Pizza Den in East Lothian

Sadly really late but still charged delivery and service charge. Really disappointing

Ordered at 7.45pm, arrived at 9.39pm….ages after it was updated to show it was delivered. We won’t ever do this again!

Pizza was cold and I could probably smash a window with how hard the crusts were. Waste of money, won’t be back.

Pizza was good but arrived over 2 hours after ordering.

First time using Pizza Den and was not disappointed. Sooooo good.

Ordered food at 18:11 it arrived at 19:37 foot had been out for delivery for ages, the food was cold, the chips were hard with very little warmth and the meat on the pizza had gone hard, one pizza was also stuck to the top of the box. Very disappointing

Pizza was great could've done with being a bit hotter, still gid tho

I ordered at 5pm got delivered 7.20 pm

Will order again thank you, my daughter’s 13th birthday party was saved when Asda failed to deliver the pizzas I ordered! I didn’t know the pizza dem existed but I do now so will use again x

Deliberately ordered early as it’s normally a bit late. Driver is very nice and polite though.

On a good day the pizza is brilliant but sadly last night it was so thick and chewy even though I left a note to make sure the base was really thin. We've spent a small fortune here but tbh it's too hit and miss lately.

Pizza was 15 mins late, but honestly I expected that. It’s Saturday night and the pizzas delicious and piping hot. The delivery guy was a sweetheart and used to our dog going nuts smelling the PIZZZAAA 🐶. Thank you

Food was ready fast but pizza wasnt the best. It was very chewy and the tomato sauce was very bitter tasting. My partners pizza was loaded with toppings but still weirdly lacked flavour. Sad because I don’t order here very often but the food has always been fab previously! Maybe just a bad batch this weekend.

The pizza was good. It having to wait two and a half hours (to be told when I called two hours after order it was just being processed) for delivery is ridiculous. Two hours for my order to even be processed is not ok.

The pizza arrived an hour after the delivery time. It was burnt, with the wrong toppings. Very disappointed as the pizzas have always been good before.

Absolutely incredible pizza. I used to order from the pizza den over 20 years ago (back when BlockBuster was in business) and it tastes just like when I was a kid. It’s leagues above the pizza you can get in town. Highly recommended.

It’s a small local business. It’s not fancy or spectacular when collecting. However the pizzas are probably the best I’ve had.

Not been to Pizza Den for a few years so wasn’t sure what to expect but I was definitely not disappointed! Pizza was lovely, chips nice and crispy and the delivery was super quick!

We ordered a 16in seafood pizza. It was still hot on delivery & was delicious. One thing let it down & that was some of the seafood came out of jars as you could still taste the vinegar. Prawns were fresh though. So maybe something to think of for the future.

Pizza was good, but I've had better in the area. The main issue is that it took 2 hours to be delivered. I won't be ordering from them again.

I ordered it for 730. Delivery advised at 745. Came after 830. Sadly cold vege pizza. I tried to complain on just eat website and the link doesn’t work. I’ll be cooking myself from now on. Really disappointed as we’ve been using Pizza Den for years.

Terrible service, phoned to enquire why 2 hrs late, guy on the phone extremely rude, bad service all round and pizza still hasn't arrived..never again!

Most of it went in the bin , it was awful

On the whole, the food was alright but the garlic bread was AWFUL; it was over-cooked, the garlic paste(???) they had on it was sour and unevenly distributed and it wasn’t even cut properly. All in all, it was atrocious and the reason it was finished was due to us pouring lots of other seasoning on it and getting other people to try it </3

Had a pizza last week that may have been the best pizza I've ever had. Only ever had good experiences from Pizza Den.

Nice place to get a pizza service was quick the shop has just launched there own app it only took us a few mins to sign up and pay for it and its cheaper than using just eat app (if you do go to the shop its cash only if you want to order without using the app)

Not a fault of the take away as just eat stated 50 minutes for our order to be delivered, as soon as order the was confirmed, this changed. I think just eat needs to have better communication with restaurants and takeaways to give people realistic expectations regarding delivery times. Called the take away and the staff were friendly and reassured me when our order would be delivered and it was. Cannot fault the food as it was hot and excellent quality.

I deliberately order early as sadly they’re always late. Just eat require early payment. What if you don’t want it, if it’s late ?

Pizza and chips were bang on, no complaints.

Pizzas are always amazing and so are chips, only complaint is that they have us ham instead of garlic sausage and missed the tomato off the other pizza which we had paid extra for.
