Only issue is the size of the function suite. Says seats 40. Only if your sitting on each other's laps. The staff are brilliant. Really good prices. Amazing atmosphere.

Friendly . Quiet place to have a drink

Great pub just at top of Strathmartine Road. Great for football very close to both stadiums . Or a great pub to start at for the famous dundee tap o the hill pub crawl

Visited for an after match pint and to see how the new management were doing. Shouldn't have bothered, a lady drinker sitting at the end of the bar was so loud I could see I wasn't going to have a quiet pint, she maybe put others off as there was only six others in the bar. I'll try it again as the staff were nice and the service was good, but please ask her to keep it down.

Local pub with regulars in and out. Good man pub with excellent host on Sunday evenings.

This place was my local for years. The crowd are mainly regulars and easy to get along with. The pints are mostly perfect. Bar staff are very nice. Always sports on and the decor is regularly refreshed.
