The Chequers pub in Newham

My walking group used this for a lunch. It was ok but service was very slow given all 9 of us had to pre-order. Food was not exciting but I was glad that a very large ladies group arrived after us making it very full. Useful parking. The Beers were fine and better priced than around Harpenden. The draw back is uninspired food with slow service.

James and Kate did the most amazing day and BBQ for 70th Birthday party the food was outstanding, bar staff were fantastic

We went 3 generations for Mothers day - the best ever meal on mothers day - beautiful gifts for all the mothers in the restaurant - food was amazing and the flower pot desert 100% edible was the better than you would find in a Michelin stared restaurants - James & Kate amazing hosts and Sam the most fantastic waiter - could not wish for anything better for Mothers day - thank you Chequers Caddington

A really lovely busy pub. very well kept ale, straightforward well prepared food and very welcoming and friendly.

We visited a couple of weeks ago and had a really nice time! The staff are su friendly, service was quick and everyone’s food was great. I had some of the vegan snack pots and shared the vegan chocolate orange pudding which was all really tasty! I don’t expect vegan options at pubs so to have choices for starters, mains and desserts is amazing and everything I tried was great value! Hope to visit again soon :)

Good food, Friendly staff and service. Sunday lunch, not too keen on chilli con carne but their burgers and pub chips and very good

Visitamos los Chequers por primera vez en muchos años para una cena de cumpleaños de un amigo. ¡Qué agradable sorpresa. Conseguimos una buena "sentir" en el lugar, muy concurrida, siempre es una buena señal. Comida interesante y sabroso. En general, volveré y otros han dicho a probarlo.

Hi, Popped in for a light lunch with family in December unknowing the kitchen was being refurbished, but hey they still pulled a meal together which was extremely tasty, well done, Very traditional Pub in a small village close to Dunstable. Very pleasant staff.

El dueño del pub era muy amable y servicial. La comida es sabrosa comida y una buena relación calidad-precio para un bocado rápido, para comer - encantador sándwiches tostados eran alrededor de £4 y un lado de patatas fritas era sólo £1 y es muy bueno. Por desgracia estaba conduciendo así que no puedo comentar sobre la cerveza aunque parecía que había algunas buenas cervezas de barril, hacen una buena taza de té.

Decepcionado cuando visitamos recientemente para tener un bocado para comer, todos los precios han subido y no por 50 p - £1.00 , mucho más. Algo que me desanima comer allí de nuevo, ya que su única de pub grub y que cobran precios del restaurante. Es una pena porque es nuestro representante.

Nice pub, with good beer. Tucked away, this small pub is nice. Just the place for a quick drink or food. Reasonably priced and plenty of choice.

A new landlord has taken over this pub & has a new menu. Very good prices for lunch time snacks. Doom Bar available. Car park rather small but perfectly usable. Toilets all on the level.

Qué sorpresa este pub. Estábamos pasando y nos apetecía algo para comer, tenía uno de los los asados del domingo y lasaña casera. La comida era muy buena, más que abundantes raciones y relación calidad-precio es increíble. Todo era fresco y no puedo alabar el propietario y chef lo suficiente. Sin duda volveremos. Se trata de un pub local, pero todo el mundo fue muy amable.

¡excelente comida en el pub en Chequers caddington beds, fui con mi trabajo y tenía un almuerzo de negocios y la comida era increíble, las raciones eran más que generoso y la comida era excelente calidad, recomendaría el pub y que sin duda harán que vuelva.
