Visited here this morning for the first time have to say will not be the last time everyone was so great serivice was exceptional Caitlin our server was great running through the menu and jazz made the best peppermint tea I've ever had ...we were well looked after by Josephine too the attention to detail and service cannot be any better. Now I don't know the name of the owners or chef but you guys need to ve commended for the quality of the food that you serve here breakfast anf biscoff cake i had was amazing and perfectly presented I'll be coming back soon for sure you will see me again soon and please keep doing what your doing as its in my opion the best in sheffield. I go here very often and im always greeted with the same friendly attitude ,the staff come to you as soon as they see you and offer menus and drinks, food is always delicious ,sometimes i will go in just for a cup of tea because of the service and atmosphere

We popped into Delightful Touch after a Sunday stroll through the park and absolutely loved it. The atmosphere is chill and welcoming, the staff are super friendly and helpful, and the food and drinks were incredibly delicious (we ordered the French Toast, Italian Melt, a Chai tea and a filter coffee). We even got a little sample of their carrot cake while waiting for our meals which we will definitely be going back for! Love to see local business thriving and will definitely be making this a regular spot 🤩

Had a lovely brunch! The service was excellent from the whole staff and the sandwich I had was maybe the best sandwich I've had anywhere in the city. Can't wait to go back and have some of the carrot cake!

I popped in with my elderly mum recently, I'd been previously but this time we dined in. My mum has mobility issues, so the ladies were extremely helpful in assisting getting her to a table. It's a lovely place, they had a good selection of items on the menu & board, & some delicious looking cakes on the counter. I just ordered a starter of potato wedges & mum had a cream cheese bagel with salmon. We didn't have to wait long, & both items were delicious. The chef came out to ensure all was ok. It was! I am local to Hillsborough & love to see local businesses doing well. The Delightful Touch is a lovely place with a welcoming, friendly & helpful team. Excellent place, excellent service. Highly recommended. Many thanks.

I love it here! The French Toast is my fave and I’ve had delicious Eggs Benedict and various cakes. Staff are friendly and the food is high quality

Visited this café for breakfast twice now and thoroughly enjoyed each time. The full breakfast, both the vegetarian and non-vegetarian, is very good. The produce is quality and the portion size is just right. The halloumi which comes with the vegetarian breakfast is a great example of creative alternatives to the usual non-meat option.

A really lovely café, with charming staff and terrific food. We needed a dog friendly café after a rather moist walk in the park. We had not expected the food to be as lovely as it was. Loveliest cafe in Hillsborough. I had a gluten-free sandwich that was packed with fillings, very good value and quite delicious 😋 excellent coffee too, I only came in for a coffee to go, and then was tempted by the great-looking sandwiches and ended up staying for lunch! Decent selection of cakes on offer, fab staff and a relaxed atmosphere.

Quite disappointed with our first visit today. The staff didn’t seem as attentive as you’d expect with such little tables in the cafe, the food took longer than you’d expect for what we ordered. If my husband and I weren’t in a rush perhaps it wouldn’t have been such a problem. I then had to ask for cutlery, after the waiter had dropped our food off and left. Shortly after I then found a small hair in my food which I could only describe as perhaps a pet hair. The experience as a whole seemed like a let down based to lack of attentiveness. However, I did enjoy the food, and despite the hair, would have ordered again if we were to come back. Unfortunately we couldn’t help but feel forgotten about.

Lovely home made food, including a great cake selection, tasty brunch options, waffles. Good coffee too. Very welcoming & dog friendly.

Lovely cafe with a great atmosphere, and great food! We've been regulars since we moved to Hillsborough, and we cannot recommend it enough. Excellent service from the staff who are all very friendly and welcoming. They regularly have new specials to try, most recently a sweet potato and chickpea curry that is divine!

Not your usual S6 Granny cafe!! Blown away by this place - the menu is so varied Lots of home made dishes - small plates, sandwiches etc & THE most amazing Yorkshire rarebit Dog friendly Absolute gem - we’ll most certainly be back

Update: a year later I'm still here every day. Today due to a power outage there was no hot food, but as always still got some proper top quality scran. We had an absolutely gorgeous salad, coffee and cake!! 🤤 Over here almost every morning for coffee and those delicious freshly made sausage rolls! Lovely staff and atmosphere!

Lovely welcoming atmosphere. We had just tried somewhere else and felt uncomfortable so walked out. The difference walking into your cafe was massive. Great friendly and efficient service. X will be back

We called into this little gem of a cafe after visiting the park up the road. The staff were really helpful and friendly and really made you feel welcome. We had the carrot cake, it was delicious, so moist. We will definitely be going back.

Can only judge based on breakfast but definitely worth the visit, nice place, nice food, nice people. Will be back.

I am in an electric wheelchair. I came to the front door and looked in a staff member put up his hand and ran to the front door and put down a ramp to make my entry easier right there. I knew it was going to be good. That was such good attention to detail. I wasn't disappointed. The coffee was good. I had a sandwich which was very tasty, especially the side salad. Almost too much food. I will be back to try a tasty sweet treat, good service and attention to detail. Thank you

Some where a little bit different to try in Hillsborough

Another brilliant addition to the Hillsborough experience. The coffee is lovely, and the food is great. The staff were very helpful in helping me with the vegan options available, and the vegan rolls are good! My friend very much enjoyed his hog roast sausage roll too. Highly recommended! Update: my wife and I visited recently for breakfast. I had the vegan, my wife the standard full breakfast. They were very good. Definitely give the Delightful Touch a try!

The scrambled egg on toast was delicious Update: came back, had the eggs again, still delicious. (Pictured) Also had a sandwich which was also nice.

Went in on a very busy day before a gig at Hillsborough park, brilliant service, brilliant food (especially the pulled pork), would definitely recommend

Nipped in for a quick snack whilst shopping as I'd never tried this place before. Ordered an iced coffee and a piece of almond cake. I order iced coffee everywhere I go and this was up there with one of the best I've had. The venue was clean and modern looking with lots of space and a toilet. The staff were all really friendly and professional. I definitely feel inclined to return especially after seeing how many different cakes were on show behind the counter, as well as the specials board.

Really lovely Scandinavian style wooden seating - VERY COMFORTABLE. Really delicious coffee in PERFECTLY sized mugs! Shame our experience was tainted by a rude customer loudly complaining about the seats being uncomfortable and the mug handles being small. Staff dealt with it beautifully. Smokey 3 beans on toast with an egg on top was perfection. 2 young people working, both really friendly with us and our dog. Thank you for the excellent customer service as always! We LOVE it here. An S6 win!

Genuinely the best breakfast place I've ever been. Really friendly staff, and fantastic for allergies. The menu changes often, and it's all great, (even though I always have the bacon and waffles). Also the drinks, cakes and everything else is top notch!

Great place, your guilty pleasure in Hillsborough

I can only give a brief review, as came in on a quick 'mums and children' trip and only had a Hazelnut latte and a mini mince pie, the latter given by another mum. But saying 6 children and 3 mums descended, that staff were very kind and helpful. Everyone seemed to enjoy the penultimate day before 'school closes for Christmas Day' and the others go regularly so hope that is a good enough judgement.

Went here with my nearly 3 year old daughter having recently moved from Glasgow. Staff were great with her. Ordered the hendo's croquettes, ham and piccalily sandwich, chips and onion rings. Food was incredible. Fresh and perfectly seasoned and the onion rings were the best I have ever tasted!

Favourite cafe in Sheff. Staff are friendly, service is great, prices are fair, and vibe is spot on. Perfect for a bit of work, reading, or socialising.

My little boy thought we should give them 10 out of 10.

The cafe is lovely with food and drink very nice to a high standard. Decor is good and always feels very clean. Unfortunately it is massively let down by flustered staff running around at 100mph. It feels like you are rushed to order and spoken to rudely and does not give a relaxed experience. They also need to implement a more efficient payment system. I had paid for my order at the till but as I was leaving I was questioned over payment and had to prove using Internet banking that I had paid my bill. For these reasons unfortunately i will not return to this cafe.

Such a shame as a nice place but they really need to get their act together, just been in - ran out of food, toilets out of order and then went to pay for 2 teas to be charged £1.20 more than advertised on the board because they haven't got around to changing the price list, by rights I should have refused but instead we just won't return.

This coffee shop is a little gem and Hillsborough is so lucky to have it, very helpful staff [love the 3 ladies] and the food is super, eggs benedict + bacon is excellent. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

I think I give honest and fair reviews. This lovely venue is more than a cafe. It has a relaxed atmosphere, terrific decor and very attentive staff. There is a varied menu and they make as much of the food as they are able. There are many considerations for dietary needs. The coffees were really nice too. So why only four stars? It is not particularly cheap and the food was warm rather than hot. I suppose you get used to that in many other parts of Europe and maybe I should make an allowance for this. Please do try as you will not be disappointed. I had waffle, bacon and maple syrup. It may not be everyone's choice but I enjoyed it all and it was more than enough for an early lunch. It was also beautifully presented. I shall be going back as it is a nice treat. The staff make this place. Everything is done with a smile. You feel welcomed, almost like visiting a friend. Everything is, indeed, done with a delightful touch.

Called in for a takeaway coffee and wasn't disappointed. Best flat white I've had in a while and will be my go to cafe from now on I reckon. Delicious cake too. Will definitely return to try brunch type stuff. Also caters for many dietary requirements so will bring the rest of the family.

Such a lovely cafe!! Stumbled past and was drawn in by the big windows. The decor is light and friendly. The team were all so attentive. Coffee was great, and after checking the menu, I stuck around for their soup. The image speaks for itself. I didn't get the cakes, but after hearing the spruking, they're all handmade by the husband and wife owner-team. I'll be back, with eyes on the brownie. Thanks Delightful touch!
