Very bland would not order again the woman on the phone was very very rude to us

I live in LS13 and they delivered to me & it was piping hot, tasted incredible & on time! The portion sizes are brilliant too. I’d recommend this Chinese to anyone! I was shocked at how many chicken balls we got!! amazing!! Gonna order again tonight now because just writing this review has made me crave their lemon chicken again 🤤🤤🤤

Have gone to here for over 20 years, honestly one of the best chinese takeaways I know of. If you pick one place to get food from let the cherry tree be the one, you won't be disappointed.

Be better if you got people who answered the phone with manners.

absolutely amazing food, yes it's cash only, they don't get ripped off by just eat (other platforms avaliable...but not here), which means the quality of food is so much better , they are happy to adapt a dish for you, (I get beef n black pepper with mushrooms instead of green pepper, ) , never had a bad meal from here, or bad service , 100% recommend

I'm thankful for the number of tofu dishes, and if the price continues to be low I will keep coming back!

Always love these food magicians! Try a combi box or a dellicious curry or chow mein they're delicious too. The young lovely lady on the phone is excellent in her given career and its always lovely to converse with her as soon as she knows the postcode equals the address. Gorgeous food delightful conversation a clean run establishment - enjoy.

We went in and ordered food to take away. The lady at the counter was very friendly and great fun! We ordered our food and only had a short wait while they prepared our meals. The food was fantastic! Lots of meat and veggies in the main dishes - not the usual sort of saucy meals we've had from other take aways. Everything we ordered was perfect and we finished everything. 100% the best chinese we've had in the area. Would highly recommend.

This is without doubt the best Chinese takeaway/ delivery in the Leeds16 Leeds18 area the food always arrives hot, on time and very generous portions, great menu especially now they have introduced Thai dishes (Really tasty dinner for two for less than £20)

This is the best takeaway in the area. Quick, good service and the food is spot on. The only downside is they only take cash but there is a cash machine over the road.

You literally cannot pick a better Chinese takeaway… Period! I’ve been eating from here since I was a child and my mum and dad would treat us to a Chinese. It is as amazing now as it was back then! Highly recommend :)

Extremely bland food. I ordered the veg spring rolls which was overly fried and just filled with onions only, and not very nice sweet & sour chicken & rice. Waste of money.

Waited an hour for our food to arrive only to find meat in a vegetarian dish. This isn't the first time this has happened. It's absolutely disgraceful.

Really delicious. We have tried many chinese takeaways around the LS16 area and this is one of the best. Super friendly and really tasty! Duck in plum sauce, crispy chilli chicken, prawn toast and chicken soup is amazing!

Good value, good quantities, extensive choice of dishes and tasty. Can only pay by cash though.

The cashier is so mean all the time she doesn’t have customer service skills. Im so sorry for the owner because they have good food but customer service is horrible.

I've been using the Cherry Tree for over a year and have had nothing but positive experiences with it. My favourites are the special Fried Rice and the special Chow Mein. I can't say enough good things about this place.

Very average Chinese. Also they put menus through your door when there's a clear sign right on the letterbox that says NO MENUS!! Sick to death of them. STOP TRESPASSING!! RESPECT PEOPLES WISHES!!!!

We had completely given up on Chinese takeaway's until we recently discovered The Cherry Tree. Such good food and we love the fact the dish contain actual vegetables! We haven't found a bad dish yet. So yummy, great service and price. High recommend!

Just had another fabulous meal delivery.

It has taken us two years to find a decent Chinese close by and we’ve tried a few. It arrived quickly and the driver was so lovely. We had soup, duck pancakes, special fried rice and beef in Szechuan sauce and it was all incredible. Was still hot when it arrived too. So glad we’ve found it and can’t wait to order again!

I don't know who needs to hear this..BUT...CHERRY TREE IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST CHINESE RESTAURANT IN LEEDS! It's my first time ordering from them and let me tell you...THEY DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! AMAZINNNNNG FOOD!!!! I ordered the set dinner for 4. Food for dayssssss! And everything from the appetizers to the 5 main course and even the prawn crackers were delightful and does taste different from others! From now on I will only order chinese food from Cherry Tree. They are absolutely amazing! Prices are just as amazing as the food and the portions are quite plentiful! Josefina

Always polite the lady on the phone knows who i am as soon as i ring which is great. The food is fabulous, service 100% spot on and i would reccommend The Cherry Tree to all for a lovely, inexpensive, substantial meal, served with a smile everytime.

Does anything come with chips or rice like all the other Chinese shops? No just-eat, no card payments is a little suspect!? Closing at the same time as the local convenience store on a Saturday night is too early! Good food thought!

Would not bother if you want a delivery. Told 45 minute wait but no arrival after 1 hour. Called only to be told on way (without any explanation or apology). Still no arrival after 1 hour 15 minutes. Called again to cancel and only reply was ‘ok’! Shocking service and attitude, will not be using again.

Best Chinese takeaway in Leeds. If you want delivery or collection you will need to go in store for a menu. This takeaway is still old school.

Lovely food been going here for many years just a shame recently the woman on the phone is very rude. Also heard her being rude to customers while ordering and shouting at them down the phone. Not good and because of this we are not taking our custom somewhere else. Please get somebody with some manners to deal with your phone calls.

Brilliant !!! Our local Chinese was closed for holidays .... So..... We tried The Cherry Tree..... So good in fact we'll keep on coming ....!!!!!

Not a bad vegetarian selection which has more than the standard mix veg in black bean sauce. Tofu was abit bland could have done with being fried in the spices first but other than that it was hot on arrival and prices aren't too bad!
