What an absolute gem. Excellent food. Lovely friendly staff. Great atmosphere decent price S well. Cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Absolutely outstanding from start to finish. My steak was utterly delicious and could have been cut with a blunt butter knife! It was cooked to perfection! My husband had a burger which he said was absolutely delicious and was beautifully presented. Even though we were full we simply had to try the sundaes.....the Scottish one and the Shortbread & Tablet one. Wow! Fabulous! We left with very full tummies and a vow to return next time we are in North Berwick! Lovely, welcoming and friendly staff!

Wow! Absolutely perfect from start to finish. We took our Jack Russell with us and were immediately supplied with a bowl of water. The menu is vast with lots of tempting choices. I had a 'melt in the mouth' sirloin which was cooked to perfection. My husband had a burger and he said it was sublime. Even though the portions were huge we still managed to try the fabulous sundaes.....tablet and shortbread for me, and the Scottish sundae for my husband. We left with very full tummies and a vow to return next time we are in North Berwick. Cannot recommend highly enough and the staff were absolutely lovely. Give it a try, you won't regret it!!

Amazing food with generous portions. I thought I knew what I was going to order until Caleb came over and talked us through the options. Can’t recommend this place enough and we will definitely return.

Enjoyed a great 16oz Rib eye steak with herb & butter sauce & fries here. Pretty quiet mid week & off season so can’t really rate the atmosphere

Wow, this is an amazing spot with perfectly cooked and seasoned food! The atmosphere along with the service put it over the top. We came for my birthday dinner and our waiter Caleb was amazing! So funny and friendly and the perfect end to my birthday. Definitely a must visit if you’re in North Berwick!!!!

Fantastic burgers, friendly, helpful staff. Fully licensed bar serving local beer. Booking is recommended as a small restaurant. On street and carpark parking available a short walk from restaurant. Unfortunately, the washroom isn't wheel chair friendly. Dogs welcome. All in a fantastic wee delicious restaurant 😋. Bass Rock burger was amazing

We first visited The Grange with our family in June 2024 at which time we enjoyed a terrific meal the enjoyment of which was enhanced by the quite lovely and attentive folk who run and work at the restaurant. A flying visit to the area this week gave my wife and I the opportunity to revist the place and we were not dissapointed. The food is great and the portion sizes are to say the least generous. You will not leave the place hungry and if like me you are unable to resist the banofee pie then you will most certainly be overly full as you walk out the door. Our thanks for a most enjoyable evening and your engaging style. Restaurants are for us much more than the quality of the food and in that regard The Grange and those who work there make for a highly enjoyable time.

Went here for my wife's birthday and what an amazing meal, took our 2 dogs too who were made very welcome. Fantastic food and service, can't wait to go back and try more off the menu.

We had a great meal there last week. We can't eat gluten or dairy and the waitress was incredible at telling us what we could have or what they could alter for us. We ended up having the ribs which were absolutely delicious and a burger too, which was great. Apart from the food, the service was incredible. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

My 3 buddies and I stayed in North Berwick for a golf trip recently. We were lucky to find The Grange one evening as it was just down the road from where we were staying. We had the BEST ribs that night and all agreed we would have walked miles to come here! Joanne was outstanding. We told her we would love to come back, but the following day we were playing 36 and might not get there before she closed. No worries- she would stay open for us! And she even found us a taxi for the following morning to pick us up when we couldn’t find one! Now that’s service! We ended up eating there THREE times we loved it that much! This is a must for anyone visiting North Berwick!

Probably the best burger I've had in the past 12 months, great choice of burgers and steaks (not really one for the vegans) although they do also cater for the non carnivorous. I had the och eye the coo which has haggis amongst the ingredients, everything arrived quickly and hot. Great food, great staff and and great value. miss this place at your peril!

It’s not for me! After waiting a long time to go was really excited and possibly set my expectations too high. The menu has a lot on there and everything sounds amazing. My disappointment was with the quality of the burger - it felt like it had a lot of filler in it and the texture was weird. A small adjustment to a higher quality steak burger would make all the difference. Service was good and the food was served fast and hot!

Very good steakhouse in this small Scottish town My sirloin was a little overcooked, but overall a good culinary experience. Highly recommended, staff attentive and friendly.

This is the best restaurant in North Berwick, unless you're a vegetarian, in which case it's probably not for you

What a gem. Superb food, the ribs melted in my mouth. My sister had the chicken fillets with an amazing sauce. The staff were brilliant, very friendly and helpful. I was silly and left my binoculars, the wonderful chap ran down the road to return them to me. Above and beyond service.

Perfect ribs, steak outside brown, inside red , absolutely perfect, hot and fresh. Great food at fair price.

A birthday celebration with family and what a fabulous place to celebrate. The food is amazing the staff are so friendly and helpful. The steaks are huge and the sweet chilli and soy sauce is to die for. You won't get the recipe though sadly 😞 will have to visit again for the steaks and sauce. Our meal was so good we went back the night after for another meal but different food and it was all amazing

An amazing steak house with fantastic front of house staff. So good we went back a second time. Steaks, Fish, Chicken and children's meals are all amazing. The chilli and soy sauce and the blue cheese sauce are to die for. Highly recommended by the whole family if 4 adults 2 kids and a dog

We went here twice during our golf vacation. Food was very generous and we had fish, steak, burgers and ribs. Caleb remembered everything we ordered a couple days earlier. Food was delivered to all of us at the same time. Highly recommended. Good value.

Our first visit and definitely won’t be the last! Great menu, all the food we ordered was delicious and the portions were generous, we were all stuffed you could’ve rolled us out of there! The desserts were amazing and the staff were lovely. I’d definitely recommend!

Went for the 12 oz ribeye ,great flavour ,and my mate had the cod and chips excellent choice , finished off with vanilla ice cream lush

The two of us went for lunch and we’re tempted by the Turkey dinner which was a special for Christmas. OMG! It was fantastic!! I’m a fussy eater but I devoured everything, even the sprouts! Matt and Joanne are amazing hosts and the care that goes into the service and food quality are second to none.

We went to the all you can eat goujons and loaded chips. It was absolutely amazing. We 100% will be back and checking in for the Goujons again.

Tasty food big portions really enjoyed the meal and was reasonably priced.

Best burgers I've ever had. Choice is amazing and served by friendly welcoming staff . I had the beaten boxer burger and would highly recommend. My wife had the why so blue and thoroughly enjoyed it also

Popped in without booking, showed to a lovely table for 2 straight away! Drinks order taken, water for 2, a glass of Pinot and a beer! I ordered ribeye (medium) with sweet potato fries and extra mushrooms and my hubby ordered a rack of ribs with pulled pork cheesy fries, came with side salad, onion rings and coleslaw Food was simply stunning, cooked to perfection Massive portions so we ended up taking some home for lunch the following day Reasonably priced, staff very friendly and attentive Thank you ✅✅

We had a meal here last year as we could bring the dog. We returned dog less this time as we had enjoyed the meal last year and we weren’t disappointed. We just had the one course but boy! was it a big one. We both went for burgers and got rather more than we bargained for- not that I am complaining at all! The burgers were thick and juicy. The bun very good. And the chips super. We had an Argentinian Malbec with it which complemented the meat perfectly. It was great to be back and I expect we’ll go again. If you love meat and especially beef this is the restaurant for you!

Amazing food by a beautiful family owned restaurant with the best staff! Every year I visit from Australia and every year it gets better! The Haggis nachos, rack of ribs, chilli cheese hotdog and turkish delight sundae are some of our faves! Furthermore; be sure to get the Stilton cream to dunk your chips in to! Best dinner in North Berwick: be sure to be book ahead!

Stayed in North Berwick for a week, visited midweek, so good went back a second time! Very understated from the outside, however by far the best place to eat in the town. (for those who like meat) Friendly staff, all dishes cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. Best of all was the excellent value for money, on the first night had a massive Sirloin for under £30! In today’s current climate it’s great to see an establishment that’s thinking about the dining experience and not just about how profit can be maximised. Well done to all.

I have to say the food was amazing and definitely lived up to the good reviews. The haggis nachos were amazing. I had the across the pond burger which was outstanding. Going with the reviews we thought we must try this place .My wife got what was supposed to be sirloin steak with peppercorn sauce...the sauce was a bland gravy the steak tasted like it had been put in a brevil grill the chips obviously cooked in old fat ...my fish and chips very poor also the chips again obviously cooked in old fat the batter on my fish also tasted of old fat and over done We ate as much as we dared more out of courtesy but wishing we both had just not bothered it certainly wasnt the food we expected ...hopefully the cook was just having a bad day and going with the good reviews previously its a one off.

If you find yourself in North Berwick Scotland this is a must visit restaurant. Great service and first class food. The Blue Cheese, Bacon & Pine Nut Salad is spectacular ( I passed on the nuts). Joanne was a terrific host. 11/10.

19th July 2023 Meal n Drinks. for 7 people absolutely fantastic In everything. Nachos with haggis were amazing and a burger to die for. The host and her team were great and nothing was a bother. Scottish banter was also brilliant

Called in today after going on a Bass Rock boat trip. We got there just as it opened, and we're shown straight to a table. We were served by a very friendly lady, and our food was served quickly, which was great as our teen son was starving! Everything we ordered was delicious and cooked beautifully. If we were ever in the area again, we would definitely visit again and would recommend to anyone visiting North Berwick.

We had lunch in this fabulous restaurant on Saturday and were really impressed with the variety of dishes available. The food was excellent in both quality, especially the seafood, and the service was absolutely fantastic. We will definitely be back!

Came across this restaurant by chance & all I can say is Wow !! What an amazing place, friendly staff, brilliant menu could have had many options. The best Mac & Cheese with grilled prawns was the best I have ever tasted. The only reason we didn’t return the following night was a change of plans but we will definitely be back & highly recommend a visit

Cant fault it. We were greeted and welcomed prior to the opening hours. Veey pleasant welcome and made feel comfortable right away. It is a steakhouse. So its a carnivores paradise. I had the burger 2 x 10 oz with brioche. Crispy bacon. Fried egg. Hash brown gherkin. Served with slaw, beans and fries. Was great. Hearty and tasty. My son had the chicken strips and they were lovely. Staff attentive throughout. I would recommend this to anyone that lokes steakhouse food. Friendly vibe good staff. I will most definately be back We had 2 pints of coke. The burger meal and the chicken meal and it was just under £40. What else can you ask for. But please take a little cash with you to tip the staff. It isnt one.of these tips added places.

We have been made welcome at the Grange at least once a month for 13 years and gets better and better. Exceptional quality and value. I have stopped eating steak at home because why bother when Matt and Joanne do it so much better. Please book because when you can't get in you have really missed out!

FANTASTIC. Great value and superb service. Caesar salad, followed by sirloin steak with oodles of tasty tomatoes, onion rings etc etc. Sheer quality. A winner every time I go

We lived in North Berwick for 10 years, lived near North Berwick for another 10 yet never set foot in this place. Tonight, more than accident than design, we ended up here and what a treat it was. The steak was as good as anywhere...

We were there for lunch on a Saturday with some friends. Service was good. We had a variety of main courses from steak to burgers, fish and chips, seafood platter and the vegetarian burger. Some of us had desserts. There was a good drinks list...

This place is fantastic. We've been visiting the area for some time and always looked at the menu, but we had our dog with us so couldn't go in. But then we found out that it was dog friendly so we booked straight away and had an amazing meal. The staff were excellent, food first class and we will certainly be going back. But just be aware the portions are huge. You will not be disappointed one bit.

We first visited the Grange last November and were able to go back last Saturday. We both had steaks one ribeye and one sirloin, just as good as last year. Staff were 5 star as well don’t know if we can wait a year for...

One of the finest steakhouses we've been to, service is second to none and food is out of this world, we had sharing nachos with BBQ pulled pork, 12oz sirloin with tiger prawns, also 9 circles of hell beef burger, few wines, couple of coca colas, oh and a sharing sundae, absolutely out of this world, totally recommend
