Talk about how to treat your customers, I walked in just to have the barman and friends laughing at me and nastily whispering, I turned around and walked out, good for nothing bullies

I went with a group of friends to the the bear for my mate's birthday. Within an hour the bar started closing, they didn't say anything about last call and my friends put some money in to the pool table. The barmaid comes out having a go at them saying "come on guys, no, i said drink up we're going to be closing soon". Prior to all this i had put money into the jukebox (£2 for 11 tracks) and most of that got wasted because of the closing. When i inquired about a possible refund the barmaid rudely told me that it wasn't her problem. The barmaid was so rude and patronising that i don't want to go here again, especially if i am going to be talked down to like that. It's a shame because this place could've been amazing, instead the night was left on a sour note. I will reiterate that we were not notified of a last call nor we my friends given any time to finish their drinks before leaving. Never coming here again.

Well established local cafe friendly staff . Value for your money it is clean and bright. It is in a great location in the town center and very convenient to transportation with a taxi rank (all local firms) right out side door. Also directly cross the road are bus stops where the local and surrounding areas busses pickup and drop off a tiny walk to a safe "zebra crossing" is.

Very friendly, good food, good price.
