The Deli at No.85 in Redcar and Cleveland

Extremely busy Deli. If you want to sit in and eat near lunchtime I recommend booking a table. We were told it would be half an hour to get a table on a random drop in. Usually proof food is good. We bought a couple of sandwiches to go. The y were very good. Not the cheapest but not unreasonable either for the quality of ingredients used. Highly recommend, the meat was fresh and not dry, The cheese piquant but not overwhelming. A very well put together sandwich and very tasty. I intend to try to sit down in here at some point to try the hot food options. But I definetely recommend the sandwiches and treat options.

Takeaway afternoon tea for 2, everything baked to perfection. Lovely selection of savoury and sweets, best we've had . Great service too, thankyou we thoroughly enjoyed it 😀

Good food, well presented & friendly service. Just wish there was a little more space between the tables. This is NOT a complaint as the proprietors have made the best use of space as they possibly can.

Absolutely amazing service, customer service was above and beyond, my 5 year old granddaughter is in a wheelchair and her breakfast was made especially for her, I will definitely visit again

It's easy to forget to share, though I am inclined to admit to wanting to keep Deli at 85 a secret. Consistently excellent, home-cooked food (lots of Yorkshire produce), consistently excellent service (so underrated in this country), consistently tempting goodies. Lovely people producing mouthwatering dishes for food lovers.
