What a fantastic little chippy. We sat in and had an amazing plate of cod, chips and mushy peas. Staff were so friendly and first class service.

The fish always tastes fresh and melts in your mouth. I would definitely recommend the haddock or cod. Chip portions are plentiful.

We had our family evening fish and chips take away here on a Friday night and it was excellent food, well served and all the food wasn't fatty and really tasty. All good value.

So glad to have had Café Bonbon recommended to me by word of mouth. What an excellently-run café! David is a friendly and accommodating proprietor, nothing seems too much trouble and he takes time to genuinely engage with customers. Placing an order a day in advance went smoothly. David was helpful and efficient in responding to both phone and email enquiries and his communication was excellent, which is always a godsend, especially these days. The sandwiches are fresh, tasty and made with care. Superb choice of fillings and dressings! The cakes are also delicious, fresh and interesting. All in all, good value for money. A wholly positive experience, and one that you only get when someone loves what they do. Looking forward to returning in the future! Thank you David and David.

42 High StreetLovely afternoon tea for three. Two of us vegetarian but didn't feel like we missed out at all. Everything freshly prepared and friendly service - even after I got the time wrong and arrived 30 mins later than expected! Would recommend highly.

3 High StreetWhat a great place! The breakfast was excellent, the decor beautifully done with a mixture of themes and all the staff were fabulously cheerful and helpful. What’s not to like? Great to see an independent doing so well in these days of multinational chains. They have lots of regulars coming in and not surprising! Highly recommended! Thank you to you all.

13-15A Grove StreetWe have visited the restaurant twice & on each occasion enjoyed the food & atmosphere. Aisha was a wonderful host & made sure we were looked after & nothing was too much trouble. The chaat bombs & mango kulfi went down an absolute treat……delicious! Definitely will be coming back again & recommend this highly.

Beer cocktail and wine were very good quality All food was very good in flavour, quantity and thoroughly enjoyed. Service was spot on. Would definitely return when in the area
