The Catch - Fish & Chips in Newry and Mourne

One of the best fish and chippies based in a trailer on road from harbour to Asda.Very busy at times.Friendly lady owner and her young female team. Priced reasonable.I get a cod and scampi small mix meal.Very filling and recommended. Always call if in area.

Food was terrible. Chips completely burnt, burger completely burnt. Worst burger and chips I have ever tasted.

Still eating and absolutely gorgeous, delicious scampi and super fresh chips. Will def be back.

I come here every weekend and it’s always the same amazing quality!! Lovely friendly service and you couldn’t beat the traditional fish and chip. Best in kilkeel.

Extremely poor quality fish supper. Not good value at all. Fish (haddock) - slimy, soggy and cased in inedible soft batter. Chips - crispy but dry, over-cooked and not hot at all. About one third of the chips were just 'little bits'. Note...I drove 200yds to harbour and 'attempted' to eat the food immediately....so minimal time lag. Very disappointed as this was the first time I had bought from this cabin. And they won an award in 2022.....hmmmmm!!

The catch won Fish and Chip Awards 2022, Catering Van category and there is a reason why. Great food at a great price with friendly service. All the seafood is supplied by Sea Source based in Kilkeel harbour, coming fresh of Kilkeels.fleet of fishing boats.

Soggy fish soggy chips and both sausages bust out of skin tasted rank. Honestly very poor and I expected so much better. I guess good reviews mean nothing really. Only took it 400 yards to the harbour to eat it.

Friendly staff, fresh fish, light batter, delicious onion rings, enjoy at the harbour... What's not to like 😉👍🏻
