It was early on a Saturday night. We had a table booked for 7.30. Really liked the atmosphere and the decor of the bar. Something really different for Stirling/Bridge of Allan. Has the feel of a bigger city bar. We had a table by the fire which was great. However by 8pm a DJ had appeared and cranked up the volume. The music was generally ok but was just far too loud. We couldn't hear each other. It isn't a nightclub, at least not at at 8pm in the evening :) We asked for it to be turned down and it was for 5 mins then I could see the DJ turning it up again. It would have been more balanced at a lower volume, at that time of night. Simple solution. Turn it up after food has been eaten and the kitchen closed. We ate up as quickly as possible and left. We would go back but not for food and probably on a quieter evening.

December 2024: I have since been back for another visit - this time for an evening meal. Service was superb again and the food was lovely. Opted for a steak flatbread with loaded fries to share. Such a fantastic visit again and will keep on my list to return back again! September 2024: Visited here for brunch and it did not disappoint. We had a voucher for a two-person brunch and cocktail. I ordered a full Scottish breakfast with tea (swap for the cocktail). The food was incredible and the portion size was very generous. As drinks were served before the meal, by the time food came, I was running low on tea so I was offered additional water to top up the tea pot - might not seem like a big gesture, but this offer and attention to giving the best experience was well received. Staff were very welcoming, helpful and attentive. Venue itself had a lovely relaxed atmosphere and the tables were nicely spaced out so it didn't have the crowded feeling. Nice decor, giving off a really nice vibe. Overall, we had a super experience and will be returning for sure. Highly recommend the full breakfast!

Had a lovely lunch here. Definitely recommend the flatbread and the chicken starter with the hot sauce.

Really nice place, would recommend the charcuterie board. Staff are really attentive and friendly and the atmosphere is lovely

Love this place, food is delicious, atmosphere is great, especially when there is a DJ or Jazz band in over the weekends. Service is good too, although sometimes Staff could be more attentive and a little faster to react. Overall it's a great place to be.

We went to eat with a group of 10 and they treated us excellently, good food and very good service, the waiters were super friendly, polite and attentive. Highly recommended.

Second visit here and again the food was really good! Felix was brilliant, really nice young man with exceptional customer service.

Live music was lovely but table only available right next to singer so couldn't talk and had to leave to go elsewhere to eat.³

The venue is lovely. Loved the refurb, soft furnishings and the general look of the bar. Flowers everywhere. 😊😊 Staff were attentive, professional, friendly, welcoming and efficient with a sense of humour thrown in. We ordered a small plate of loaded fries. I was worried that they might be heavy. Not at all. Fresh, zingy but not too zingy - and very tasty. Just the right size of portion too. The band playing! Superb! Saxophonist? Amazing. Female singer superb too. Guy who sang Sting? Wow! And Stevie Wonder...👏👏👏. The whole band and experience very much a quality act. Thank you! What a lovely way to spend a grey, wet and windy January afternoon. Lovely location; beautiful surroundings; tasty food; lovely service; warm company; and great music and atmosphere. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

1st time visiting here and I really enjoyed it the cocktails were fantastic and all the staff were very helpful and friendly will definitely visit again and try the food.

Used to be a hotel. Now subdivided into multi-uses including this ground floor bar. Friendly staff, open fire, music at a comfortable level a very nice pint of Madri and the tapas dishes were excellent. Highly recommend.

I attended a Christmas party at The Baw Bee last night and had a wonderful time. The welcome and service from the staff was amazing. The hot buffet was top class and the atmosphere made for a truly memorable evening. Highly recommend visit. I would be surprised if you are not equally impressed.
