Parece que tienen una nueva administración y han realizado algunos trabajos de renovación. Comimos en el restaurante, que estaba bien. Pequeño menú pero están probando a su personal de comida y cocina. La comida asiática en general estaba bien con el desierto tirado gratis. Con una comida y un par de bebidas cada una, nuestra factura rondaba las 80 libras. Los baños eran atroces! Algunas puertas no se cerraban y la mayoría de los baños no tenían papel higiénico. El piso parecía que algo sucio había sido arrastrado y dejado secar. Muy antihigiénico y no es un buen final para lo que fue una buena noche en general.

Fuimos un largo trago con amigos y nos pareció una experiencia bastante decepcionante. El problema principal era el personal del bar (singular) que era muy lento, algo desinteresado y aparentemente no muy experimentado. Supongo que no fue culpa suya, estaba solo, pero comprar una ronda en un pub medio vacío tomó demasiado tiempo. No hay bebidas "sin alcohol" en el menú tampoco.

I visited the pub a the end of November with some friends and all us (around 10) had food. Almost all the dishes arrived after 30 minutes and they were cold, we asked the manager why we had to wait for so long for cold food and he was extremely rude and we had to argue with him to have our food prepared again. On the second attempt the food was ok but some starters such as the onion rings and popcorn chicken were soggy, we gave up on complaining again with the manager and just left.it is a real shame for this pub as the premises are really nice but the place is very badly managed and some of the dishes are poorly prepared.

Good meal and nice service but they had managed to run out of a few things on the menu which was a shame.This is a large space so not one for an intimate dinner but the food was good and wine flowed. Interestingly there were no vegetarian options as a main course but the kitchen made up a tomato pasta dish

Friendly staff but quality of food well below average We came as a group of 12. We waited for ages for food. Those that ordered tomato soup all sent it back. Mains were all cold and hard. Staff gave us free drinks and 15% off. This is such a nice venue but the food is so bad I can hardly recommend

We've been here 12 m ago but on this occasion we were presented with an Indian menu as well as the usual.We all chose the Indian food and we were blown away, absolutely lush,so tasty and certainly not too spicy.The service was Impeccable and once again great ambience.We we're told that this menu had only been running for 2weeks, long may it continueWe will return

Popped in tonight for drinks on our way out for dinner. Greeted at the door by a member of staff in a suit who wanted to seat us - rather intimidating. Felt very unwelcome just having a drink in the bar area of the pub. Is the HH a pub with a restaurant at the back or is it now just a restaurant that serves drinks? We have been going to this pub for a number of years and it has a great garden........but don’t think we will be going back as the atmosphere is unwelcoming and just not the same.

Bright and airy setting. Early evening buzz with groups enjoying the cocktails, some in two for £10, some not. Service friendly but slow given the cocktail demand. Interesting decor. Good place to meet and set up for the evening

Having had a meal in a local restaurant, we decided to end the evening with some drinks! This did not suit the staff, arrived at 9.40 to be told we could half one drink! We were made to feel very uncomfortable, last order bells were ringing, the barman was theatrically spraying every surface in sight and we took the hint and left at 10.15! The sign displayed on the door advises that the pub is open till 11pm, very misleading! We will not return, and will ensure that our money is spent in a more deserving establishment!

That’s right. Gotta get that salty goodness in with a pint. Head chef and Brooke working wonders! Btw Brooke has the American service behind her.

I was looking forward to lunch with my friend and she suggested the Hampshire Hog. Impressive website, lovely back garden seating area. Tap water freely available. Then, a 15 minute wait and my friend had to go inside and ask for menus. When the salads came they were tasteless and for £13 poor value. Does anyone taste the salads in the kitchen.? Masses of red onion, hardly any avocado and very few tomatoes. I had to go and ask for some balsamic vinegar to get some kind of flavour. Shan't come back.

Had the chicken with parsley mash and garlic broccoli, it was delicious! Great selection of beers, wines and spirits too. Dog friendly. Waitress was very friendly and attentive and played with my dog too. Beautiful beer garden too. Would recommend!

He estado varias veces en los últimos 4 años para el Hampshire Hog. No se puede negar que los ajustes son excelentes. Acogedor comedor y hermoso jardín de cerveza en la parte trasera donde los niños pueden correr. Pero la comida. . . Es francamente promedio, las porciones son pequeñas. Mi hija pidió el "aguacate con pan de masa fermentada", uno de los entrantes. Trajeron un aguacate, desnudo, y un pedazo de pan blanco al lado. El domingo asado no fue nada especial. Sus porciones de papas son pequeñas. No es una gran experiencia culinaria.

A lovely looking pub with a great interior and garden.It's very popular with locals and especially families.We decided to try one of the gin cocktails from the bar menu.We had the rhubarb and gib with ginger ale and the Sipsmith with grapefruit Both so delicious we had another!Great pub although bar staff could be a bit more friendlier and happier.

Good staff let down by poor cooking and overpriced food. If you’re going to serve Sunday lunch you kind of have to serve hot cooked potatoes and beef that’s not largely fat.

It's been a while since I ve been there. This gastropub is so elegant, homely, it seems to be in vacation for the atmosphere. The garden is lovely, I find so grateful that the tables are in good distance between one and another. The staff is so kind, helpful and always ready to satisfy your needs. Last but not least... The Food, ok I am Italian and I am bit faccy, I do Italian  cooking classes, my motto is quality on top of everything, the Chef had done such a great job, you can taste when a dish has been prepared with passion, love and dedication. For me it's the place in London. Definitely me and my friend we will come back regularly. We found our place thanksSabrina 

Stopped by for a few drinks, ended up ordering food and stayed until closing time! Staff did an amazing job - service was fab, food was delicious, and so many drinks to choose from (happy hour cocktails were a hit!!) - not what we expected from a pub. The atmosphere alone is enough to bring us back

Visited with family during the weekend just past for dinner. Wish I'd read the reviews, service was abysmal and poor standard of food. Staff seemed more interested in talking with one another, had to approach staff multiple times on the long wait on food (wasn't even busy). Food was mediocre and poor presentation, mains had to be sent back after waiting 40 mins as were under cooked. Voiced opinion to so called 'manager' who wasn't apologetic, more irradiated even and too occupied behind a laptop. Would NOT recommend.

Family member prebooked this lovely restaurant as a surprise, so glad they did! Welcoming and busy atmosphere with friendly staff. Food was excellent with plenty to choose from. For starters shared - the most tasty bar snacks, decided on the pork belly for main dish - delicious! Would certainly recommend and return.

When the suns out this venue really shines! The bartenders are skilled to the point they can serve you any drink that fits the mood or celebration! Then when the sun goes down the garden turns into a romantic get away with fairy lights lighting...

Went to The Hampshire hog for dinner last night and had such a fabulous evening in this quirky independent gastro pub, it has a pretty garden and really great food . The crab with spices cucumber and lime yoghurt was delicious so was the asparagus dish and the skate wing was sublime . Will be back for more . Perfect place for alfresco dining . Best pub in Hammersmith!

Mi marido y yo tuvimos la recepción de nuestra boda en el blanco por encima del pub principal. El equipo del Hog aseguraba que teníamos el día especial y nos cuidó muy bien. Durante la semana de Julia el gerente, llamado varias veces a pequeños detalles y me hizo sentir realmente nos aseguró que el evento sería bien organizado. La habitación estaba muy bien y pudimos poner nuestra propia Bunting y fotos para el espacio nuestro propio. Cuando llegamos, nos tomamos unas copas y aperitivos en su precioso jardín, y teníamos Sebastián como nuestro camarero personal para toda la noche. El nivel de servicio y hospitalidad era excepcional, y el personal no podría haber sido más atento y encantador. Nos tomó fotos para nosotros, nos registramos en nosotros regularmente, pero nunca penetrado en nuestra boda íntima. La comida era deliciosa y se sirve muy rápidamente y nos dejaron llevar nuestra propia tarta. El menú del Hog es estacional y todo estaba cocinado a la perfección. El postre las porciones son enormes! Inclusive pudimos usar el wifi y a familiares de Skype en Nueva Zelanda para compartir nuestro día. La mañana siguiente nos volvimos para el desayuno y la habitación estaba impecable con todas nuestras decoraciones cuidadosamente empacamos, listas para llevar a casa.

Stumbled across this place and glad I did. The decor id delightful, cocktails during happy hour 5 - 7 pm are tasty! They are served in cute jars. Lovely staff and music choices. Calm, happy atmosphere. Would love to visit on a night.

Great atmosphere, tastefully decorated, great food. We went there for a meal before an event at the Hammersmith Apollo and it was perfect for that. They should look to market that opportunity as we were the only ones in the dining area at that early evening timeslot at first and only 2 other tables came before we left. Given that, they could have offered us a better table, instead we were shown to a small table for two whilst a load of better ones stayed empty for the entire time we were there. Prices reasonable given we only eat a main each and shared a starter, although if we'd have had three courses each it would have looked a little expensive for a relaxed pub meal. They should consider 2 or 3 course deals. Service from the waitress was good although from the staff generally a little inattentive at times and no-one made the effort to thank us on the way out, which I always want to see from any restaurant. We had to catch the eye of someone and thank them first, otherwise we would have left without any contact.

For a great pub dining experience, go to The Hampshire Hog. We were with friends on Saturday night and we enjoyed the atmosphere and the food which we found fresh and appealing.

I great discovery for me and my husband in this area. This place has a welcoming feel to it and feels like a nice cafe with a bar. The place is well laid out so you are not on top of one another. The menu is also well thought out. I like the small plates idea ( Tapas) for 6 pounds each. There is a nice outdoor section at the back for warmer days. I will be using this pub a lot as the other ones in the area are not that appealing. Good friendly service from the staff.

eclectic interior and clientele -- while I'm not vegetarian, and there were plenty of other options on the menu, I thoroughly enjoyed the homemade veggie burger and polenta chips. Good beer and wines -- only problem was that the waitress was very new and brought out some very fruity ciders instead of the dry cider requested.

I have known of this pub for 20 plus years but have never come in. A friend and I were early for a meeting and needed a place to sit. This pub is large and very bright (lots of white decor) and did an excellent and strong flat white coffee and a decent quality draft beer.

Very different in style from most of the local rivals, but it works. Great garden for the summer too but food not really up to same level. Veggie burger very dry.

Came across this place recently and popped in for a quick dinner. The menu is a little different offering some interesting choices, including a number of great veggie options. The veggie burger was excellent and really large and filling, served with polenta chips. The Japanese curry was also excellent with lots of fish and a great curry sauce. The curry also had some potato in it and it could have benefited with a little more. Overall though, it was a great meal and the service was warm and friendly

We dropped in for a late lunch in this light and airy very individual creative restaurant/wine bar - defiantly not like a gastro pub, more select and yet reasonably priced.There were many types of diners eating, drinking, and some just having afternoon tea. The restaurant is very spacious so there is a cosy corner for everyone.The menu is quite diverse, with lots to choose from to suit the diner’s appetite and pocket! We had a bottle of wine and the burgers that were amazing, stacked high topped with blue cheese in brioche buns, yummy! They were complimented with tasty sweet potato chips – we were tooooo full to order anything else!The staff were attentive, chatty and efficient making it altogether a very pleasant dining experience. We would definitely recommend this lovely place.

went here for Sunday lunch..starters were cold and tasteless. The menu reads good but very mediocre children running about everywhere noise level through the roof. could not relax paid for starters and walked out cancelled the mains due to noise and quality of starters not cheap other gastro pubs in the area are far superior. will never be back even with a buggy.

My friend and I organised a baby shower here. Everyone really enjoyed it. After the original place we had booked let us down and not having been to the Hampshire Hog before, I was not expecting much from a last minute booking. However, as soon as I got there, I knew we would be in good hands: the room was elegant and beautiful, the staff was helpful and friendly and the food was delicious. I cannot speak too highly of our experience and the mother to be loved it. Sebastien was absolutely brilliant, knowing when to give us space to chat and when to take drinks/dessert orders. He really helped us make our friend's day special and everyone commented on how great he was, particularly since he had to serve everything up so many stairs (we were in a private room upstairs)!! Everyone who attended would go back - it was fantastic. I cannot rave about it enough.

Stopped off for a bite to eat and a few pints on the way to a friends wedding. Great atmosphere, loved the decor. The food was fantastic and the service was excellent. We let them know we had to be in and out by a certain time and that wasn't an issue. I'll definitely be back!

Hadn't booked a table to pleased to find that you can just turn up & be offered a table. Very spacious inside with lost of tables but still excellent service. Food delicious and the atmosphere good.

We passed this eatery during the evening, as we were rushing to catch the tube for a gig in nearby Hammersmith. It looked very appealing, so as we had some more leisurely time the next day, and plus it was such a lovely day, we had lunch in the garden. Unusually warm for early March. The service was very good, and they obviously cater for children, which is nice to see. I chose the poached pear with stilton and rocket salad, and my wife had the home made beef burger. Accompanied by a very refreshing French white wine. We both enjoyed our food, and my wife in particular thought the burger was very good. The decor inside, and the ambiance of this place was really appealing. We stayed in the Holiday Inn, Ravenscourt Park, which is just up the road from this great place. Only one tube stop from Hammersmith Odeon for all you concert goers, we found this an ideal location. Hopefully next time we can have an evening meal.

We required a private room for a group first birthday party for seven 1 year olds - as you can imagine the demands that come with such a group - high chairs / space to store prams etc etc were high, however HH could not have been more accommodating and helpful. The staff in advance of our lunch were so helpful and all of my requests were clearly communicated to the team on the day. The food was great and really yummy - we will certainly be coming back for meals in the main restaurant and would highly recommend the private rooms for any events.

I came in for dinner with 3 friends the other night and we all loved it. I had the stuffed squid and the Steak and it was delicious. The atmosphere is great and the staff lovely. I will definitely be back and recommend it to everyone. Cheers

Stumbles across this place during a quick visit to Hammersmith. Had a really relaxed atmosphere, and a wide variety of food choices. Service was quick, and friendly. Would recommend the eggs oyal for people looking for a hearty breakfast!

We popped in for lunch after registering our new born at the town hall next door. We ordered a soup and two of the egg based meals along with chips/polenta.The soup had truffle oil in, that wasn't intimated from the menu. Unfortunately the mother in law doesn't like truffle oil.Both the egg dishes were tepid warm. I struggled through mine, but my fiancee sent hers back. It was returned later still tepid. So she refused to eat it and we weren't billed for it. The chips were also tepid warm. The polenta actually was hot, but tasteless and greasy.Overall not a great experience. Other reviews point to meals or parts thereof not being hot so it seems to be a common issue here.

only a flying visit to Hammersmith we stumbled on this place and thought it looked nice and it was, so glad we ate here. The whole experience was good from start to finish, food and service was fab and if I visited the area again I would definitely eat here. Thankyou Hampshire Hog :) .

I must apologise for the error on my part in relation to my review ' Birthday celebration'. It was most definitely not the Hammersmith restaurant that I visited. There seems to have been an error in the selection of venue when posting the review. I can tell from the photos of the Hammersmith restaurant that it is a bright, charming and delightful place - that I may be fortunate to visit one day. It looks far removed from the terrible experience I encountered elsewhere. Thank you for pointing out to me that I was reviewing the wrong restaurant! Please accept my humble apologies. Lisa B

We booked a table for three people on a Sunday afternoon. First disappointment was finding the table reserved for us was more suitable for two. The staff obviously agreed with us as they suggested we wait in the lounge area until a bigger table became available. Perhaps they could have just done as we asked and reserved a table for three in the first place?! This did delay us being able to get settled and order our food.My partner and I ordered the roast pork and as this had sold out the waitress ( or possibly manager, not sure) did kindly offer us a different type of pork that we could have with the roast accompaniments instead, which was very kind. She also did the same for our friend who wanted a vegetarian version of the roast. So far so good. Unfortunately the veggie roast had a stone cold Yorkshire pudding and a slightly burnt burger with no sign of any gravy or sauce to moisten an otherwise quite dry meal. The pork was okay, with nicely cooked carrots and Savoy cabbage but not particularly exciting for £17.For pudding again my friend was badly let down by a burnt polenta cake with no sign of any sauce to help elevate it. She couldn't eat much of it. I faired slightly better with the crumble however the decent sized portion was accompanied by little more than a thimble of custard that disappeared into a mound of crumble once poured. We asked for more and after a long wait and having to remind the staff we received a slightly smaller helping than before in the same tiny vessel which made me feel a little like a point was being made. Again at £5 a portion for fruit with a crumble topping is it too much to ask for a decent amount of custard, it 's hardly saffron after all.Service was slow and by some staff on the point of surly. The manageress was the only person who appeared to care but even she took offence if you complained as we did about the poor vegetarian meal. I also found it uncomfortable to have staff busily setting up for the evening by adding candles and bar menus to our table whilst we ate. Maybe that could have waited, it made me feel like my time was up at the table. So here lies the problem. If you are a pub pretending to be a restaurant, charging considerable amounts of money then you need to perform much better than this. Even the online menu is peppered with spelling mistakes. Surely attention to detail in every aspect of one's business is key.Bafflingly, having mentioned to the waitress about the burnt polenta cake and having received no apology or any response whatsoever we assumed this was also of no interest. Only on returning home and checking the receipt I realised that they had removed this from the bill. Perhaps it would've been nice to tell us that so we knew our custom was important to them. Instead, again it just felt a little sulky to me.When we arrived I mentioned that as a Hammersmith council employee I had heard that we received a discount in the pub (15%) but I was told that the owner had instructed staff to withdraw that offer as ' fiscally they could no longer afford to do it' and indeed to continue to do it would result in them going out of business. An odd thing to share with a potential customer and a sign of perhaps how they view customers, purely in pound signs.

We found ourselves there by accident, having been badly let down by The Gate (never again, but that's another story).The choice of menu and the food were good. We all had different appetites and desires - one vegetarian, one meat and two veg, one with an appetite of a bird etc - and we were all catered fro very nicely. The portions are generous and everything is well cooked and well presented.The service is willing, but needs a little more training. It's the very typical scenario of Eastern European girls who want to be helpful but haven't been fully trained in how to be so.But I would definitely go back and probably will.

I first came here a few years ago with friends and, nice though the space is, felt short changed by the food. Came here again last year and left within 3 minutes as there was no service to speak of. Came again today with friends who introduced it, as alternative venues were not available. I so hoped it would be a better experience, but sadly it was not to be.Food first. Most of us had the celeriac soup as, frankly, soup is easy, right? So wrong! Even as the waitress was putting it down the soup looked like it was powdered. It tasted very thin in terms of the amount of celeriac that may have been used. And there was no depth to it - I wondered whether they bothered to use a stock! Soup is cheap to make and with what they're charging they were still cutting corners. I would have left by then if it wasn't for my friends.We all ordered either roast pork or roast beef as main course. After a very long wait I again worried as the roast pork appeared. There was a leathery yellow piece of something purporting to be crackling, and the smell of the dish didn't seem natural. At least the 'crackling' was crispy and tasted ok. The meat was a bit non descript. There was a bit of to-ing and fro-ing as to how well done some of the roast beef was supposed to be. A couple of them went back for a nuke, but some friends still couldn't finish them. It also seems they have a vat marked 'gravy' in the kitchen for all roasts as it tasted the same for beef and pork. Again for £18 It's not very enjoyable.Things did look up with the desserts but we all shared just to be safe. The tiramisu was enormous and what little I had seemed decent. The pavlova was 'nice', but a friend remarked it could do with more fruit. With drinks the bill came to just under £30. Not outrageous but not very satisfying either for the quality of the food.The friend who did the booking said we had to be there for 12:15 as the place was fully booked for lunch. We left about 3pm and the place was still half empty so I had no idea what that was about. And I shudder to think how long it would have taken to carve some roast meat if the place were full.Again, great spot, nice room, shame about the food.The

Came here for drinks with my fiancé and future in-laws before having dinner at the Chinese opposite. 21st Century feel and updated decor in what looks like a 100 year old pub. Friendly bar staff.

We went to the Hamshire Hog after a show at the Lyric Theatre on a Friday night. It seems to stay open late and had a very busy, buzy atmosphere with a comfortable bar area at the front and a restaurant area at the back. The staff were young and very friendly and informal. They had a very long wine list - but unfortunately no one on the staff seemed to be able to offer any advice on any of the bottles we enquired about which was a bit of a shame! However all in all we enjoyed our meal and the overall experience and would definitely go there again if and when we are in the area.
