Had the a burger and loaded fries. Burger was average and loaded fries were so poor with hardly anything on it. Route 66 much better for burgers.

Dropped in for Christmas drinks and was underwhelmed with the general feel of the place due to the miserable staff that looked like they would rather be anywhere else. Had the butter chicken which I’m not sure was cooked thoroughly and was definitely laden with grease. Myself and partner felt particularly ill later that evening which sort of confirmed my fears about the chicken. Not impressed.

Just chanced upon this place and very pleased we found it! The burgers were really good and it was 2-4-1 burgers and cocktails! So really good value! Good portion size. The staff were really friendly. Outside was suitable for dogs too - bonus!

I can now see and understand the negative reports on this place. Normally, I am not the slating kind of girl. I would normally telephone if I have a problem, but these people are completely unapproachable. Having wanted to visit for some time, I decided to venture in with my daughter (aged 23). We peeped at the menu and both went to the bar. I ordered a pint of Asahi while my daughter asked which cider they had. The answer was sharp at best. We then asked for the cider she chose, and she was asked for her ID. Normally, she has this on her, but on this occasion, she didn't. Because of the rude and unwelcoming attitude to both of us, I told the member of staff to forget my pint.... the response was, "ARE YOU SERIOUS - I'VE JUST PURED YOU LIKE HALF A PINT"? I did actually feel like saying "no actually, I'm just having a laugh" but held my tongue. We said thank you and walked out while she bellowed across the whole bar "Maybe bring some ID with you next time" Extremely unprofessional and embarrassing. I would like to point out that this was a Thursday lunchtime. My daughter had no make up on because she doesn't feel the need to try and look older than she is. I understand that people have to be age checked, but maybe it would be wise to read your customer and start checking the under agers that are out on a Friday and Saturday night rather than the older ones who are out for a spot of lunch with Mother on a school day.

Used to the love this place but the attitude we got from the bloke working their last Saturday makes me never want to go again. We arrived as a large group on a late Saturday afternoon and seated ourselves at the back where there is 2 large tables, to which we all fitted around perfectly without moving any furniture. After a couple of rounds we was told we should have booked if it was a large party to which we advised we had tried and was told we can’t book a table unless we were ordering food. We was told we was blocking the kitchen and would have to move, however as stated we was sat in the seats where they were on arrival, if having 2 tables of 6 sat at 2 tables of 6 is in the way of the kitchen then maybe they need to rethink the floor plan? He then tried to seat us in one of the smaller booths which surely would just cause more problems as there was too many of us for this space and we’d then be blocking the front door. The attitude we got from this man in regards to not only this but simply just ordering our drinks on arrival was completely unnecessary, so we took our money else where to another pub who was absolutely made up for such a large table to be entering and couldn’t do enough for us. (A much smaller place too might I add) If you don’t want people in your bar spending money on a Saturday afternoon/evening then I think you’re in the wrong business. There was approx 6 people remaining in this bar after we left and I don’t think any of them were ordering food.

Me and my partner visited on a Sunday and Cocktails/Burgers were BOGOF, The service was quick and the burgers were great. We both got ‘The Tinga Tower’ and I didn’t realise how massive the chicken thigh would be, this burger was great, the chicken was cooked to order and you could snap the bacon like a stick (just how it should be in a burger) I can see a lot of reviews on poor customer service but I personally didn’t have an issue. I’ve been before and it operates on a ‘order at the bar’ but table service or perhaps a website wouldn’t go a miss, other than that, everything was great.

Nice and friendly pub, worth a visit. Lots of choices for lager and beers plus cocktails. Food looked nice what they brought out.

Phoned to book a table for a group of 6 for drinks, but were told tables can only be booked if we are having food. Decided we would also have food and booked a table for 13.1.2022 for 7:15pm . Half of the group arrived at 7:15 and ordered drinks. the other half arrived around 7:40. After the second group also ordered drinks and decided what to eat, two of us went to the bar shortly before 8pm to order food, only to be told that the kitchen had closed at 7:45 and that the chef had repeatedly given the guy taking our order the "look" not to take the order. As we had been told we could only book a table if we were having food, and the staff were aware we had arrived, we asked why wasn't we told when the kitchen would be closing and to order straight away. Daisy, the extremely unprofessional bar manager on duty that night just looked at us, was extremely abrupt and started to rudely raise her voice to tell us it wasn't their job to let us know what time the kitchen closes. She questioned why we had just been sitting there laughing and joking instead of ordering our food. We had in fact been looking at the menu and deciding what to eat. We again made her aware that we were told we could only book a table for food, which we did, but we wasn't aware what time the kitchen would close as this wasn't communicated to us when booking the table or upon arrival, despite the staff being aware that we would be ordering food. She continued to raise her voice and spoke with an attitude saying it wasn't her problem, told us to go away and walked away to the end of the bar whilst we were still speaking to her. We approached her again and asked if we could speak to the manager as we wasn't happy with the way she was speaking and shouting. She told us she was the manager and that she wasn't interested in listening to anything we had to say. We were shocked and absolutely gobsmacked by the way we were treatment. Informed her that we in fact worked in the hospitality business working as managers and wouldn't dream of talking to customers the way she had. We returned to our table to decide what to do or where to go for food. Once at the table, was told by a member of the group that Daisy had also made rude hand gestures behind our back whilst we were waking away from her. Minutes later, a member of the group went up to order another drink at the bar where she was greeted with an attitude and rudely spoken to by Daisy. When she commented to Daisy that her customer service skills were appalling, Daisy responded with, "well I won't serve you at all then you f*****g little b*tch. You need to get out." Looking at others' reviews, it appears this is typical customer service treatment there. Being sworn at by a member of staff, in particular management, is absolutely shocking, disgusting and unforgivable behaviour. As a group we shall not be returning to such an unprofessional establishment which is run by extremely rude "management" with a lack of experience. Will also ensure others are warned to stay away.

Excellent food with amazing vegan options! Food came out quickly and was absolutely delicious. Staff were warm and welcoming and happy to have a laugh with us! Would highly recommend for a quick lunch

Fancied a cocktail, had a Long Island Iced Tea, bar staff were friendly and cocktail was strong and flavoursome. Unfortunately i went to sit down and this Boy called Tom Carney was rude and kelt asking to sit with me and my girlfriends. He really annoyed us so we left. Would go again if he wasnt there

We came in for some cocktails and went up to the bar to order, the woman behind the bar was stood texting on her phone and didn’t acknowledge us before finishing her text. We also wanted to change something with one of the cocktails and it seemed very inconvenient to her, she gave us attitude while serving and rudely interrupted us multiple times. Will not be visiting again

Great food, friendly staff. Dropped in on the off chance as has getting hangry Chicken burger and loaded fries was amazing.

I regularly dine at the bobbin as a family or with friends couples nights etc however recently rang to purchase vouchers when a male answered the phone and was asked if they did vouchers shouting no down the phone abruptly and putting phone down is probably not the way to keep your customers they have tottaly ignored messages and deleted all comments on there Facebook page regarding this will never go here again

Terrible customer service rude staff and when you leave negative feedback on Facebook they delete and block you . Do not recommend

Being forced to pay for drinks while trying to order food is not my idea of a friendly atmosphere, I've always paid at the end. The food was awefull and came covered in oil and its all over priced more like 5-10 pound for just the burger... Bad customer service

Absolutely terrible customer service, waiting for a table outside, waiter informed us when a table would become available, once a table became available the waiter gifted it to another group who just showed up whereas we had been waiting outside for 30 mins, awful customer service showing a clear lack of care for the customer.

It was great to have a night out with Live Music. They had 2 different male singers who were both excellent. It would have been 5 stars if it wasn't for the very weak and disappointing Mojitos ! The burgers were wonderful! Efficient and friendly table service.

Just eaten their Good Burger with my family. Wherever Ive been, around the world, I seek out and try different burger restaurants. This is one of the best I’ve eaten in years. Amazing.

Well most annoyed with this Pub / Restaurant , in a lovely position , a nice sun trap for the afternoon sun , we came on holiday and were enjoying sunbathing and having some drinks then was told to put my top on as no sunbathing was allowed ??? What ?? With all the rules and regulations we have to follow from the Government we just found this pathetic to be told no sunbathing , i could understand a problem inside with my top off but we were just a couple enjoying a drink outside in the scorching sun , the people around us couldnt believe it either a few of them supped up and went and we did the same - obviously this pub hadnt suffered with the Lockdown if they could afford to turn customers away , anyway in the end they did us a favour we found another pub and asked about sunbathing - and they just couldnt believe it either - they said its hot , your on holiday , we wouldnt expect anything less , so we settled in their for the next 5 days and their drinks were also 25 percent cheaper as well - Jackpot , so basically look around , also the next pub also had social distancing measures in place , The Bobbins seemed to be all over the place.

Popped in for a bit of dinner and a drink. Atmosphere was buzzy and the bouncers outside were particularly nice- they steered my wife out of the way when a drunk person in the street (who we hadn't noticed) was likely to bump into her.Was so impressed that they had cans of local craft beer for a very reasonable price. More places should do this rather than just buying from the big brewers (including big craft brewers).

I visited the Bobbin with my family , I ordered the chicken burger , the amount of grease resembled lip balm , my sister ordered the loaded fries, greasy and sour , presumed the oil was old this was confirmed when I walked past the kitchen ;a state. surprised they have a 5 star food hygiene rating , just from a quick glance they wouldn’t have more than a 3 now , just a tip from me to the fellow chefs working here , oil needs to be cleaned ideally twice a week (at a push once) oil becomes thin once heated and cooled to many times and also absorbs the flavours of other foods cooked in the oil , (this can be tasted) thin oil makes food greasy as it absorbs easily , also if oil is not hot enough before cooking it doesn’t create a seal quick enough and seeps into the food also resulting in the food being greasy ,i would like to make it clear my reason for writing this review is more than just having a dig but constructive criticism, if you use some of my suggestions it will improve your restaurant ,As a side note , the waiter was miserable ,sassy and even though it’s a small restaurant seemed out of his depth also just a personal thing but not a fan of being served food from a plastic tray ,it’s not a seventies style restaurant so why is it using seventies style ways of serving food (themes don’t match) other than that , a nice place , sort the food/hygiene out and the waiterand it’ll be tip top! Xx

Oh lord what a gorgeous meal. Succulent chicken, lovely sauces and crunchy coleslaw, up there with the best burgers I've ever had. Will come here before every night out.

I like to try things that are different and heard that Bobbins were doing a new festive vegetarian pizza with a difference. Went along and had their Vegetarian Christmas Pizza - quorn, stuffing, cranberry sauce, red onion, rosemary and red wine gravy! It was a taste sensation and the best veggie pizza I have had ! Efficient and friendly staff. Great atmosphere.

Called for lunch on Saturday before a day on the lash to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Ordered 3 pizzas between 6 of us. Pizza’s were all absolutely spot on and if I am honest far exceeding expectations. I could highly recommend the Diavola. Well done the Bobbin.

We very much enjoyed our trip to this bar, the drinks were lovely and the service was initially great. The bar itself is beautifully decorated and was a very comfy place to have a drink.Only slight negative was that towards the end of our stay (at only 4PM) the staff were setting up for a party and we definitely got the vibe it would be preferred if we would leave.

Food absolutely lovely , superfood salad was amazing. The service was second to none and Troy went above and beyond to make sure we had a lovely evening. Thanks Troy!

We visited here on Saturday night for my friends 21st birthday. Our table was booked for 7:15pm and in advance as a surprise I had called the restuarant and arranged a bottle of wine and a cocktail each to be waiting on the table for when we arrived, also I paid a deposit for food and for the wine. To our shock when we arrived the table that said our name on was covered in glasses and not set up as promised. I went up to the bar and asked to speak to the manager Ross who had dealt with me over the phone and said he would be working the Saturday night, however he wasn't in, instead Troy dealt with us. We never once got a apology about the issue from the staff and none of them seemed bothered that it wasn't sorted. The cocktails eventually arrived but I had to ask for the wine 3 times and even when it came we had to ask again for glasses. The food was gorgeous and the highlight of our evening. Being a party of 8 and the majority of us having worked in hospitality ourselves, we were all shocked how everything was handled, Troy giving eye rolls and sighing, being sarcastic and laughing at our expense, not once did he try resolve the mistake or apologise. However Courtney was fab, after paying our bill she had heard from Ross the manager and listened to what had gone on and couldn't be more apologetic and brought us all a glass of prosecco. So overall the food was amazing but the staff in general were unprofessional and rude.

This place has excellent food and cocktails and is very reasonably priced. Highly recommend the platter for variety. There were three of us and we each ordered something different and shared. The meatballs are gorgeous. The Long Island Ice Tea cocktail is strong but tastes lovely. The staff, atmosphere and service are great. Will definitely be back.

I always have a good meal at the bobbin whether it’s pizza/platter or a wrap it’s always nice and cooked well. The cocktails are the best in cleethorpes by far!

Not been to Cleethopres for two years cause of working out of town, apprentley The veune been change around.....This bar isn't that bad, but Dj seen to be put one or two good songs then go down to boring music? I enjoy have couple Drinks with good atmosphere but few occasion been always last for 5 mins then everyone move on to next pub Hopefully the old skool music will be back on next visit and last longer too?

I have to be honest and admit I was dubious about eating here as I always thought of it more a place to go for a drink only. But eating at 7.30pm the place wasnt as packed as it is later on in the evening and I have to say the food was fabulous and I was pleasantly surprised. 2 good quality meals & a bottle of wine for £25. A great menu choice - bit different to your standard pub menu. Would definately eat there again.

I couldn’t decide between 3* or 4* but went with 3* because the music is too loud to have a conversation & the bar staff lack customer service (the amount of times I heard them swearing was unbelievable & very abrupt when ordering) the food was very, very good & served quickly. Beer was decent. Temperature of the venue was a little on the chilly side. I would return, but only because the food was delicious.

Cocktails are £3.95 during specific hours. They were nice but pretty basic and not a wide variety. We ate from the 'platter' section of the menu which was detailed on the menu as a skillet of melted cheese and 'plentiful' dough balls- which we were sharing. The meal came quickly but only came with 5 dough balls and seemed a little underwhelming when described as 'plentiful' on the menu. The overall experience was average but probably would not eat there again.

I went there for a drink on a thursday. Nice bar/pub. There was live Music by a femsle singer and a guitarisz with quite some electronics. It actually was good

Poor cold pizza sprouts said crispy just a jar of microwaved mushy sprouts first visit and definitely last and very miserable staff didn’t live up to expectations gone home disappointed

This was a pre booking for 16 work friends on a Friday and we couldn't have been happier, £5 deposit each, which is fair when you are taking up 2 booths, and we were asked when we wanted out food out and it all arrrved like clockwork, together, and all correct, it made the a completely fabulous night good food and great cocktails - thank you Bobbin well done!!

Went for friends birthday party, having never been before. Pre blokes for large party but all the food arrived promptly and was very tasty. Great offer on the cocktails too so enjoyed a nice drink without breaking the bank.

We have heard many good reviews about this place but to date have never been. We visited today at 6.15pm with our two children and we're really welcomed by staff. The offers on the food with wine/beer/soft drinks were excellent value. The food came quickly, it was hot, fresh and delicious. The door was open when we arrived and it was chilly with a fraught but staff shut this for us no problem. This really was family friendly yet a great atmosphere if you want a lovely drink. This was great value for money and I loved the touch of all the pizzas being on a slate board! We will definitely be visiting again-my girls favourite new place!!

Went for a lovely meal with a friend this evening, couldn't fault the food. We chose the bobbin because we had heard the cocktails were good and they did a offer on drinks until 9pm. So just before 9 I went to the bar to get a last cocktail before having to pay full price. The lady behind the bar told me £5.95, I said it's not 9 yet it should be £3.95.

The pizza platters are the best, the onion rings are worth a try if you like them. Try the raspberry Collins cocktail, you won't be sorry. Maybe book a table at the weekend as it can get quite busy in the evenings.

Nipped in with friends for a few drinks, I was pleasantly surprised that they did gluten free pizza base. It wasn't great but the topping was lovely and it filled the spot. Will definitely try again soon

Although this is a pizza bar restaurant the pizza isn't amazing, it's okay. It could be better. The pizzas are normally warm to cold after a few minutes on your table.However they do the best onion rings! Service is good, although a little slow.

Went with a bunch of friends on the 6th May. We managed to reserve a lovely booth table in time for the cocktail offer and pizzas. The first time we visited the bar it took 15 minutes for the two cocktails I'd ordered to be made, and the bartender making them looked like she'd rather be doing anything else. The cocktails themselves were lovely when they arrived, as was the food - particularly the special pizza Trump's Wall and the Cheese and Onion. However, our Camembert sharer we'd asked for as a starter arrived at the same time as the rest of the food and had to be sent back as it was not melted at all. It's a shame that the service was not up to par with the products at the place, because the atmosphere and cocktails are to die for! Perhaps some more experienced, enthusiastic staff would take this place from a 7/10 to a 10/10.

Me and my friends came here last night for cocktails and pizza. The food was amazing and so were the drinks, however at it's longest I was waiting 25 minutes at the bar for one cocktail. The Camembert arrived not melted and had to be sent back, AND our chips arrived 30 minutes after our pizza. The girls who worked on bar couldn't look less enthusiastic if they tried and rude comments were made to customers as they decided what to order. Really disappointing service to say the food and whole vibe is fab. Maybe hire some older more experienced staff to make it more welcoming please...

Myself and two friends decided to spend the afternoon together drinking cocktails. This was my first time in the place and had read lots of varying reviews. It took my friend 15 minutes to get our first cocktail. Not because it was busy but because the guy barman took forever! He was yawning and looking completely disinterested. He forgot to give us the Prosecco shots which my friend had to ask for. So not a great start. It was also freezing in there. We discussed leaving but decided to have another cocktail- by this time there were more staff and we were served quickly and efficiently by a much more cheerful and friendly lad. So we decided to stay put - although it was still freezing! We had more cocktails this time served by the female bar staff who were lovely and really quick - definitely the better staff. We decided to have the pizza platters. The food looked good but it could have been a lot hotter. It's good value for money but the lack of heat let it down. I suppose it was because it was served on cold slate plates in a cold environment.I run a local business and appreciate how hard it is and how 1 bad apple can bring everything else down. My advice - get rid of the yawning barman. Promote one of the girls to manage the place. Get some heating. Get rid of the cold slate plates or train your catering staff to warm them first!

Called in here after reading about the cocktails on line. We also decided to eat here which turned out to be a bit of a mistake hence we only had 1 drink.The bar itself was lovely with good decor and a relaxed setting.We had a couple of different raspberry based drinks which were fresh and really good, bit of a shame there weren't some traditional offerings but not a problem.We both ordered the enchiladas but we barely spotted a piece of mince in the wrap (it was all rice) and was topped with an uncooked tomato paste type topping which ruined any other flavour in there. The pizzas may be better but I wouldn't go back for food.

Having heard good reports from this little unique place, myself and friends decided to give it a try.Place was warm, which is always good in the cold weather, but I found a lack of available cocktails on the menu itself with the staff stating that they are without a manager so no one really knows what they're doing..... an alarming statement to say the least.Food was found to be left in the shelf on the open kitchen for a lengthy time and the chefs were more interested in playing loud heavy metal music and chatting about going out that night.We also observed the staff member in the bar saying to the guys in the kitchen that she's not bothered as she wasn't on that night.This place has the potential if staff were more interested than planning nights out, and gossiping. Food wise the pizza was mediocre, with it not being overly that hot in arrival to us. We also weren't given a check back or have the table cleared until we left. Not sure why though as there was only 3 other customers at the time...?

Been here a few times, nice change from traditional pubs. Fresh cooked pizzas, great cocktails aswell, goes down extremely well, If going to this place on a night out always heavin and be patient as takes a while to get served but great atmosphere.

Had no white rum for Mojito, no kiwi for kiwi martini. Ordered fries and haloumi; fries were frozen, haloumi was deep fried and tasted of vegetable oil. Order a bottle of beer which was warm. Rubbish!

Good atmosphere slightly spoilt by staff shoulder barging every punter out of their way to get past the queue for the bar. This queue would be smaller if the manager decided to serve customers instead of sat ticking his cleaning rota and other admin tasks. Like Harvey's a lot of the queue time is down to making cocktails so not so good if you're just after a pint.Would probably return at a different time of week.

Went out with some friends for pizza and drinks, £10.95 for a pizza with a free drink which was very good value for money. The pizza was delicious, and it was followed up by a load of cocktails which were £3.95 each before 9pm, also very good value for money. The place got very busy at around 9:30pm which on a Friday night is probably to be expected. Will definitely return.

The Christmas Pizza's are delicious and just have all the flavour's of Christmas dinner,the side dish of sprouts and crispy bacon just finish it off.I had the Diavola and found it nice & spicy and a fantastic crispy base. All I can say about the cocktails is please you must try them..............

Came here on recommendation that the pizzas were really good so was excited to try them. Unfortunately I was disappointed, but it could of been so much better. I ordered the Diavola, The Base was home made authentic, perfect in fact, the sauce was really nice but a bit too much, I struggled to find the cheese but the bits I did find were really good mozzarella, plenty of meat toppings but what ruined it the most there must of been 3 whole peppers on top then tipped by a huge amount of jalapeño's, I love jalapeños but this was more like I had a full salad on too of a pizza Base. Inask d for no onion and I think the got extra If I went again I'd ask them to lay off the peppers etc. Front part of the bar is really nice and the live music on a Sunday is a nice touch, the bar itself is a bit stinky and the girl behind the bar on Sunday made the comment after the live music "let's see how long we can leave the music off so everyone goes home!" this was only About 9:30pm but felt I best leave.

Visited The Bobbin on Thursday and it was very good. Friendly staff and good service when we ordered food. Cocktails discounted on Thursday evenings!! There was also live music on which was very good. All in all we had an excellent evening and it had a relaxed but welcoming atmosphere and certainly one we will make a return visit to.

Ate in here for the first time in the week. Went for the Oriental Pizza platter which consisted of pizza flatbread, skinny fries, 2 onion rings and coleslaw. Wasn't keen on the flatbread pizza - the base was really hard and crunchy. Onion rings were huge, great batter but the onion itself - the amount of bits I had to take out my mouth because it was the skin of the onion (sorry for TMI!).The service was hit and miss - the guy in there was extremely friendly, however I found the young female behind the bar to be fairly rude and not friendly in the slightest. She struggled to crack a smile. She also short-changed me by £1 but it was too late to tell her because I had walked away from the bar. I'm glad I've eaten in there because its been on my list a while, but I wont be rushing back.

Decided to pop in as it was hot outside and had outdoor seating. Also had my dog with me. Staff were friendly. Food was very well presented, tasted great and was at a great price. Staff also got a bowl of water for my dog. Will go again

This bar offers so much to a person like me... Great music on the reg, really good pizza and well crafted cocktails, and all for a very reasonable price. Go enjoy the tasty fresh food here and support some local folk who put a lot of pride into their business!

The young staff showed a lack of maturity in serving people at the bar. Choosing to ignore customers waiting to stop and discuss the events of the day at school or college. The Newby bar tender appeared to be awkward and shy serving people. In general the male staff seem to shirk there duties and responsibilities as servers to the public. However the young lady making my Mojita was very able, capable of knocking up a fab Mojita. Nearly as good as the ones back home in Key West. The Duck pizza was fabulous as was my wife's mushroom and ham plus the wine was ok too. Boys pull your socks up and get on it.

Nice pub/rrestaraunt - well set up and ideal for meetings in daytime and partying by night, excellent home made burgers

Never had a bad experience here, always had fab food! You MUST have a pizza when you come here and cocktails are good too!

Visited with friends on Sunday afternoon. Disco with old soul classics from 4pm followed by general disco afterwards. Well patronised and a great time had by all. Cocktails at special price of £3.50 were going down all too quickly and election of pizzas was very good. All freshly made and cooked in proper pizza oven. Interest ' exotic bird' wallpaper matching some of the guests !! lol !! All reasonably priced and good quality. A good time was had by all including those who could not be enticed inside from lovely sunshine on terrace at front.

We've visited The Bobbin on quite a few occasions and I can't say that we've ever been disappointed. The staff seem to be polite and the pizzas are always delicious. However this time we noticed that the portion sizes have considerably downside and so have the toppings which is a such a shame.

Nice service fab cocktails and food was lovely also the young man that looked after us was very kind.

I wasn't that impressed with the food this time as the pizza was over cooked and slightly burnt, I couldn't eat all of it as it was too hard to eat, they usually do good food but dissappointed this time, the service is lovely and the cocktails are wonderful.

This was our first visit to the bobbin in Cleethorpes and what a gem it is. Cleethorpes has some lovely eateries nowadays and Bobbin is one of them. I have quite a few food intolerances and haven't had a pizza for about 18 months. The staff were all very helpful and took the time out to talk me through their menu. The food is so tasty and the portion size was large. I don't like really thick pizza bases, these were lovely, thin and crispy, very authentic. Great value for money too. My only wish is that the chips were nice thick ones instead of French fries, but they were still lovely and tasty.

Really good venue with good range of cocktails and beers and fab pizza. Staff are incredibly attentive and friendly even when really busy. Pizzas are great, really thin and freshly made and good value. Would definitely recommend for a group night out or a meal.

I have been to The Bobbin on multiple occasions for a range of events. Social drinks, catch up meal, a birthday celebration & to watch/listen to the live local musicians - each visit has been pleasant and the staff are always friendly and happy to help. The food is amazing and the cocktails are lush, I 100% recommend the Raspberry Collins! Overall, my experience has always been 10 out of 10 here, highly recommended!!!

Three of us popped in Bobbin tea time last week and dispute being literally the only 3people in the building besides the staff, our pizza platters arrived burnt. Between us we had a veggie option, the duck and the pork, all of which were very dry (and not just due to being burnt). The duck was almost completely tasteless. I like what they are trying to do with the place, unfortunately they are not pulling it off very well. Coleslaw served in jars, and pizza on a slate with frozen chips. All in all very 'meh'.Toilets are located upstairs and pizza averages around £9 each.

booked a table for five at 730 arrived at 730 and was told that they gave our table to someone else said they had us down for 70clock there after we became invisible especialy at the bar were the girl serveing deliberately ignored my wife on 3 occasions to serve her girl friends it made it worse because before she served her friends she looked straight at my wife as if to say regulars and friends first the two boys serving with her just kept their heads down obviously didn't want to deal with the problem will never go there again and suggest any one wanting to try a new place should give this place a miss suggest change of name to ignorant

We walked into Cleethorpes on the coldest night of the year to go to Bobbins for a meal and we were not disappointed! It was surprisingly busy but the service was good and the staff friendly and professional. We had pizza platters which were good value for money and delicious. There was live music which made for a good atmosphere - will be returning very soon

Had a table booked for 18.30...had a meal n was sat enjoyin cocktails n was asked to vacate our table at 20.00 as it was booked out!!!..so we had to stand at tge bar with our drinks!!!...terrible i have never encountered such bad service..will not b returning!

I attend the bobbin regularly for their live music events on a Thursday evening and a Sunday afternoon. The food is always great, we usually go for the pizza platters. Cocktails are on offer at £3.50 during this time and they have a huge selection. Their raspberry Collins is a beaut. The atmosphere is lush with the live music, generally people are attentively watching a polite. Highly recommended.

Everyone raves about the pizzas (which are ace) but the prosciutto salad is bloody brilliant!!!! A healthy option.... Makes me feel less guilt about all the cocktails.

We visited Saturday 7th November and were that impressed that we've booked again for this weekend. Some people have complained about the noise from the bar but it didn't bother us one iota, in fact it added to the atmosphere. 2 pizzas or pizza platters with a bottle of wine for £20!? How can anyone moan about that? I had the pizza platter with duck, spring onions, mozzarella, hoisin sauce & coriander on which was one of the best pizzas I have ever tasted. Hubby was super impressed too with his chilli pizza which was massive! Seriously, try this place you won't be disappointed. I'd book well in advance though, it seems to be popular & now I know why!

im not a massive pizza fan but the pizzas here are gorgeous well worth a visit for something different! funky and fresh vibe in the place and lovely cocktails too!

Had a brilliant evening in the Bobbin, plenty of cocktails to drink at half the price before 9pm and lovely pizza to eat at a very reasonable price - will be eating again!

Ate here on Saturday night, the service was good and the pizza was the best I've ever had. Fantastic value for 2 pizzas and a bottle of wine.

I was a latecomer to the bobbin and have been meaning to try it for a long time, I wasn't disappointed. We enjoyed a few half price cocktails which are creative and tasty, not just the usual suspects other bars offer. We then followed with some pizza and sides which was utterly delicious, if a little too much! Portions are huge and the salads/coleslaw etc all very tasty. Great service with a smile, a nice mixed clientele makes a lovely relaxed atmosphere which is a pleasure to relax in.We will be returning soon, highly recommended!

Went for a friends birthday.. was sat directly by the door on a cold evening.. was told our food couldnt come out at the same time unless we all paid on the same bill.. the pizzas was all very inconsistent... (mainly hard and burnt). No customer service received from staff at all.

Popped in for tea with some friends (4 of us) having not been since the place opened and wasn't let down! We ordered the meal deal of 2 pizzas (any from the menu) and a bottle of wine for £20 between the four of us and there was plenty for us all with a few sides added. The pizzas where excellent, very authentic Italian bases with a variety of toppings to choose from. Food came very quickly and was of excellent quality.Smart, quirky and above all clean setting with good background music too!Will definitely go againCheers Bobbin

Went for the first time on a busy Saturday afternoon with some friends. Didn't know what to expect after looking at some reviews. We were pleasantly surprised, the pizzas were lovely and the staff were really nice and helpful. Will definitely be going back.

The food and service were both superb on our visit last night. Staff went above and beyond to enhance our experience and I would highly recommend this bar/restaurant to anyone. The pizza and drink deals were also fantastic value.

Good food presented well, good service, good value for money (lunch menu) friendly staff, pleasant atmosphere. Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and will definitely return!

Visited here in July as two couples. Table booked for 7.30pm. Ordered 7.45pm. Food arrived 8.30pm.Firstly, the food is incredible and very nice so absolutely no problems with that. We were reserved a table in the bar end and when the food arrived it so was noisy and cramped that we felt awkward eating. We couldn't speak the music was so loud and people were constantly banging into us. Cue an awkward, rushed meal whilst feeling anxious and desperate to leave. It was basically eating in the middle of a club atmosphere. Highly recommend for day but leave the evenings if you want food.

We visited this restaurant in June 2015. Two of our party arrived around 18:30 and asked to reserve a table for 19:00.. the table was then reserved. Our friends then telephoned the other two in the party who then made the trip over to the restaurant for the appointed time. On arrival we were told that all tables were taken. "but we have a reservation" we said, "you only took it 30 minutes ago" we said. "I took your reservation but I didn't promise you a table" the waiter said.He deserved a smack in the face, we just walked out and vowed never to return... we urge you to do likewise.

I've been here twice in the last month and found the service to be first class one young lady in particular is outstanding but they all have a smile and nothing is too much trouble. Both times I have gone for the platter with a drink for £9.95, the food is well cooked, hot, very tasty and well presented. I like the concept of it being a bar with a limited amount of meals rather than an eaterie as such. I've chosen different pizzas both excellent and added a side salad last night again very good quality. Well recommended!

I came here with my boyfriend and family for my dad's birthday and I have to say we all had a fantastic night. We went for the deal with a pizza and a drink, me and my step sister went for two pizzas and a bottle of wine! Went down an absolute treat, I got the oriental pizza that came with duck and hoisin sauce. I chose a platter and got a generous portion of chips, coleslaw and two huge onion rings! It was gorgeous! The staff was friendly, the place has a good atmosphere and the decor is lovely. I will be coming here again next time I am visiting my family again in Cleethorpes. Probably make next time a girly night :-)
