I like the bar, but I left a set of Bose headphones here, they had them when I called, I went in to get them and they could not find them. I called them back a few times to see if they found them, they had my number and never got back to me. These headphones still sell for up to £100 second hand despite being years old or refurbished.

Been going going here a lot over the years to see bands downstairs. Last time there I noticed a sign at the bar saying there was now a "discretionary" service charge being added to your bill, but didn't say how much it was? Oh and just below the sign was a tips jar! When you're at a gig here it is so difficult getting served, that if you asked them to take off the "discretionary" service charge, you'd find the discretionary service from that point on would mean you'd struggle to get a drink, so not really discretionary for a customers point of view. So what is the service? Serving me at the bar? Isn't that their job? Why not just pay them the right amount for the job instead of adding a "discretionary" service charge to your customers? Fortunately the bands I catch here are nearly all on in other places in the city, so I won't need to entertain this imposition.

We hired a private dining room for my husband’s surprise 60th birthday . There were twenty people for a three course meal and the staff and service was amazing . The room and table was decorated beautifully and the staff could not do enough for us . Everybody’s order was spot on and came quickly. I would definitely recommend Don Mor private dining and we can’t thank the staff enough for their help and attention to make my husband night special.

IMPORTANT: When eating here, you are asked to pay at least an extra 10% extra, just for the service. Tipping is NOT mandatory in Scotland. Overall, it feels expensive for what you're getting. Dessert delicious. Burger was good, but pricey. Starter was ice cold and lacked salt. Good place for a pint in a lively atmosphere, but less so if you want something quiet.

I was assaulted by one of their bouncers in 2023 whilst trying to desecalated his curb-stomping of a drunk non-threatening patron and when I tried to make a complaint they put me in touch with the head bouncer that defended and enabled such disgusting behaviour. Was shamed into not making a complaint until now even though I still bear the scars of his assault. Disgusting behaviour that totally soured my love of what should be a great venue for emerging theatre artists

Honestly, this is our best experience in Glasgow. We stumbled upon this theatre before their 1pm "A play, a pie, a pint" show and we decided to watch it. Very worth it! £18.50 for a 1h show with a meat pie and a pint of beer. After that, we had a post meal - they have a promo set of £18 for an appetizer and a main. We had a cullen skink and a fish and chips for that price (a really value deal). Highly recommend to book tix before 12pm before sold out.

Recently had our wedding meal in the beautiful private dining room. Bar and serving staff were excellent. Food and table set up lovely. However we left with a bad taste in our mouth, we had some beers left over which were reclaimed(never fully explained why). One of our guest suffered a sudden loss of his 23 year old cousin, it was suggested that it may be possible to put the money we paid for him behind the bar. This would’ve been a lovely gesture and excellent customer service, instead we waited a month to hear a final decision that this was against company policy. No explanation for the reclaimed beers was given. We were informed that the staff had been re trained to communicate “policy” or offer the food that has been paid for. Meant very little to us tainting our experience at the end of our wedding day.

Summer panto a A Play, a Pie and a Pint. Oran Mor itself is great, good atmosphere, nice staff etc. Panto seating is neat, to say the least, little space to move, and difficult if someone tall is sitting in front of you. Definitely not disabled friendly. Panto was okay - last year (2023) was hilarious as have previous years been but Christmas '23 and 2024 Summer Panto less so. No reflection on the cast who were good, just scripts that need a bit more work and less of the same old, same old. I'll still return for Christmas '24 and hope the magic returns.

6/24 Discovered this unusual place during our stay in Glasgow. It's essentially a pub in a converted church but they run "A Play, A Pie and A Pint". In what I assume is the old crypt, you get a scotch pie (obviously!), a pint and an hour long play, which changes regularly throughout the season. Different and very enjoyable! The ground floor pub also has great decor and a good range of beers and whiskies.
