bit disappointing curry didn't taste very good

Placed order at 8.45 and was told delivery wouldn't be until 9.45. After phoning at 10.00 I was told the delivery left 25 minutes ago (I live just over a mile from the Everest so this was a strange response). The food was freezing on arrival. Phoned the restaurant to tell them this and was just explained "sorry it's a Saturday and we are busy" Asked them to send out another meal which they agreed to, however this did not show up. Not only have we received a late freezing cold meal, but we have also been lied to.

Llamamos a protestar y educadamente tuvimos que pedir a otra comida será enviado. Acordaron enviar otra comida, pero este nunca llegó. Peor llevar en Belfast. Evitar! Caro, frío, servicio tarde y terrible.

Fuimos el viernes por la noche, el restaurante vacío. Comida realmente decepcionante. No hay carne salsa todos. Nam pan finas y duras. Jalfrezi suave, como un Korma. Realmente decepcionado. Sin duda bypass este restaurante!

He revisado anteriormente en este restaurante de 5 estrellas, pero algo ha cambiado. La calidad de la comida dejó enormemente. menos conocer en las porciones, más grasas, y no tan sabroso como antes. . . Después de ser un cliente habitual desde hace un par de años, creo que es tiempo para un cambio. . . .

First time ordering from here and I'll definitely be ordering again, the lamb was so soft , everything was delicious , but expensive but worth it for the taste!

Visité hace más de un año y encontramos que eran los únicos "sentarse en "clientes (aunque el llevar el comercio parecía próspera), la decoración estaba en un estado no finalizado, pero la comida era muy sabrosa. Nos quedamos impresionados por la comida y destinada a volver. Nos las arreglamos para volver recientemente y me pareció que había cambiado en algunos aspectos. Nos sigue siendo el único "sentarse en "clientes. Había algunos clientes pero menos llevar a cabo que en nuestra última visita. La decoración ya no es incompleto pero es bastante soso. La comida es ahora básica india. Las verduras pakoras eran muy agradables, pero los platos principales no eran nada especial. Refrescos disponibles (pero había botellas de bebidas alcohólicas en la pantalla! ). La camarera era muy agradable. Con comida básica y no un ambiente real dudo que habrá una tercera visita.

Starters were much greasier than I've experienced before, which made them inedible, and extremely expensive at £9.95 for 2 small samosas, 2 pakora & 4 small onion bhaji (similar to the ones found in Tescos 25 piece party box for £3.99!!). The main dishes were almost identical except that the Parthia tasted slightly sweeter, but both way hotter than expected. Also the menu did not make it clear that the curries included rice, so we bought a third rice (2 of which ended up being wasted). Both naan breads were lovely however and would order just these alone with maybe one of the curries in the future...

I ordered this on Saturday the 6th of May Ordered Chicken wings and got chicken kickers from dominoes??? If I had wanted dominoes chicken kickers I would have ordered them from dominoes. Also having been ordering from these guys every Saturday for the last 5 weeks. Each week less and less seemed to come. Usual salads and dips. And eventually none. Fair to say I am not happy with my last experience.

No tengo ni idea de cómo este lugar ha dado tan buenas críticas! ! Es terrible. Soy un indio y que cocinar comida india y tengo comida hindú y tomar mi palabra. . Horrible! ! Sólo uno de los dueños de la India sub continente chefs mill que dice él cocina hindú. No hay término llamado balti en India, excepto por ser una traducción literal de la palabra cubo! Y dice Fusión India y Nepal no hay libreta en el menú? ? ? Estáis de broma? Todos estos establecimientos, que hasta porque maltrata vapores comida india. Este no es auténtica comida hindú. Período.

Usually im waiting at the door with anticipation this is a meal i love (punjabi masala) and usually its gorgeous, tonight it was off in colour and taste, it was so bland, the chicken was dry, the chips were overdone, the bajhi, pakora, and lakali all bland and rubbery. I was quite disappointed this time around, really not like everest to give such a disappointing meal.

Went to collect food at time specified but had to wait a further 20 mins - total of 1 hour after ordering. Food wasn't great. Naan bread burnt & we were given wrong dips. Disappointed overall.

Very good selection of food that is a bit different from the standard Indian fare. Not licenced so bring your own for a small corkage fee.

Me recogió una realizar para mi hija, no podía creer lo que cobran por las comidas muy básico con unos trozos de pollo en cada plato, por ejemplo, Pollo Tikka (Principal) por 10 libras. 95 Tandoori Lamb £12. 95 Pollo al Curry £9. 95 a continuación, añadir el arroz arroz hervido£1. One of the best curries I have ever tasted. Delivered 35 minutes before estimated delivery time, delivery driver was lovely and I got extras thrown in for free. Think I've found my new favourite takeaway in Belfast. Thank you!! :-)

Fuimos al Everest para mi cumpleaños (lo escogí). Ha sido completamente renovado para que sea abierto y luminoso. Tiene un menú nuevo. Mis hijas preguntó si podrían hacer un entrante solían llegar allí ya que no estaba en el menú nuevo. El personal organizado para ser cocinada. Como mi esposa y mis hijas son vegetarianos nos preguntaron si algunos de los platos puede ser modificado para ellos, no es un problema. Todos nos lo pasamos excelente entrantes y cuando llegó la hora de los platos principales fueron todo lo que esperábamos. Todo era de primera clase, con un montón de comida. El personal no podía hacer más que suficiente. Pedí Platos de Nepal y parecieron picante y sabrosa. Volveré a esta nueva versión del restaurante. Aún así, en mi opinión uno de los mejores

Only place i know does a really nice punjabi masala and the portions are quite generous

The korma and madras were delicious and hot but all the sides were cold, we had to microwave the rice, bhajis and pakora. Portions were very generous and we will order again but were disappointed that we had to microwave.

Best Indian about, lamb falls apart. Pilau rice is included with main course. Really quick delivery

Very expensive...more expensive than the menu we had...as I phoned to ask why it was so much..the food was below average...the order was incorrect too, it's under new management apparently...doubt it will last very long...certainly won't be ordering again....

Family of 5 ordered from here this month and I wasnt impressed. Delivery was an hour (which i understand for indian food it is generally longer but not this long) it came to over £40 for 3 mains with 3 rices, 2 naans and a palunga aloo. Very expensive for what we got compared to other indians we get regularly. Korma tasted a bit like a supermarket version. The bhuna was very hot as was the palungo aloo which we knew they had a bit of a kick but not expecting as much as it did. The rice and naans were lovely. The popadoms werent great and no dips were provided and with other restaurants they usually are. Would eat from here again if i had too but nicer restaurants in the area.

Followed my order online, only to see they put my delivery back 5 minutes until 20.35. 10 mins went by, 20.45, I phoned the restaurant to explain and I was me with "sorry but we're really busy here", was told to hang. I always get a take away from The Everest. Food is 100% delicious. Recommend to anyone. And it's so quick to be delivered. And when you get it it's hot and ready to eat. Definitely 5*

me and my partner order from here itleast once a week! great food always, there must be one particular chef though who makes the food that tiny bit better we always notice the difference now because we order so much haha! we ordered food 25/7/16 so whichever chef was on, keep doing what your doing :D

Looked over reviews, all seemed really good. Food came on time, portion size was great with chicken but hardly any prawn at all in either starter or chilli massala main. Ordered prawn puri, madras and a chilli massala, food wasnt tasty at all for an indian, all we could taste was the salt and no other flavours apart from a little tastless spice. Was left disapointed with food quality especially considering other reviews, much better indians around especially for cost

I ordered from here a few weeks back through just eat and unfortunately this take away was quite some distance from my home in dunmurry, they still made it their mission to deliver to me in quick time too...anyways when the food came, everything was there apart from the childrens meal and one side order (not through the fault of this business)...unfortunately to come back out with it was impossible as they were extremley busy and around 10miles from me....so as a goodwill gesture they offered me the kids meal and 1 main with side for free at any time i wish....i cant praise them anymore and the food is great, i think i have found myself a new indian takeaway which i will most gladly travel too...hats off

I've had a dine in meal at this restaurant and ordered for delivery multiple times. There are maybe one or two places I've consistently ordered from that don't seem to sacrifice the quality of their food for profit. Ordered the vegetable kebab on naan last night, it arrived within 15 minutes and was restaurant quality. Unbelievable.

Best Indian food around the staff are nice and friendly the food portions are big it's defo value for money x try this place and you will be shocked the food amazing and there is a car park behind and this place does take away to defo be back x

Girl Mary was lovely with dealing with my complaint said she would have to speak to the owner. However I paid for something and I did not get what I paid for in many ways. Not asked to bring meal back, or refunded. We ordered course meal for 2, I also added two spicy popadoms. Lamb in the lamb balti was not cooked, the peppers where sour and it was full of salt. Garlic nan was an extra £1.00 and it was burnt. Chicken tikka Masala was ok, however lacked the flavour as usual. The two popadom which I paid for where burnt!!!!' Like black burnt. The starters where also horrendous!!!!!I'm not one for complaining usually but this is most deff my worst experience of a take away.

Meat was tough and rice was under cooked. Highly disappointing.

After waiting 1 hours 30 mins for our food we get a call to say "cant find the address" even though it wasn't anymore than 3 miles from the place.2 hours later food was throw at us ,stone cold.The veggie curry which was meant to be "Hot" in spice was like cream with whats looked like a tin of veg thrown in rather than "seasonal veg" which as it was described .If it wasn't pre-paid i would have told them where to go absolutely appalling.Never ordering from this place again .

Very tasty food. Good choice of Nepalese and the usual Indian dishes.Visited on a Monday, arriving around 7pm and leaving around 8.15pm. During our time there we were the only customers in the restaurant itself, but the takeaway trade seemed to be doing well.Decor not yet up to scratch eg the dividing wall beside us was yet to be finished properly. The staff member was pleasant and attentive. Toilets were impressively clean.The prices in the Everest are about average for Belfast. However, in my experience the prices in Indian restaurants in Belfast are higher than those in many parts of England. We expect to return in a few months and if a) the food is of the same excellent standard and b) the decor has been "sorted" then I expect 5 rather than 4 stars.Worth a visit.

Awful! Food was marked as delivered around 1 hr and 15 minutes after we ordered it and took a further half an hour and a couple of phone calls for it to actually be delivered. The restaurant had no idea what was going on and tried to blame the weather (we live around 200 meters from the restaurant and only ordered for delivery so we could get the kids to bed). When the food arrived it was tepid and not the high quality we used to get from them. Won't be bothering again.

Absolutely beautiful, really hard to find a great curry but this is definitely one of the tastiest!!!

My wife and I had dinner there last night, brief night off from the kids. Food was lovely, quiet atmosphere. Fantastic staff. We had a sick baby and had to cut short our stay. Our waitress said she would bag up the rest of our meal to take home. I returned to pick up our doggy bag.............they only went and made us fresh main courses to take home. Such a kind gesture. Definitely will be returning with service like that!

I go here the odd time for take away.Usually good, but often wait a while for food. One occasion was 50 minutes waiting in the shop for take away.Staff very pleasant and accomodating.Taste and flavour good. Sometimes meat portion is unsatisfactory.
