The Fig Tree Bar and Kitchen in Northampton

A warm welcome, very friendly service, good food and a pleasant and relaxed environment. We were dining as a couple but this restaurant would be great for groups.

Please visit The Figtree in Dallington! It is such a lovely setting for a delicious and reasonably priced meal. The only downside being that you will have food envy no matter what you choose because the food is amazing! We have always found Maria and the team to be very accommodating for families with children too and have recently visited with our NCT group- 14 mums and dads as well as babies and prams and nothing was too much trouble for them. There is a more formal restaurant area as well as an area with sofas and even an open cosy fire. Whether you drop in for a cuppa and a cake, sit down for lunch with friends or swing by for date night you honestly won't regret it! They have vegan options too and were able to offer my dairy free friend oat milk and dairy free ice cream too. You can also hire the space for functions such as christenings too! Next time you're wondering where to go or want something new, give them a go 💜

Me and my partner came for an autumn meal, service was amazing, compliments to the chef and all the staff! We tried the new brisket of beef, both agreed was one of the best we’ve had.

Visited with friends two of whom have special dietary requirements for health reasons, restaurant refused to swap items for something else they serve the price difference would have been no different. Very inconsiderate even Wetherspoon are happy to swap for dietary requirements extremely disappointed that this restaurant has no concerns for people’s health!!

Went for a roast dinner at the Fig tree today and it was incredible. The food was perfectly cooked and really good portion sizes. Maria was also very accommodating. I would recommend anyone to go for food here and I will most certainly be returning.

Visited the Fig tree for a special occasion the staff couldn’t do enough for us, welcomed and friendly and saw to every need. Lovely warm atmosphere and beautifully decorated food was amazing with plenty to go round and more Definitely worth a visit for a cup of tea or lunch. You will not be disappointed one happy customer will be returning for sure.

We went for an evening meal and as soon as you walk in you notice how light and airy it is. We had a very warm welcome and were served our drinks quickly. The food was presented beautifully and tasted lovely. The burger was cooked to perfection and the chips were delicious. The staff were very friendly and efficient. We happened to be there when it was the birthday of another party who were dining there who let us join in their celebrations and the atmosphere was brilliant and the cake that chef made was delicious. Will definitely be back.

This is based within Dallington Health Club and the refurb looks great. We were greeted by our server who made sure we had drinks very quickly. The menu is not too fussy and the chef is open to mixing things up which is great. My Husband opted for the Kangaroo burger and I had a chicken burger. Both came out beautifully presented and really tasty. I have given this 4 stars but if there was one thing that wasn't great was the chips were quite fatty. We did not opt for a pudding as were were so full. It's a lovely and open atmosphere and children are also welcome. We shall definitely be returning.

Wow. If you haven't been, you really should try it. The food was amazing, can't believe I haven't been before. Maria who served us was lovely and the restaurant itself is stunning. We all enjoyed it so much, we've booked to come back and I can see this being my new favourite place to eat in northampton

We visited this evening as it was a lovely sunny evening we sat outside which felt relaxed and peaceful. The lady who served us was extremely friendly and flexible as we visited with our baby and she adapted to our needs. The food was tasty, highly recommend. Cannot wait to revisit and dine inside.

Absolutely amazing food and service tonight! Very reasonably priced and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The kangaroo burger was the highlight of the meal although it was all very tasty and beautifully presented. Would highly recommend to anyone to get booked in if you haven’t been before, we will 100% be back again!
