Fantastic pub, the hub of chapeltown bars, lovely lady Dawn as landlady. DJ on Friday and Saturday. Good selection of beers, nice IPA on tap.

Great place for a drink, normally they have a Friday night dj but he had phoned in sick.... the music played to replace him was brilliant and a bit of everything for everyone to enjoy ... we shall definitely go back again really nice lay out inside and very clean.

A brilliant cozy public house, excellent/friendly barstaff who served customers throughout covid when we could only drink outside with no problem at all. A fantastic team..our local.

Landlady needs psychiatric help

I've stayed here twice. First time was for 3 weeks. Then for two nights. The owners are very nice. Very welcoming. The rooms are cheap and ideal, because at this price it can't be faulted. A clean tidy room, with clean towel. Plenty of toilets bathrooms, but not en suite in the room I stayed in. This is a pub too, but not dear on the prices. Everything can be found locally, from food to petrol and shopping.

Definitely improved since my last visit. There has never been any cask on whenever I have been though despite the pump on the bar.

Nice place. Good night out on a saturday. Not sure about the wallpaper in the toilets though!!?? 🤔🤣

Dont go in as often as I used to. Only cause I've moved. The place had been done out and looks nice. The beer was ice cold

A smart and nicely done out pub. Sadly they had no cask ale on as it wasn't selling. It would be unfair of me to give it a bad rating just because it didn't suit my choice of alcohol...

Has to compete with a wetherspoons 100yds away but has accommodation.

It would have been better with karaoke

Should be 5 but the DJ doesn't take requests just strings you along making you think your song will be played also, karoake on one of either friday or Saturday is a must return.

Home cooked food. Reasonable price. Friendly staff and customers.

Good pensioners meals Tuesday to Friday lunchtime.

Used to be a great night but since the refurbishment the landlord wants it "more sedate" so probably won't go back until the music gets better, not a fan of 80's synthesis music

Completely different pub after the refurbishment. Gone from being a fun place with karaoke and good music to a very dull place. Spoke to the landlord and he's instigated the changes as he wants a "sedate" atmosphere ( on a Friday night in Chapeltown) . I won't be going in again!!!

lovely pup freindly staff they do a senior menu 3 course meal plus other menu 12 till 2 also coffee, the only draw back is the parking the care park is used for shoppers as well as clientele
