My son's only restaurant he will willing sit in , he has autism and absolutely loves the food ,had his confirmation meal here too ,the staff can't be more friendly and helpful. we all love it .

Very good food and a lovely waitress. The woman with short brown hair and glasses who was the “host” was rude as we walked through the door. Wouldn’t have her on front of house staff.

After standing out in the cold on Saturday night for 10 minutes they eventually opened the door and refused us cause there was 2 of us they had a table free that sits 4 refused us and took people next in the queue cause there was 4 of them will never be back

I was at the blues print a few years ago and i really enjoyed the meal. Recently I noticed that there are people queuing in front of the restaurant. I checked it few times and I think I know what it is all about. The idea of making people wait for the table outside is brutal but brilliant. Food is disappointing. I ordered a starter, fried shrimp with chorizo, simple dish hard to fail At over £8 you will get 4 small shrimps, and few pieces of chorizo. I would price it at £3,40 The meal they were most proud of (according to the menu) pizza Siciliana. Dough too thick, not baked enough, just lazy job. Disappointing. Frozen £1,50 pizza from Lidl taste better. Service… didn’t have one

Popped in for a late lunch. Fantastic starter of prawns and then the BP special pizza. Everything fresh and service friendly, rapid and perfect. Pizza was crisp and Italian like and loaded with tasty super fresh toppings. Lovely atmosphere and my absolute favourite place to eat in Newry.

We came here as previously it was well managed and had good food .Tonight was a nightmare and from the start a lovley blond haired waitress offered us two pizza meals until she realised these were for another table . We ordered one starter and meatball pizza and the meatball dish . After 30 mins the starter came .We ordered a bottle of red and white . Two meatball pizza came down ,which was not what we ordered and I expressed disappointment as I was told it would take some time to cook the correct meal .No attempt was made to put my partners Dish in heated reserve or serve us fresh two meals . I stated I was disappointed and wanted some form of compensation for same .Two minutes later the Manageress came over to challenge me about why I wanted a free meal .She seemed indignant that I reserved the right to complain and said the obvious that I was upset . I have never been in my whole life being in such a badly managed situation and we both left without finishing the one pizza or any of the wine .She vanished leaving a cheeky waitress ( who forgot the menue order ) to charge me over £.60 . The manager slinked out the back door without even attempting to resolve this at the till . This is a badly managed restraunt and I would strongly encourage it's avoidance should the same unfortunate fate befall you .

Pizza must have only been 10”, tasted like an oven pizza and chips. 2.25£ for a dip is very expensive. Very disappointed and won’t be back.

Waited half an hr for 2 pizzas and a side of fries. Too long of a wait for pizzas that are smaller than the average size. Not to mention that they’re undercooked and still very dough like texture.

Ordered the iced tea and it was full of dead ants. Not just one or two but dozens and dozens. Sent it back in shock before being able to take a photo and then left immediately. Not blaming anyone in particular but I’ve never had this happen to me before, waitress was very apologetic.

I have lived and dined in Newry since 2006. Living by the mantra of toy only live once l dine out on an average of twice a week. I can honestly say Blue Print has never failed to disappoint. The choice and quality of food is excellent. While aimed at families it cleverly retains a restaurant quality. Pizza prices are extremely competitive. Believe me when l say you will look forward to a return visit

Medium thin pizza, a bit greasy. I would prefer a thinner stone baked pizza. Cheap and cheerful, good for the kids.

We love blue print and have going for years as a family. Never disappointed with the experience and the food here. Espcially the garlic bread. One of our favourite places to dine, pre and post pandemic the food and experience is always top notch!

Lovely relaxed dining. We were surprised to get a table without a booking as it was one of the last. We shared the prawn and chorizo starter, the starter medley and the American hot pizza. Ever so slightly disappointed that they couldn’t add bacon and cheese to the potato skins in the medley but offer it as a full starter. Also miss the bruschetta from the menu!! Otherwise, we would highly recommend this place for food, service and general atmosphere is great.

This was a lovley tidy pace with friendly staff and good ambience. We didn't have the wait long to be served on our meal which was delicious and very tasty. It wasn't too busy and they kept to both contact tracing and social distancing which really impressed me. I think the only issue putting me off was getting parked as it's quite near two shopping centres but this is only minor as it cooked up a very pleasant meal

We were very disappointed with our pizza tonight! £27 is not acceptable for below average pizzas! The pizzas were luke warm as were the chips, which were a very small portion also! Sadly over priced and under delivered!

Having queued for 15 min. at the door due to Covid restrictions we were eventually shown to a table only to discover that there were nó toilet facilities. The restaurant was pretty fully mainly with family groups so I feel it was totally unacceptable to be open for business particularly in these times when hygiene is so important. I know business has suffered but I feel they should not have been open witout toilet.

The pizzas were delicious and the service was friendly and quick.

Great meal, in particular the BBQ chicken wings. The BBQ sauce is the best I've tasted. Would recommend and can't wait to go back. Not so keen on the QR code menu - it's difficult to read many options at once. Some disposable menus or easy clean menus might be a better idea.

Thoroughly enjoyed my my meal at Blue Print. The starter (buffalo wings) was particularly good, though perhaps a little big as far as starters go. Wasn't able to finish my pizza main meal, but took away in a box for the next day. Good service and nicely presented interior. Would recommend

Really disappointed from the get go, customer service was appalling. Food was absolutely tasteless, we ordered steak and pasta, the steak was hands down the worst iv ever had! It came out swimming in papered sauce so I couldn't see what I was eating, that was most likely done to hide the steak as it was all fatty.. we wont be back and I would not reccomend.

I'm looking for a place to eat for my daughter after her confirmation. I think this is the right place to go. It's really good and the food is amazing.

Never been in here before until Thursday 19th December , my sister myself and my niece . Right beside shops so thought perfect . I couldn’t have been more wrong. The lady who took our drink order was really lovely , but of course she was going off shift at 6pm . All down hill from here . Customer service skills less than zero ( if that’s possible ) kids serving us left us three dishes , no cutlery to eat with( we had to ask for it when we could get someone’s attention ). Every member of staff stood behind counter 5/6 off them chatting to each other , cracking and laughing away .Not one staff member checking the floor or their tables. Not one person checked on us from we sat down until we left. We could not get anyone’s attention to get a drink and extra side ( no up selling / cross selling in this establishment). We had vegetarian lasagne , beef lasagne and pizza , both dishes of lasagne were ridiculously spicy which neither of us could eat . After eating very little and feeling unbelievably dissatisfied, we sat for a further twenty minutes and had to specially ask someone to clear our table and would they mind printing our bill . We got the bill , which my sister took to the till , at which point , there was no eye contact , no communication about our food, experience or conversation in general . My sister and I work in the hospitality industry and both are extremely passionate about our jobs , therefore know how difficult a job it can be , but we’re both astounded at the horrendous experience we had . Needless to say we won’t be back . We all have off days but this establishment needs urgent customer service training , and a staff over haul . Certainly wouldn’t give one star but unfortunately can’t post a review without giving one .

wont be back unfortunately. Took 50 mins to get 4 take away pizzas (while other cooked orders sat in boxes awaiting their customers who ordered by phone) On first ordering I made sure to ask how long it would be as it was extremely busy. They said 25mins. Eventually came after 50mins and much chat between people at till and people operating oven. On asking why it took so long was given a surly response ‘it’s busy’. No attempt to apologise or reduce bill- person at till said the wait is 25mins +......(in a what do you expect way) Not much competition in newry and may explain attitude as they get the business anyway. The small reception area right beside the very busy cooking/prep area was jammed with people, either waiting on tables or waiting on take away. Customers arriving could hardly get in the front door which leads straight into the reception and walk way for servers. The pizza isn’t bad but won’t be back as the layout and the way it’s managed needs to be upped. Could do with a really good front of house communicator.

Lovely pizza, nice thin crust and lots of topping. It was really busy and we had to wait for a table but once we were seated service was swift and very friendly.

Really disappointed. Was expecting great food and a warm welcome. Hostess was so unfriendly. Dirty looks and practically threw menus at us. Clock watching at 925 when open until 11. Sorry but customers deserve better so we left. Went to La Dolce Vita. Friendlier, busier and food was great. Need to work on your service blueprint!

In here on a Friday night, nice atmosphere, food was good but there were loads of little flies landing on glasses and bottle tops/ table etc. Get some form of insect repellent please!

Prices are very reasonable for the quality of food and the wine prices are sensible too. We ate here last week while on a quick family visit to Newry. Found the place on Tripadvisor and we were not disappointed. I had the loaded potato skins and they were loaded and very nice. My husband had the chicken gougons which were also good, for our mains, I chose a Margarita pizza with an extra topping of ground beef. Honey had a very very good spag bol.However, as I was eating my pizza, I started to get some heat. Called over the front of house lady, Michelle and explained. No problem, she immediately organised a plain margarita. It seems the beef had spices and chilli in the mix. Not a lot, but too hot for me. Michelle was so pleasant and dealt with this so efficiently, that this alone would make me return

Great family restautrant and top class food!

One adult and two children all fit spag bol. The children had chicken strips on the side and a portion of fries between the three of us. Two large drinks and a small drink to wash it down. Thank goodness for the drinks, chicken and chips. The spag bol was inedible, absolutely disgusting. The three of us left it after a couple of mouthfuls. The photo below shows just how much each of us left on our plates.I did point out at the point of paying that it was disgusting. The lady on the till charged for everything except the two children’s spag bol. At least that was something but, “hello”, I couldn’t eat mine either. After paying an exorbitant £24 to eat a few side dishes we left and had to go elsewhere to eat something sweet to clean our palates. Extremely disappointed when the lady on the till seemed interested if a little disgruntled at our complaining, to the point I actually heard myself apologising She said it was the same dish as always and hinted that maybe it was us at fault, or at the very least our tastebuds.Bonus point is that the place is spotless.The overwhelming decision by the three of us is to never eat in this establishment again.

After visiting 3 weeks ago we arrived here on Sunday around 4.30pm and seated straight away. Nachos to start, to share they were gorgeous and enough to share for a small starter. We ordered a pizza and the tagliatelle alfredo, both delicious as always. Will definitely be back soon.

Had lunch with 3 adults and 2 kids on bank holiday Monday. Lunch specials don't apply on menu provided because it's a bank holiday. Long story short, if your looking good food at a reasonable price look elsewhere. 65 pound for no starters or deserts

We went here for first time Friday night to try it out.They don't take bookings so we turned up at about 7.30 ,and the place was very busy .We got seated right away and orders taken ,casual seating,fairly close together.Good was good as was the portions.Good value, Would recommend for casual bite.Service was very good with pleasant staff.

I dine in newry regularly. I enjoy coming to blue print as it is cheap and tasty food. Service is great, girls are all very helpful. Definelty try the millionaires shortcake! Will be back

Came here last night with my husband and daughter. It was 9.30pm and we were worried we were too late. Quite the oppossite. The staff couldnt have been nicer. Such a choice. Portions were unreal really had no need for a starter each. The burger was amazing nicest ive ever tasted. It was 3 fine pure meat burger stacked with gerhkins.onoin i had bacon as an extra. Served with fries. Husbands starter were the stuffed mushrooms again the nicest he had ever tasted. He had burger also. My daughter had the bruschetta again the best. She had hot pizza had to take half home. T i had the buffollo wings to start fab. Everything was piping hot and clearly freshly cooked. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Definately be back here..

My family went here on Saturday evening and the staff and food were amazing . The restaurant was very busy yet the service was excellent waitress were top class nothing was too much trouble and everyone of them smiled and were so pleasant ...a lovely experience and the food was class too.

Visited with my partner after trekking round the City of Merchants Festival. Despite being a busy Friday night in the town, the restaurant coped well with constant demand.

Blue print staff are by far the rudest staff I’ve ever came across. They prioritise adult customers over myself, a student, by walking past me and my friends and serving older people before us even when are front of them in the line. Also, they don’t use a simple ‘please’ or ‘thank you’ and their attitude made me want to leave.

This restaurant is always very busy and you may have to wait on a table. There are more families eating here due to the great menu to suit all types of palet. Children are always suited to their needs and are well looked after. Staff are so friendly and helpful especially Ciara who has served us on many ocassions. Food is wonderful and the price is very reasonable. Good atmosphere.

Dreadful vegetarian lasagne. Bechamel sauce overload and practically no vegetables. The sauce had turned pink and it resembled the texture of blamange. Very off putting indeed. When paying the bill, which was pricey enough with extra charges for dips, I mentioned my concerns about the foamy gloop that made up the majority of what should have been a vegetable lasagne to be met with a very negative response from both the cashier and the waitress. No offer to discount, no apology. Very offputting customer service.
