No longer The Begging dog. It has closed and changed hands.

Called in on Friday to try this place out and was not disappointed. 3 of us in total having sweet chilli chicken, alpha burger and roast beef baguette. Food was well presented, good portion size and tasted delicious. We called again for Sunday lunch 2 having roast chicken and 1 had roast beef. Again good portion size and delicious food. For dessert we tried vanilla cheesecake and the banana loaf. Again this was amazing. Bar area is dog friendly. Staff are very attentive. Would recommend The Begging Dog to anyone as we were not disappointed. (Ps I dont like asparagus or broccoli so gave it the other half)

Never really got to find out how good the place was. Had heard good reports so wanted to try it out. Called in for a drink last night only to be ridiculed by some of your 'clientele' Didnt even get to finish our drinks as we didnt feel comfortable at all. Unfortunately I wont go back as that experience just ruined it for us

Great value, 3 starters for a tenner, absolutely top quality food and friendly service, would definitely recommend. :)

Had the most beautiful meal with my 75 year old mum. No problems getting access for her to the restaurant. Comfy seating.Staff so friendly. And food outstanding. Will defo be back
