The East End Fox in Glasgow City

Brilliant time at the recent East End Fox's Disney Princess Day. The little princesses where absolutely mesmerised by the entertainers Aurora & Belle who where fantastic and had the kids loving it from the start with their brilliant singing and dancing. Great atmosphere and everyone was made to feel part of the day. Food was also delicious as usual, roast chicken cooked to perfection with all the trimmings....special shout out for the gravy 😋 Well done to Keith and his team for putting on a brilliant event👏👏

Spring rolls, haggis Bon Bon’s, roast chicken. Nice food, service pretty friendly, only thing harder was parking.

Update 13/10/24 We have now been back to the East End Fox several times. We were there today for Sunday lunch. Again fabulous service, great food and lovely staff. Thank you to all staff who make this place special. Shout out to Keith for superb management. This was our first time visiting The East End Fox and it was absolutely fabulous. We had booked a table and we were greeted at the entrance and shown to our table. Service was excellent Food was delicious Good atmosphere and comfortable surroundings. Will definitely be returning.

Excellent food - only slight complaint was that portions a little on the small side

Been going to the Fox since it opened and always enjoy going. This weekend we attended an Abba brunch, it was fabulous, lovely food great entertainment and my guest had a great day. Thanks again Keith and the team for brightening up our Sunday.

Great event on Sunday with Odeyssa for an Abba day! Really good service all day with cocktails provided as part of the package. The food was great and plenty for everyone at the table. Always a good atmosphere and time had at the fox with all staff members being really accommodating and nice!

Garlic bread was nice a little well done for my liking but hey honthats the way it goes sometimes. However wasn't my first time in this place nd foods been decent in past however tonight I found the wait for starters very long when asked was told theh where busier but table who came in after us got their mains before we had starters strange. My mac and cheese came was tasteless tried adding salt wasn't very nice at all was really disappointed. The foods we'll over priced for the quality tbf

The staff were amazing. Couldn’t be more helpful, inside is lovely, however the menu is limited. We had fussy eaters here who asked for things from the kids menu but in adult sizes which seemed a hassle so we asked if we could just have the kids portion to save the hassle which then seemed to cause more of a hassle. However we ordered chicken strips and chips. £15 for 3 tiny chicken strips and skinny fries. £15 is slightly over priced. The other was a steak which was the wrong steak charged £19 (steak was chewy) in the words of person who ate it. We were also told they will do us chicken strips this one time but it takes too much time up in the fryers. As I said staff were amazing and lovely. 5* food was 2* prices well they were over priced for what you got.

Amazing night with friends here tonight. All of the food was delicious, with an excellent selection of drinks too. The staff could not have been more attentive, great atmosphere. I'm already looking forward to my next meal here 😋 I'll be working my way through the menu, quality of food was fantastic!

Had lunch yesterday with two friends on my friend who lives locally recommendation, two of us had the black pudding bon bons & my other friend had the haggis, neeps & tatties - beautifully presented & delicious! I had thd beef olives as did my friend & my other friend had the fajita wrap - the beef olives, mash & root vegetables with the herb gravy was to die for! I could have drank the gravy! 🤣 definitely won't be my last visit & will highly recommend to everyone going through to Glasgow! Lovely staff & service too & such a lovely pub, love the neon sign in the loo! 🦊

My first visit to East End Fox , I had a lovely bowl of tomato & basil soup followed by beautiful fillet steak, rounded off with some ice cream, not my last visit, I may add, 😋

The food is delicious, the staff are always so accommodating and great service, Gillian always greets you with a smile, she is so friendly and great with the kids. It really is a nice family atmosphere but caters to everyone and food never disappoints.

Was here after a funeral food was as to be expected sandwiches and sausage rolls very nice staff were lovely

A truly fabulous restaurant that is family-friendly with a menu to suit all. We loved the atmosphere in here and found the staff to be so friendly and helpful. We visited on a Sunday and enjoyed the Sunday roast so much, I’d say it is the best we have had in Scotland. The beef roast was melt in your mouth and the portion sizes are really generous! We will definitely be back again! We also ordered some starters which were delicious and I had the sticky toffee pudding to for dessert, which wasn’t too sweet and just perfectly soft. All in all, we loved our Sunday dinner here and highly recommend it to all. A must visit!

Went for a nice lunch with my husband. We both had 2 courses which were delicious, served quickly. Staff friendly & very helpful tending to our needs. Will definately be back.

I had my sons 21st birthday party on Saturday 6/7/24 l can’t thank Max enough for her help from start to finish of organising the surprise party.she was very supportive and communicated with me leading up to the party which made me feel valued. The staff were very helpful and friendly nothing was a bother the atmosphere was amazing and the food was absolutely exceptional well done to everyone who made sure my sons party was a success.if you are ever wanting somewhere to have a party l would highly recommend this place you will not be disappointed.One happy mum ❤️And a very shocked son 😂

This is something which was needed in the East End, so I’m enjoying having it within walking distance. It’s cosy, comfy and nice to spend time in. The service is always wonderful. Our giant dog always gets a lovely welcome - a scritch and a bowl of water. (Please enjoy the photos of my dog - the only ones I seem to take here.) The food doesn’t blow my mind but it’s good enough - the burgers aren’t amazing but the mushroom soup is some of the best I’ve ever had.

Really top notch pub grub. Looks great inside too, very cool and cosy.

Have been a few times now. Food is always great! Staff are always super friendly and accommodating. Recommend booking ahead as can be busy. Smashing cocktails 😉.

chateaux Briand for two on a Friday! Second time we've been here for this Friday treat! food was well cooked, steak was as requested "Medium" never took the Mac n cheese but requested a side salad..."wine should always be opened at your table" not delivered pre opened...also card machine was not working!! so I transferred money directly to a staff member..

Sunday lunch menu, 2 courses for 24.95 per person. Also the steak was super succulent and really well cooked! Chicken satay burger was good. Atmosphere was relaxed for a Sunday afternoon and staff super friendly. French espresso Martini tasted a bit odd but other cocktails were good

Had our baby shower here and it was fantastic , the pub is beautiful family and friends loved this pub and the interior and were full of compliments. Staff were friendly and gave 5 star service. Food was hot and fresh everyone loved it ,don't think they were any leftovers we had a buffet made for us .....delicious. I would recommend this pub for future parties as they are very attentive and will do everything to accommodate you. Couldn't rate it high enough! Made our day we felt loved couldn't be happier.

Spent a very enjoyable Sunday afternoon here, great food, excellent staff and a very safe, happy environment. Used the 25% discount card to good effect. Will definitely be back!

We booked for lunch as we had a gift voucher to use. On realising the voucher was a month out of date I spoke to the manager who was happy to let us use it. The staff were lovely and attentive without overdoing it. The atmosphere was great and very busy. The food was delicious. I had the spring rolls to start, fish and chips for main and the cost was reasonable at £22.50 I would definitely recommend The East End Fox as we have never been disappointed. I would also advise booking as we did see a few people had to be turned away as they hadn’t booked.

Poor performance from the team missed our order and had to wait more than an hour for our starters never mind messing up the mains, will put it down to having a bad day at the office

Had a voucher to use.. waited 35 mins to get starters then 45 mins to get main course. Will we be back not sure may try a lunch time. Really not rushing back anytime soon

First time visit for a birthday lunch. The food was excellent and the staff friendly and attentive . Would highly recommend to others and I will certainly be returning .Thank you.

Ok so this was the first time i have eaten in this restaurant. We came over from Fife to meet family. I will never go back. The lovely meal has left a real bad taste in my mouth. After the meal for 6 i paid the bill of £205. When i got home i looked at the receipt only to discover i had been charged for a pint guinness 2 x absolute vodkas and a dash. I was also charged £18.70 for service charge even though i said no to this on the keypad and gave our lovely waiter £10 cash. I phoned them and they apologised and said they would refund to my card. How many people actually check their receipts. Well there is a lesson to learn from this. Always check your receipt. I still cant quite believe the audacity of the people running this pub. Beyond disappointed.

Food is delicious..wee bit like town prices for alcohol

Four of us all thought the food was great. Our server was very good, attentive and polite. Good selection of drinks and food all served in really nice surroundings with a good atmosphere. A little quiet but it was during the week.

Recently popped in for some food. Lovely atmosphere, the staff were really friendly and the food was lovely.

Had lunch a few weeks ago. Pub was cold and kept jacket on. Food was ok. Portion size not great.

Ferrier Keith and Maxine (co-ordinator) and all the staff at the East End Fox, on behalf of the Clocherty family - we would like to take this opportunity to a say a massive thank you for allowing us to say a beautiful farewell to our lovely mum on the day of her funeral. Maxine was so helpful and accommodating, nothing seemed too much bother in our special requests ( and we had a few ). The food was fantastic, thank you chef. All the different dietary requirements were taken care of without a glitch. We were allowed exclusive access to the restaurant and snug for the large amount of family and friends celebrating our mums life. The day went beautiful on the most emotional day of our lives. We would not hesitate In recommeding the East End Fox to anyone considering a farewell the their love ones. Thank you Ferrier and your amazing team.

This was my first time visiting the, East end fox bar, and it was very warm and friendly, staff were amazing

We were at the East End Fox on Wednesday night the 27th of December. We have been several times before and the food and service was great. Unfortunately on this occasion when we arrived the table was set for four when it was booked for six. Not a huge problem and the starters were lovely. However when it came to the main course, only four meals arrived. When asked why it was taking so long for the last two meals to come out we were told that the order had been chopped off at the bottem. When they finally arrived, the chicken was undercooked and we really had to press the waitress to take it back. On receiving the bill, we noticed and extra 2 bottles of wine had been added. We ordered two and were being charged for four. It was rectified quickly but overall our experience was very disappointing. Considering how impressed we had been in the past, we were very surprised and disappointed. Just hoping it was a bad night and not standards slipping.

Really excellent pub with a good choice of beer on tap and very good food. The real highlight however is the staff. They are really attentive and friendly and make the east end fox a must visit.

I love this place. Good is amazing. Today I had the fillet it was cooked to perfection Starter and sweet amazing too. Definitely my favourite restaurant

Tonight, we dined at The East End Fox for the first time. It was my mother's 82nd birthday, and she loved the whole experience. The food was outstanding, and the service from Gillian was first class. What a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. We will certainly be back. Thank you.

1st and not our last visit..An absolute delight 😋 Fab food..Delicious cocktails.... And service from Gillian was friendly and efficient. Highly recommended food is the haggis neeps and tatties and the scallops..Delicious and beautifully presented. And the frozen passionfruit martini was excellent 👌 👍 👏.

This is my absolute favourite restaurant - food is unbeatable, presentation perfect, staff brilliant and atmosphere is cosy. They’ve done a great job here and it really is a jewel of a place.

Great place for a family meal. Food was excellent, service was good but not great. It was a busy Saturday night and giving the benefit of the doubt i think they may have been short staffed.

Had the Korean chicken wings, fish and chips, and stick toffee pudding. Food and drinks were all lovely, service was fast and friendly. Wee bit more expensive than the other local restaurants however quality of food and the staff make it more than worth it in my opinion. Will be back for that stick toffee sauce again.

I would just like to say thank you to everyone at the East End Fox for a such an amazing baby shower yesterday. You had your hands full with the Ladies Drag Queen Lunch yet still were able to give us the most amazing day without any issues at all. So many of my guests complimented the venue and the food which was outstanding. The staff were all so accommodating, friendly and approachable with nothing being a bother. Lastly thank you to the drag act who kindly wished us a great time and got involved with out guests which is something they didn't need to do but was very much enjoyable. They were kind enough for us to take some photos and several of the guests have booked for their next visit, I hope to as well. So if anyone is thinking of booking a baby shower or any event at all you will not be let down at this amazing venue and team. Thank you from us all 🥰

I was here with family for dinner and some drinks and the whole experience was 10/10. The food was sensational & the service was excellent. Not once did I feel like just another customer. Instead we were treated like family as such. No mistakes in our orders whatsoever & food came out quickly and was delicious. Can’t wait to be back guys. Thanks again

Lovely friendly hard working staff that go over and above to ensure your experience is great. The table service was great 👍🏻 We came for a family meal and had the soft shell crab to start. Our bread arrived at the table nice and warm, loved that. Portions and big and filling. The pub has a really nice vibe. We love it here will be back.

I was there for dinner and drinks with friends on Saturday and it was excellent . Staff were very welcoming and Keith went above and beyond to ensure we were topped up and that the food was great. Maxine was excellent too. We will be sure to return. The range of cocktails was very good and extremely tasty

Can't thank The East End Fox enough for a fabulous night last Saturday. We had exclusive use of The Snug to celebrate our son's marriage, which took place in China during covid in 2020. Him and his lovely wife were here for a visit; the first in 4 years! All staff were exceptionally helpful and kind, particularly Maxine, who went above, and beyond. Buffet was lovely and catered for all, including vegan. We received lots of messages from guests thanking us for such a great night but all credit must go to The East End Fox. We would highly recommend for any celebration. Thanks a million, guys, a night to remember indeed.

We had Sunday lunch for my mums birthday, all the kids & adults loved it, from booking to sitting down at the table was very easy plus I changed the time & it was no problem for them to do that. The staff were very attentive & our waitress kept checking in on us throughout our beautiful meal, we had an array of different foods from the soft crab to roast dinners & everything was so tasty & fresh! Keith the manager even made an effort to come over & make sure we were all happy & took a few minutes out of his busy day to have a chat which was nice! 💯 highly recommend if you haven’t been & we will all definitely be back 😍 well done team Fox 10 out of 10 from us 😍😍

Went to a party. This is the first time I've been here. The staff are very friendly and efficient. The bar is well stocked with a good variety of gin (my favourite) . The decor and layout very relaxing. All in all, a very pleasant place to go and if in the area I definitely will visit again.

I've been in before and the food was delicious. Sad to say we were in last night and the food was not great. The chicken was burnt to a crisp on both our dinners, really could not eat parts of it. The service was really poor. My partner ended up feeling ill last night with an upset stomach which I can only assume was due to the food he ate 😕. At £70 its not cheap! Sadly, won't be back.

Great bar and food. Peri peri chicken delicious, nice spice. Proper onion rings in light batter. Friendly and attentive staff. Well worth a visit.

Think it's sneaky putting the service charge on the bill. As I was with pensioners,who perhaps wouldn't have noticed and didn't find mention on the menu. Service charge should not be on the bill but should be up to the customer, not a flat 10%. Will be going elsewhere in future.

Really nice spot. Fabulously decorated with classic, comfortable traditional pub decor. Stars deducted because of the excruciatingly bad, praying to god it will stop, ear bleeding awful music the DJ was playing on Saturday night.

Just had the most fantastic meal at our new local The East End Fox!! It was group of friends getting together for a charity day and the food did not disappoint!! We all had Foxies fave Spring Rolls with Sweet Chilli sauce then Jonnys Piri Piri Burger with skinny fries finished off with Poached Peach 🍑 just stunning!! Ferrier and Team Fox took great care of us!! I would highly recommend 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Beautiful food , nice surroundings

We come here regularly as the food is amazing and the staff are so friendly. We decided to come here for my daughters confirmation dinner. The place was set up with decorations, sweets and cakes. Max really went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. One of our favourite places to go.

Lovely decor, food great, decent prices

Our first time here we enjoyed the experience. Food excellent, customer service first class, lovely interior and design they have entertainment events and are involved in the local community, which is good to see as well. A welcoming establishment for all the family. An asset to the East End, which transformed this part of Glasgow.
