Arrived waiting on able to order from lunch menu at 3.30 pm advertised to 4pm not available had to order from main menu meal what should have been budget friendly ended up costing over £60 came out cold don’t bother with the tandoori salmon and Bombay potatoes at £16 !!! Nothing like Bombay potato and my salmon no bigger than a sardine really disappointed as we had been in for lunch about a month ago and it was lovely at £7.95 each … bowls came out same size twice the price !!! Won’t be back unfortunately

Hi folks I have just had my first taste of the Crooked Glen 2.0 & I'm well impressed. Food was excellent, staff were friendly & helpful & the fire was light. The Christmas chip did exactly what it said on the tin. Good luck everyone involved in the new & very welcome addition to the Main Street. It was much needed & missed. See you soon 🍾🥂

Had a meal which all the family really enjoyed, staff were all extremely friendly. We would like in particular to thank Donna as she went above and beyond for us. When our taxi let us down she very kindly offered us lifts home to our Airbnb as we were a large family with children. (A double run!) This will not be forgotten, thank you so much Donna! Go faith maith agat!

I highly recommend for the The Crooked Glen. Lawrence was very accommodating to us visiting Canadians (from Toronto) - everything from ensuring our dinner reservations, to drink recommendations, to calling us a Taxi. We were well taken care of. As well, we meet some lovely people (who were local) & had a great chat with them. The food was fabulous and so was the service. You will not be disappointed.

Been coming here for years, place never let's us down. Super fast service from thee friendliest staff members. Good looking run on the menu & introducing new dishes frequently. Starters came out quickly even in a busy Friday evening & piping hot honey chilli chicken +cheese sticks. Mains steak cooked to perfection & the hake was so moist on a bed of creamy mash & vegetables, both delicious . Staff couldn't of done anymore. Place is always buzzing. Top class cocktails. Well done & thankyou guys

Excellent service catering to allergies, lighting the fire to keep you warm, always smiling and nothing is too much trouble. Delicious food - would not go anywhere else for lunch. Great choice, superb produce and cooked to perfection. Rhubarb and Ginger Bramble cocktails to die for. A hidden gem 💎

Have recently discovered here and enjoy just calling in for a drink but have had two meals so far and both very good and value for money. Second meal was upstairs Friday evening and lovely surroundings and good atmosphere. Staff superb.

A great place for an early evening meal. All 3 of us ordered steak, cooked in different ways and the charming waiter got it right as to whose was whose when he brought them out. The peppercorn sauce was delicious. Sadly we were so full we couldn't manage pudding!! On my next visit will try the pasta which was being eaten at the table next to ours and it looked wonderful. A great local pub which does good food, bliss.

Great service and very good food. Went here with my wife at the weekend. It was busy and we weren’t able to book a table but one of the staff said she’d get us one and after a couple of drinks we got one. Drinks are very reasonably priced compared to Belfast and we had a couple of cocktails - I really liked the Huckleberry Finn. Staff were very friendly. For starters I had Korean glazed beef which was delicious and my wife had baked goats’ cheese. Our mains were a chicken stack for my wife and a rib eye steak for me (both came with really tasty onion rings and I had champ, tomatoes and mushrooms, all of which were a cut above normal NI eateries/pub grub). Only wee niggles were that my wife’s goats’ cheese needed bread, and my steak came well done instead of medium (but was still very tasty), but it wasn’t a big deal. We would definitely go back.

We showed up on New Years Day without a booking, which was a big risk, but we were seated immediately. We checked in for track and trace purposes and presented our passports, covid procedures were being followed. Two of our kids have allergies, and all our kids have additional needs, so we were worried we would upset the atmosphere but as the restaurant was almost empty, it was perfect. The staff were attentive, kind and knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered mains and sweets and we were assured the meal was suitable for our kids with allergies. I had the most tender rump steak I have ever eaten at this restaurant- and it was well done too, so a bit of a miracle! Excellent food all round, tables cleared quickly and always someone there to check everyone was ok. We will be back again, maybe without the kids haha 😂

We visited for a pre pantomime treat last Saturday..we were looked after magnificently by Donna and seated by a cosy fire ...kids had a cheese burger and chips and sausage and chips...delicious..hubby and I had caesar salad and chowder..both big starters and so tasty..then we both had the steak and chips 🍟..steak was perfectly cooked and so tender..we had ice cream and chocolate brownies to finish...the whole meal was definitely worthwhile travelling from Belfast for...Donna's cheerful fun personality made us feel so welcome and we intend to return soon ..thanks to all the Crooked Glen staff

No better way to enjoy your Sunday dinner with our young kids, in front of a lge screen viewing the classic scrooge Xmas movie, with complimentary warm popcorn, while waiting for our meals to arrive, Fantastic entertainment for everyone, all pones were down. Let's talk food hubby traditional Turkey & ham with the full works absolutely delicious. Myself, the cod on a bed of basil mash, plenty of root vegetables, perfection on a plate. Kids loved their fish gougons. Would recommend this unique way of dinning with young kids in the biuld up to Xmas. Thankyou Team Glen

Called in today to sample the new menu. Have to say everything was first class. Service was excellent, food was delicious and the bar really welcoming. Brilliant food, brilliant staff and brilliant atmosphere.

Grabbed a quick meal here before dropping family at the airport. The staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful, and the food was fantastic. Will certainly continue to be a pre airport stop off

Haven’t eaten here for a while, but excellent meal today. Mussels starter in Thai red curry sauce was seriously tasty. Good timing until the mains, and both duck leg and gammon were excellent. Dessert was good too. Great service, relaxing atmosphere, all round good day out. 👍
