Ordered the chili jam and peanut butter burger. What can I say? The beef patty was obviously homemade but it was dry and very bland. No lettuce and no other garnishes. The brioche bun wasn't toasted. There was just absolutely no special touch to this burger at all. It was like whoever made it had no inspiration and just couldn't be effed. Peanut butter and chili jam is a nice combination and it's the only thing that persuaded me to keep eating...until I found a hair in the burger (quite obviously a beard hair...I hope...) MR SOUVLAKI in the same food hall was even worse; their "greek salad" was literally just chopped up, bland, unripe, watery tomatoes with red onion with one piece of dry deep fried breaded halloumi. Probably cost 50p to make and with a box of basic factory produced frozen fries cost over £10.00. I don't know which of these businesses is worse and I'm really surprised, appalled actually, that these lazy excuses for "chefs" and "street food businesses" are taking customer's money and running businesses on such depressing, overpriced, sh*tty, boring, dreary food that has no passion or inspiration in it. If you don't know how to make good food what's the point in even working in this field? Easy money via ripping people off? I would advise you to steer clear of the 5 valleys food hall and go up to Falafel Mama or The Retreat instead (probably the best food options in Stroud). They will sustain your faith in the food culture of this town and this country.

Amazing burgers best we have ever had!! Not keen on burgers normally but this place came highly recommended so we thought we would try it,glad we did!!! The chef was lovely and helpful!!

Came here in Stroud food market and had a burger and pork belly bits and they were lovely. Really enjoyed and reasonably priced.

How yummy… don’t really do burgers, but this was delicious and highly recommended. Credit too to the gent who served us and told us about the local ingredients used.

Disappointed - I was brought in by the Bbq hype but got served up a sloppy burger in a wet, greasy bun. I was surprised the burger is just fried on a hot plate. I was perhaps expecting a bbq?? Maybe that’s how it’s supposed to be ?? However I found it hard to eat with an unpleasant mouthfeel due to the squishy greasiness. Also meat was bland and not much flavour, just salty. I used several serviettes to mop up oil. I would have binned it but for the fact is paid for it and I was starving Sadly nothing special and at £9.50, a very expensive burger that wasn’t any better than a burger van? I’m sure the other items they do are good, burger was not the right choice for me I don’t like to leave negative reviews but this felt a bit amateur and I wouldn’t go back and I don’t anyone else will find this to be good value

Not quite sure what went wrong with my burger but it disintegrated as soon as I picked it up. The flavours were good but sadly a lot of the sauce ended up on my hands and clothes. At £7 for a burger without fries you expect it to at least stay together.

Been to Gloucester branch a couple of times now, so when in Stroud, had to check them out. Went for the New Yorker .. OMG ... great double patty with the addition of pastrami and pickles / relish. WHAT'S NOT TO LOVE ! Had the fries with bacon dust :) frazzle chips ! A busy saturday but the food was prepared within 15 minutes, cooked from scratch. Great food. Dont miss out :)
