Tasty Chinese Takeaway in Newry and Mourne

Salt & Chilli chicken was 10/10 but bit pricey at £7.50 for a starter.

Waited almost 40 minutes on food. I know places can be busy on saturday nights but 40 minutes is way too long. Get more staff. If you are making money by being sooo busy no reason why cant get more staff. Disappointed in having to write this.

Food is lovely and you can get half portions.

If you like burnt prawn toast, vile springrolls and chewy chicken this is the place for you. Simply awful. Cannot recommend.

Very tasty meals and good service

This was our first and last visit here. We only called here because the wonderful Dragon Express just across the road was closed. I suppose some of it was tasty but it had too many disappointments. I tried the vegetable curry and sadly it was quite a watery curry populated with thinly sliced Thai baby corn, onion, green pepper, green peas, mushrooms and water chestnuts. We also had bought two chilli dishes - salted chilli thin sliced pork chops and a chilli chicken - and each of these dishes had that acrid chilli heat that comes from cheap dried red chilli flakes. This is an unpleasant heat. There wasn’t a smidgen of fresh red chilli anywhere in sight in any of the chilli dishes nor in the watery curry. This is unwelcome evidence of that growing but unwelcome mind set where the aim is to deliver the cheapest food possible, at the highest price possible, with no expense spent, to maximise profit and to heck with the customer. So I suppose it’s a borderline three stars but as I said having discovered the Dragon Express we’ll return there.

Ordered two curry 3 in 1s with crispy chicken. Took 35 minutes with 12 people being served in between me getting my food. Got home to find one meal had no curry sauce and the other had about a tea spoon of it.

What a horrible place, food very poor, meat...i dont know if it is that and the staff especially the owner, extremely ignorant and worst customer service i have ever seen. Not recommended at all

Just love this chinese take away. Friendly staff and fantastic food in my opinion. Best curry sauce by far.Vincent is very friendly and the 3 girls are an asset on the counter.

Mejor sal y chili pollo en Newry!! No preocupan mucho en salsa curry pero el personal era muy amable y el servicio era rápido! Vine aquí con amigos así que nos dieron un montón de cosas para compartir, sal y chili pollo era algo fuera de este mundo! Y el precio en general era razonable! Sin duda recomendaría

Great bbq ribs, honey chilli chicken and chicken curry. Friendly staff and owner and very quick service. Don't go anywhere else.

Was told how good this was but it was just ok and no more. No rush to go back. Staff were reasonably friendly. Food was just a slap.

Mientras junto con sus amigos una noche después de una buena noche de nuestra empresa decidió conseguir una comida para llevar de la china del sabroso en isla de azúcar. Mientras esperábamos en su orden uno de mis amigos me di cuenta que podía ver el personal desde la parte de la barra que sirve la comida en recipientes.

Love the food. Owners have taken over from the Rose Garden and the standard of food is excellent, the service couldn't be friendlier and the price is top of the pops! Love it!
