Unreal burgers, big crispy chips, can’t beat it

We are visiting the area and went to the crispy cod after a road race last night. We had burgers and chicken goujons with chips and they were fantastic. The staff were helpful and friendly even though it was almost closing time. Would definitely recommend!

Everything you order is perfect, have not had a bad takeaway ever , time and care is taken with the food and produces high quality result everytime, will ALWAYS be the No1 chippy for me, I'm a fuss pot but not fussy with Crispy Cod as I know how much care taken when preparing food.

Great traditional chip shop. Service was fast and the shop itself was spotless. I had some chicken nuggets and a burger which were both excellent. My wife had the fish which she assured me was absolutely top notch. It looked like a good big bit of fish and the batter was crispy. A large chip was more than enough for two people as the portion was very generous.

Quickly becoming my number 1 spot for fish and chips. Lovely, flakey fish a crispy thin batter. You can't go wrong.

Area outside and inside very clean, frozen chips and pre battered fish should be freshly battered to order (and a very thin piece of fish as if the fillet has been sliced down the centre to get 2 portions from 1 fillet)

Crispy Cod is a very appropriate name as this is exactly what the fish is as opposed to other takeaways. Friendly staff fast delivery. Highly recommend.
