Had the pepperoni pizza with garlic mushrooms and a side of slaw. It was absolutely delicious

Not value for money, not good food, pizzas are extremely thin and cheap, dirty, and staff are not polite

Probably best to stick with pizzas here. I got the pulled beef nachos and honestly for the price there wasn't much beef. But it was a nice atmosphere and you could order from the table.

Absolutely amazing and delicious. Will definitely be back whenever we are in Birmingham next!! The G.O.A.T pizza was divine.

Were told tables were reserved and had to sit outside which we accepted but said please let us know if they don't turn up, we asked 3 times if we could go inside and they still refused due to reserved table and we were there for over an hour and the place was half full!! They told us at 5.45 that reserved tables were late and still by 6 wouldn't let us inside... If people are 30 mins late then surely you should give the table up!!

Nice food. Shame about the service. Loads of tables free inside but didn't let us move in over the course of an hour or more. Questionable service when requesting a refund on drinks that weren't poured. Could have been a great experience but sadly let down by no care for customer service.

Staff lied saying the drinks had been poured when we asked for a refund because it was too cold outside. also suggested it was too busy for a table inside when it was empty the entire time we ate. Awful customer service.

Really nice food, could be more vegan options but the pizza I had was delicious to be fair. The tater tots are so good. We ordered through the app, my friend ordered a pizza with chilli on it and they only told him when they brought it to the table that they had run out of chilli.

Had a salad. I know, really let the side down on this one. But my friend said her pizza was delicious! (Actually she said one of the best she's had in Birmingham, but I can't verify because... salad). But I'll tell you what, if you like garlic bread, THIS garlic bread is unreal. We need it mass producing please.

Las pizzas eran increíbles, pero como nos habíamos llenado de entrantes, todos luchamos por terminarlas. Las bebidas estaban bien, el servicio era un poco lento y no son tan generosos con las bebidas como la comida. Buena relación calidad-precio a £ 29 por cabeza y fue agradable, pero si usted está buscando más de un ambiente de fiesta esto no es. Aunque disfrutamos y fue sin duda una de las mejores pizzas que he probado.

Popped in for a quick bite as we were staying at the Holiday Inn for a night and this restaurant was a brief 5 minutes walk away. We booked for 5pm and there were 3 of us. Two of us had pizzas and one had nachos. We shared garlic bread a portion of tater tots. Service was swift and server was friendly, we were seated at a long table with benches, only downside was the noise from the tables either side, totally just a me issue though. Food was really good, fresh, hot and huge portions. Cost was reasonable £14 for the pizzas and £12 for nachos. All in all I would recommend a visit.

Primero no vayas aquí por comodidad. Si hubiéramos sabido que eran bancos, compartidos con otros habría reservado en otro lugar. Pedí pollo, cebolla, pimiento asado, maíz dulce y pizza de cebolla. La pizza llegó rápido, pero ¿dónde está la cobertura. Contaba unos 5 granos de maíz dulce. Uno de los ingredientes más baratos, una lata entera es solo 30 p en Asda! Los pimientos no estaban asados y estaban empapados como en salmuera. Sobreprecio por cantidad de cobertura. El restaurante estaba frío y los botines eran aún más fríos. Lamento no volver.

The staff were friendly WHEN they remembered us. When we arrived we were given a menu and told to find a seat (wasn't hard place was dead) waited ages to get service after we sat. It's was freezing I was close to eating with my coat on and we were nowhere near the door. The ladies toilet was 2 cubicle's 1 was out of order and the other was very dark (the toilet is 1 place you don't need dark atmosphere lighting) so I ended up using the disabled toilet (I am disabled so do have the right to) but yes can say we will not be going back.

Ideally placed close to the train station & near the Alexandra theatre which is where we were going to see a show. There's a good range of cider, so if you like your cider this place is worth a visit. The food was good & reasonably priced. The benches that are around the tables aren't the most comfortable, but the place has a good social atmosphere.

It was a pleasure catching up with lovely connections and having an amazing evening with all lovely people

Recientemente cené en The Stable, un restaurante conocido por su pizza y su amplia selección de sidras y cervezas. Curioso por la calidad, pedí una pizza clásica de pepperoni. La corteza de masa madre casera realmente destacaba: era crujiente en el fondo con una textura esponjosa y ligera que se equilibraba perfectamente. Maridada con una salsa casera, la pizza tenía un sabor fresco y bien hecho. Aunque la corteza parecía poco cocida a primera vista, definitivamente no lo era: su textura era un poco más suave que la corteza delgada típica, lo que se suma a la experiencia única. Los ingredientes se sintieron cuidadosamente seleccionados, con sabores que trabajaron juntos maravillosamente. Los precios eran razonables, especialmente para Inglaterra, y el servicio rápido se sumó a la experiencia gastronómica relajada pero eficiente. Con su ambiente acogedor, deliciosa pizza y excelentes opciones de sidra, The Stable fue un placer. Lo recomendaría para una comida casual y sin duda volvería a comer allí!

The food here was of excellent quality and a good range of local ales were avaliable. Service was slow however but friendly. Nice decor inside. Would visit again.

Nice pizzas, but don't love this order from an app. And the waitress had her thumb in my glass.. If you can't carry the goods get a tray... Not loving the refectory tables and benches. Not cosy, it's like they don't want you to stay. No music. Not really worth the price.

Love it here. Such a chilled vibe. Great for a drink after work. The staff are always really friendly and helpful. The pizzas taste great (especially the vegan Hakuna Burrata and Aubergine Kenobi which can be vegan too). Also recommend the Kickin’ Cajun Tater Tots. My other half loves their own cider (Rapscallion) and I love the alcohol free Ruby Spritz. Well worth a visit to this or one of their other locations (the cider tasting board is fun too!)

It is super fast. Good food. You have to order the food and drinks with scanning a qr code.

Great place with great ciders (and some beers). We've been before and loved it, but this time the staff were not very helpful or friendly.

Very disappointing visit. We had been looking forward to our pizza tonight but when we tried to order, they were out of gluten free bases. There was no warning of this until ordering and meant there were limited options (only salad). Incredibly disappointing as this would not have happened with the non-gluten free bases. I had seen this restaurant highly recommended for gluten free but after this visit, I had to find another place to visit on short notice and don't think I will be returning.

A lovely atmosphere with delicious pizza and an amazing range of local and national ciders. Super fast service and great for anyone who loves a crispy thin crust sourdough with fresh parsley 👌🏼 very tasty but light and leaves plenty of room for ciders to be enjoyed

Had a lovely vegan margherita and tater tots with chipotle mayo. The dip was soo amazing I had to order more to smother the tots in. Was abit loud and lively for me but given the business and crowd it was expected.

Pre theatre food and drink. Service was great and food was amazing. It was early evening so very quiet. Would be ideal for a a large group.

Melissa was super attentive and refreshing our drinks every half an hour minimum. Great food too and atmosphere!

Empezamos bien, nos sentamos rápidamente y nos atienden rápidamente. La comida y las bebidas eran agradables también. Sin embargo, el servicio era deficiente Nadie preguntó si necesitábamos algo más. nadie preguntó cómo era la comida, etc., y nadie despejó las placas y nadie vino a cobrar factura después de esperar 30 minutos tuvimos que ir al bar donde todos los servidores estaban charlando y ni siquiera estaba ocupado. Hemos estado en el establo muchas veces y estaba muy decepcionado con el servicio. Formar parte de la industria hotelera anteriormente. Probablemente lo echaré de menos por un tiempo. Qué pena.

Lovely food and friendly service

Popped in on bank holiday Sunday, found a table outside & stood at the door waiting & waiting & waiting…. I saw a guy on the bar & said we’d found a table outside & could I please just grab 2 beers, I wasn’t expecting table service & was willing to pay for the beers there & then. To be asked have you got a booking? I said no & was it ok to grab 2 beers & sit outside. He told me no as we didn’t have a booking, even though plenty of free tables outside with no reserve signs on. Another couple outside said they’d been told the same but then another waiter did let them have some drinks. It was all very bizarre as I was already at the bar, willing to get my own beers & pay & take them outside to our table, even though the guy on the bar was just stood there doing nothing he wouldn’t let us have a drink due to not having a booking. I mean who books in for a beer.??Abrupt & hostile manager (bearded guy) I work in hospitality myself & he clearly needs training on how to talk to customers and he’s clearly losing you trade. Anyway we went round the corner to The railway for a beer, was welcomed and no problems. Would not return to The stables on principle of how we were spoken to by staff.

We went to the stable for a bottomless brunch, the service was brilliant, Georgia was very attentive and had great customer service skills. The food and drinks were flowing during the duration of our time slot and we never had an empty glass! Highly recommend, good food, nice drinks, good service and a nice selection of food/drink. Will return.

Massive variety of pizzas and drinks. Excellent service and the pizzas were perfect, not salty either compared to alot of other pizza places.

Tough one to review, as the staff are friendly but no where to be seen once the order is placed. No one really wonders about to see if you need anything, you have to approach the counter for anything more. Although the food seems fresh it takes a fair while to come out to you. It's nice but not amazing. Seeing as it seemed quiet in there I thought it would be out pretty quick, sadly not. For the price of it all for the food you get, its ok. Hence the average rating.

Absolutely lovely place, food was delicious, not too busy as a Thursday night but that's what we wanted. We ended up getting a pepperoni pizza (absolutely lovely base), cheesy garlic bread, homeslaw and tater tots to share between us (it ended up being too much, delicious defeat!) In total we spent about £45 plus a tip which we thought was very reasonable for the amount of food and 2 rounds of drink (2 alcoholic drinks 2 soft drinks)

New tots recipe? Tots not great now. Very sad Mango cider got worse too :(

Best bottomless brunch ever! I love the waitress Georgia she is the best

Joined for the bottomless brunch, absolutely astounded by the service and value for money. £29 per person for a standard bottomless brunch, £8 extra if you want cocktails. Menu attached. Georgia was our waitress and as someone who has tried other bottomless brunches, this was by far the best service. Never waiting for a refill, polite check in's for extra drinks or if everything was ok with the food (which was plenty of it!). Really enjoyed the laid back atmosphere and amazing service. Recommend this to recent couples and group parties. Special thanks to Georgia for being an amazing waitress. Really made our experience special.

A good cider drinking public house with plenty to choose from

Worst pizza I've had in a long time. Under proven and underbaked based. Tasteless.

Food was pretty good, I got the new vegan pizza and I was a little lack luster and a little pricey but not too bad for all intents and purposes. I like the style of the place and the tables and chairs but some other people found the chairs a little hard

Great food, quick and efficient service!

This is a pizza joint and does what it says on the tin. As a non pizza lover, I expected there to be other options but was disappointed with the woeful lack of choice. 1 salad which had goats cheese (I don't like goats cheese), 3 nachos, and 3 man n cheese options. That's it. Couldn't even make a starter combo because the starters were pizza. My nephew ordered the Burger on the dancefloor pizza and really enjoyed it. I ordered the meaty Mac n cheese which turned out to be stone cold (fridge temp) in the middle. This was early, there was hardly anyone else there so now excuse for this. No one came to see if the food was ok so had to go and tell them. To be fair they were then great, they apologised sincerely and took it off the bill. I thought that was it but they brought me a replacement. Unfortunately my nephew had finished eating then so I was sat eating alone. And, sadly, they had heated it so much that the pasta had disintegrated and the meat on top was burnt. To be honest, it wasn't very nice but, given I wasn't paying for it now and we were going to a concert, I couldn't be bothered to say anything again. We finished off by sharing a bus off cheesecake which was delicious. All in all, if you don't like pizza, go somewhere else, especially if you have dietary requirements. Won't be back.

Great place for cider tasting. They had 10 different ones with the possibility to order a tasting board. Ordering and paying was comfortable via QR code at the table.

I walked in here just a couple of minutes before boarding a train from Birmingham new street and was very much In the mood for pizzas. I was a little worried about how long it might take and they didn’t disappoint. I got the BFC which tasted amazing alongside a lovely drink made by Becky . The thin crust pizzas are just gorgeous and your should definitely try!

Have been before (few years ago) and service and food were great, this time it was quite grim. We were brought our drinks by staff holding glasses by the rim, tables were dirty, and there were used women’s sanitary products all over the floor in the ladies toilets.

Bottomless brunch was great value for money. The food was delicious, and they had drinks options for everyone (beer, cider, bubbles, and cocktails). My personal favourite was the candyfloss pink gin. The staff were welcoming and kept us topped up with drinks. Recommend this place,100%.

We came here for a friend’s birthday and we had a great time. The food was really good and the portion sizes were brilliant, we were so full! The saver menu prices were amazing value so we were able to enjoy ourselves without worrying about the price. The Boss Pepperoni pizza, Nearly Naked tater tots, and Sheppy’s Elderflower cider were all delicious. The staff were so friendly which makes such a positive difference to dining experiences.

1st time here , and what a delight, service was friendly, helpful and quick , food was lovely , brilliant veggie/ vegan options, thoroughly lovely place

Wonderful Pizzas, we normally call in for a drink as we are always made welcome by the lovely bar staff in particular Guy, who is always friendly. Weve now tried the pizzas and i would say the best weve ever had , how we have missed out, the lovely chef adam is a very talented chef , best toppings ever. And Adam goes out of his way to welcome us. See you all next week.

Beware—they claim to open at 11:30am and will let you make a reservation at this time. But when you turn up they’ll make you stand outside in the rain until 12 saying they aren’t open yet.

Jon, Guy and all the team at the Stables were brilliant hosts for our big work event and ensured the whole thing ran smoothly. There were over 100 guests however that did not seem to faze the team in the slightest who were dancing away with our guests whilst working hard! The food was excellent, all in line with our pre-order, and communication from the team to us was great as it guaranteed the night was exactly how we wanted it. A massive thanks to all the team – we would not hesitate to use The Stables again for our national work events! Thank you, HCB Solicitors.

I can easily see why this place is so popular . Paid a return visit and had a gluten free dairy free meaty pizza, with one of their several types of cider and beer on offer. Staff are enthusiastic to please their customers with pizza as you like it and a good knowledge of the numerous ( probably about 20) types of cider on offer, including flat ciders, draught ciders and bottled cider including the vintage one I tried. The pizza was absolutely fantastic, I’m guessing it may have been better than the regular pizza. Really cool place, and cool customers too. Within stones throw of New Street train station and close to EasyHotel. I’ll absolutely visit again. Great friendly and knowledgeable staff.5/5!!

EDIT Been back, found the tip from a biro in my mouth whilst eating my pizza. No-one came to check on us so had to call someone over, no apology from either of the staff members told, they refunded my pizza, but not anything else my table ordered (where did the rest of the biro go?) or my beer. Said they would find out how it happened but I heard nothing back. Awful. These things happen but this service is appalling. Avoid.

A wide variety of really tasty pizzas and beer-hall style seating for large groups. A great time!

It was very busy which is to be expected on a Saturday, but they put the tables so close together we couldn't get out without physically touching the people behind us which wasn't very pleasant. Think they could think more about customer experience than squeezing more tables in to make more money. That made me very anxious. But in terms of the food, that was amazing! I had a vegan pizza and it was the best vegan pizza I've ever had. I really dislike vegan mozzarella and this pizza had an alternative which was vegan burrata which was delicious. Also it was pay before you eat on the app or at the bar, which is great because we could just leave when we were ready. Would recommend for people who don't mind busy spaces.

Mit Pizza hat es nicht viel zu tun. Fertig Produkte, herzlos zubereitet. Küche war unterbesetzt, dies hatte zur Folge, dass es längere Wartezeit gab. Service gleich null, da alles über eine app läuft. Sehr mühsam, registration und so weiter.

What a great venue to sample some delicious ciders. We started with the sample paddle, then ordered a pint of Lilley's Bee Sting and a Cockeyed Cider Co Monkey Mango. We shared a Hawaiian Five-Oh pizza, Aioli Want To Be With You tatter tots and a house salad - all very tasty choices. This place has a great vibe, great for small or large groups. Well located, close to the train station.

Fantastic quality Pizza 🍕 (Yum Yum) the base is thin and crunchy and as good as a stone oven. Wonderful sides and you do not have to spend 1/2 an hour going through choices on the menu. Wonderful selection of beers 🍻 Great first time experience thank you 🥰

Met up with work colleagues for a bite to eat..not much on the menu, apart from pizzas. Plenty of seating areas, tables large enough to accommodate large groups of people.
