Great night out with good atmosphere

If I’m on a night out in Stalybridge I always like to end the night here. Great friendly bar that is a safe place to go with a good selection of drinks and great music.

I go here sometimes as i normally go out in town but its a friendly place if you dont want to spend to much, the bar supervisor Shay is such a lovely bubbly person and a cutie. His cocktails making skills are immaculate me and my mate Sherry was well impressed and had one to many 😂. He manages the bar very well and he is lovely to talk to very social he deserves a promotion and thanks to him me and Sherry will be back for more of his delicious cocktails.

The door staff are super lovely and when i walked in this sexy boy called shay was stood at the bar and we had a lovely chat and he made me feel welcome he is super lovely and friendly and need a promotion

That barstaff called shay is absolutely gorgeous, he's such a helpful person and is super amazing at serving his customers!! Give this man a promotion!!!

Went to a 40th at Caspers upstairs. Good place if the didnt run out of beer. No cider, no bitter.

It's a great place to have a drink or even have a party

Way too warm and 40 minutes to wait for a drink!

This is upstairs used to be a nightclub now a private venue excellent for parties or large family gatherings

Staff a bit abrupt maybe just overworked drinks was served in a warm glass asked for Smirnoff vodka got cheap vodka bit over priced

Decent night out cheap drinks and not to busy till about 1am

Absolutely freezing. No heating on, on coldest day of the year. Only party been to where guests had to wear their coats all night (indoors). Only had half a bottle of wine, of any description, with 80 + guests! Lovely to meet up with friends and the host made us very welcome with a lovely buffet and entertainment. Thank you.

Don't judge a book by it's cover as they say. From the outside place looks dodgy and the entrance for the function is at the back. Inside it's lovely though. Staff really nice. A little small but cosy. 4 put of 5 star due to air con broke so a little humid for some guests. Late bar and most drinks under £4. Club downstairs until half 3 a bit crowded . Plenty security staff to tackle any troubles. Taxi services 50 metres away.

Great staff..very understanding... perfectly looked after...2 for 1 cocktails helps by the way....

Never go there again the staff and bouncers are a wast ov time

We recently booked the function room for our daughters 21st. The room was great with a good layout and the staff were really helpful and accommodation. Unfortunately we had to cancel because of the current situation and the deposit was refunded with no issues at all. Really impressed with the service and will definitely be rebooking and using this room again in the future.

Good sized room, with dance floor even if a little cold.

Fab room! Very smart! lots of space, nice 'sociable' seating plan, own bar - drinks prices are cheap! 🍻 😁 Dancefloor, DJ Booth, disco lights, VIP area 😉 big projector screen on the wall! Own quiet entrance to the function room so no worries & a few parking spaces right outside. Taxi rank and kebab shop over the road (for after 🥙🚕🏠), nightclub downstairs open till 3am (incase you were going for an after-party 😉) - in which case, I salute you! Large Ladies & gents toilets with a baby change table (oh yes they thought of everything) and wait for it.... A kids play room/area... thing! With toys and beanbags!!! And!!! They let you bring your own buffet! Overall fabulous! * Note: the function room is upstairs - stairwell is quite big and open with tiered stairs. So not your usual cramped situation. 100% book this place you won't be dissapointed!

Nice sized venue and drinks are reasonably priced.

Downstairs is a bar but upstairs, which used to be a nightclub, has been refurbished and is now a function room. We liked it enough to have our wedding party there 😁

Absolutely brill great DJ great music went there tonight after 15 years of not going there made me feel welcome bouncer near DJ very welcoming and nice and on the ball love work at place like this xxx

Went with a group of friends place was quite at first . About a hour later OMG what a night we had .great music great ppl and the pub to club fantaisc. No problem with getting drinks and staff really friendly and helpful .door staff very good and was a great night .. bring from Scouse land didn't feel uncomfortable at all .great place 😎😎

Decent little function room , you can normally have it for free with £50 deposit. Only problem is it's a very dark room no natural light.

Good laugh with down to earth comon people. If you don't like swearing and chanting don't go

Lovely room, but up some very steep stairs. No really accessible to people with mobility problems. I had to have two people help me.

Went for a ladies night. What a pile off rubbish. Management is a joke! Left early to go to another bar as this one was pathetic!!! An 18th birthday which after buying tickets was told off another bouncer she couldn't get in unless she was 21. So even with ID she wouldn't have got in. Maybe you should specify the age on the ticket

Great venue place. Went to a wedding in the room upstairs. Maybe needed more staff on for this, otherwise nice pub!

Nice old school pub. Lovely singers and very welcoming staff and locals. Nice pool table and good darts teams.

Always a great atmosphere and sing-a-long tunes. Different rooms means you can talk in the front room or dance in the back room. Always a good night!
