee shop for the first time today . Delicious warm fruit scone just out of the oven and lovely coffee. The service was excellent ,staff very friendly and welcoming . Will certainly be returning

I booked an afternoon tea for my Mum's 70th birthday in October. On phoning Sue she asked for our dietary requirements and if we wanted anything in particular on the day. The Hideout is in a great location, quiet and cosy behind the church in town and once we arrived, were seated at our reserved table and promptly served the biggest pot of tea we've ever had! The afternoon tea soon arrived and was much more than the two of us could manage. Everything was delicious and, most importantly, fresh - you could tell immediately that Sue and her staff had just made the sandwiches. It was such a lovely experience and Sue ensured we were happy and had enough tea throughout. Anything left over was boxed up so we could enjoy the rest at home. Unbeknownst to us, Sue had purchased some flowers for my mum and presented them to her when I was paying. This was such a special touch and was the perfect ending to our afternoon tea experience. You can tell that Sue and the rest of the staff are passionate about what they do. They're so friendly and welcoming - it's no a surprise that The Hideout is full of regulars. Thank you so much Sue & co, we can't wait to return for another special treat!

Great little place, aptly named, just off the High St, the right ambiance created by Sue, always busy which speaks for itself really, together with delicious food and coffee, definitely recommended, so well done guys

A fantastic happy hour or two of cocktails at The Hideout in Churchside Arcade. Fantastic staff and a great atmosphere. We highly recommend you give them a visit soon and when you do, try a Purple Rain!

Had a delicious Afternoon Tea at The Hideout yesterday. Really delicious scones, cakes and sandwiches and friendly staff. For vegans, give them a few days notice and it'll be well worth it! :)

Absolutely love this place. It has brilliant atmosphere and the people that work there are so lovely. A go to place for cocktails when we go out for drinks. I've never had a cocktail from here that i haven't loved

Lovely friendly cafe with good coffee and cakes. Also great for lunches and afternoon teas. As a special bonus it is also a cocktail bar on Friday and Saturday evenings. A haven of peace away from the hustle and bustle of the town, but since the change of ownership it's different and the scones have dropped in size alot

This is an oasis of calm in a busy town. This tiny cafe, hidden away in a quiet shopping arcade behind the church in the middle of Rugby is exactly the place to sit relax and enjoy a cuppa, and perhaps a light meal or tempting cream cake during a lull in a hectic day. Kind, helpful staff are always attentive and knowledgeable about Rugby town if you need help.

We had my daughters baby shower here. Great atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely recommend for any occasion.
