Great cosy bar, great beer, friendly staff

We stop here every time we are in Newry. They have lovely, efficient, friendly staff, decent pints of Guinness and the last time we were in they seemed to be warming up some live music.

Cocktails were fabulous in Nan Rices this evening. Cocktails were on special offer 2 for £10 an I couldn’t fault them. Will be back.

Great we local pub,catering for all the generations young and old , in a mixture of traditional and modern song and dance and an abundance of the craic

This Bar Definitely does the best Pints in Newry by far !!! It has beautiful courtyard and live music every weekend, great place for party’s 🥳very friendly staff also 😊 would definitely recommend this Bar !

I went out here last night with a few from work and without any reason he pushes one of the girls out and then he grabs my drink and pours it out and pushed me out too with no reason at all

It was great 👍 to get yours 1 pint of Gunness after so long time. Locals is served first and you can't order from bar. You need to stay and wate for waitress to serve you after locals got their pints. Plus side is its back garden is big enough.

Been here a few times for the pizzas. Spicy Squash is my favourite so far, but they've all been good. Thanks a lot guys! See yas again soon.

Wow ....what an experience, we went as a family 3 teenagers a 10 year old and two adults ...Ordered the Neapolitan sourdough pizzas by “”Pizza Umami””” and what a treat they where ..beautiful soft dough really light and the flavours where out of this world, we also had a couple of portions of the umami fries they were so moreish the only word I can think of to describe them :) The beer garden in NaN RIces itself is so lovely atmosphere really good and awesome beers to top it all off ...If you get the opportunity to visit would highly highly recommend a definite must 🍺🍕🍕

Ok so the beers are great. But the food. Pizza Umami is an absolute hidden gem. Would hugely recommend for a pint and a pizza 🍕

Me and my friends got pizza and chips inside the bar and they were the best pizzas i've had in all my life, would recommend

Very disappointing menu. The only vegetarian option was a rissotto so I had to order that. It was truly disgusting, dry and crunchy instead of creamy and the saltiness was off the chart. In fact it was so bad I couldn't eat it at all. Definitely will never return.

A nice, friendly bar to relax in. Beer is more expensive than other local bars.

The live music here is class, the acoustics could be a tad better but its a friendly welcoming place with everything you'd expect from a professional bar. Definitely worth checking out if you're in Ardee.

Good beer, good craic, good pub

I don't know how this place has the timerity to call itself a restaurant. The staff are more interested in chatting with their regulars. The "food" is what was served in 1970s pubs.

Nice place , good well presented food, friendly staff and close to the shopping centres . I remember years ago it's were my grandad drank lol not now good spot for a break while wife is shopping
