Only popped in for a quick pint, Madri was the only beer I could see it was lovely and cold, served in the correct branded glass, by a very friendly barmaid

Few drinks .. Good DJ playing great music.. Staff were friendly.

Nice, established pub in New Eltham. My first visit. Nice staff and excellent pint of Guinness. Very comfy sofas at the end that you sink in to.

Had a couple of beers in here last Saturday at around 6:30, pretty quiet, quick service. Seemed like a nice pub.

I stopped in her one lunchtime while waiting for you car’s mot test to be done. Frankly I wish I had not bothered. It is a dismal place. No real ale - only beerless pumps stand sadly on the bar. I was forced to take a Guinness. It was almost empty, which was a good thing, as this place is renown for a somewhat unfriendly and aggressive clientele. Never again!

Attended a funeral here. Nice venue, friendly, welcoming staff. Entertainment weekends available. Car park available at back of pub. Blossoms cafe provided food for wake hot and cold choices. Gave four stars as the ladies' toilet needs a lock on the door as broken. It's definitely worth visiting.

Very Rude Big Owner, Touched Me Without My Consent And Staff Were Really Really Really Slow, Had To Wait More Than 10 Minutes To Order. I Would Tell You More But They Will Know It’s Me But DO NOT COME HERE EVERYONE

I asked for a quote for a wake, I spoke with Fiona. I was told £10 per head. When I phoned to book for 10 people I was told it was £150! When I queried this Fiona said she could do it for £130, the costs were due to the extra staff she'd need. I had enough to do so booked anyway, I wish I hadn't. The area we were given was nice, at the end of the bar out of the way of everyone else. There was one girl behind the bar, so NO extra staff. I don't think any soft drinks were included in the cost, if they were we didn't get any. There was a pump flask of hot water for tea or coffee on a tiny table. It's not acceptable to provide a flask of hot water at a wake in a quite pub. The buffet savouries were mostly ok but the sandwiches looked like they'd been thrown at the platter, the tiny sausage rolls were very poor quality but worst of all was the cake stand contents. On top was a sliced Swiss roll, in the middle was rich tea biscuits. Who does rich tea biscuits as a sweet at a wake?! On the bottom layer was half a dozen bourbons and half a dozen custard creams. This was Lazy, poor quality and a rip off. If you're considering a wake there, don't presume Fiona will provide a decent spread.

A dark wood and etched glass classic of a pub. Would definitely recommend.

A very nice hostelry, with an off-road carpark. Helpful and pleasant staff makes a visit an enjoyment.

Do not book a table at this pub they have a group of girls in there that are going around nicking people things the owner knows about this and was very rude to us when our things had been stolen, also lots of drug being offered around the place which the owner knows about this has all been reported to the police

A local pub, could be sooooo much better than what it is. I will never spend my money in there again. After going there on Saturday night, the DJ was unneccessarily rude. He thinks its ok to use the mike to belittle women. The owner did not deal with the situation appropriately, and just smirked. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME GOING THERE.

What a massive disappointing night, hoped to have a dance with girlfriends only to be met by rudest DJ , instead of playing music to his audience , which was only us girls dancing, he took it upon himself to be so rude and disrespectful, we will Never go in there again

The Beehive is my local pub, which I’ve frequented many times but never never again! As a group of Ladies out for a drink and a dance, the resident Saturday DJ refused to play a request, he then decided to belittle us over the mike to the rest of the pub with his arrogance and unprofessionalism. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!!

Great pub, not to far from the train station after work

Just make sure you go there with someone who drinks in there regularly. Definite atmosphere when you walk in and you ain't local. The beer is also more expensive than others in the area.

Nice pub for a meet up with mates if you're over 25. Nicely decorated and serves some nice booze. DJ of a weekend is a good way to end a nice afternoon then into the night. Barmaids need to be a little more attentive as few people were waiting to be served while they were grouped together chatting. They were lovely though. Toilets were clean which is always good to see anywhere. Overall a nice place to go.

Great place to meet like minded people. LGBTQ+ very welcome.

Thank you to Gemma and the team. Just had my Dads wake there. There was plenty of buffett for the guests all served with a smile. Nice extra was the scones, cream and jam. Everyone enjoyed what we had. At a reasonable price too. 100 per cent recommend them for any occasion.

Rude staff with an unwelcoming attitude. It’s the kind of place that you get stared down upon entering if you’re not a regular. Looks nice from the outside, but as mentioned by previous reviews, is a dump.

Met a friend here for a couple of beers, sat outside on a sunny day, first time at a pub for months due to lockdown, has to be 5☆

My Wife and I have used the Beehive on and of for years .it's always been a nice friendly place to go for a pint.

Tables and chairs filthy,no sanitisation. Service slow even though not busy.

Superb atmosphere (even with current restrictions), very friendly

Was coping well before lockdown the lady taking orders for outside tables deserved a medal. Good banter, efficient and friendly. Lovely lady.

Used to be a great pub. Sadly it is now a place for fights drugs and loud people

I met a few friends here to watch rugby at the suggestion of one of the group. I had never heard of the Beehive before never mind drunk there. I found the pub to be cosy and clean. The staff were polite and quick to serve. The beer was good, in short I had an enjoyable time. The Beehive was a pleasant pub and one that I would recommend.

It's an alright boozer but no food

I posted this for the reason you will see below, however, following a lenghty appeal process, right has been done and my "Fine" was cancelled. I have therefore revised my rating to 5* because that is what the venue deserves, providing they cancel the parking issue. ENJOY your time at The Beehive! but beware of the parking notices. BEWARE......the welcome here will be greeted by a £100 PCN for using their car park.........,UNLESS that is you are able to spot those "unseen by my wife and me" on our visit on 18th Dec. We will , of course NOT pay this PCN but expect reports of the court visit on this and all social media. Had to post 1* but should be zero.

Went on a Monday night quiet as expected but bar woman rude and prices so expensive for a local pub could go up London cheaper. Lower the prices you’d get more custom makes sense and you could afford decent staff

A lovely nice lively pub in the heart of the town with a good range of spirits beers and food. The pub has a wonderful ambiance with a dj playing on the weekends. It has a nice happy crowd and is a big space. The service staff are very courteous. A generally nice pub to have a few drinks and continue the night or just a lovely meal along with friends and family. A wee wonder and just close to the train station

If you go here for a drink, expect to get a hundred quid parking fine from civil enforcement for using the car park. Didn't see the ipad on the bar as my partner bought drinks. Staff wholly unhelpful and attitude was basically "theres a screen on the bar" Poor signage in car park. Particularly when dark and peeing with rain. Foul experience.

Only been here once it's a massive pub when you walk in you feel absolutely lost they don't do no food it was completely empty when I went it's a shame if they do food and decorated the place I think it would do well but wouldn't go back again unless I only wanted a drink

Depending on wether the pumps have been cleaned the beer is ok. The prices are quite expensive for around the area.

Very nice and frendly pub. Every weekend had a somebody who sing or DJ.

Ridiculously expensive and staff who are only interested in getting you out of there as quickly as possible. You have to decant your drinks into plastic cups ten minutes after last orders. At £4 a pint you expect to be treated with a little more class. Toilets stink. If they run out of beer they cannot be bothered to change the barrel. A local dump at West End prices.
