i found it very expensive at£13.60 for 2 x chips peas and gravy. definitely wont be going back. the food was average at best

My weekly treat and the most spotless clean chippy anywhere! And the food is quality! all fresh salad with a crunch on your packed chicken kebab on a large nam! ! Plus, pleasant people,service with a smile! The quality and cleanliness of this takeaway the standards never drop! A must visit chippy! See you Friday!😁

So I am a customer for this place for the past 5-6 years now. I can truly say these are the best kebabs. And I love the kebabs!!!! When I have people over I always offer them to try this place. Never disappointed. Highly recommend

We had fish and chips and chicken kebab, fish was cooked perfectly and kebab was delicious. Staff are so friendly. We'll be back 🙂

Having visited quite a few times over the last 6 months the food has always been excellent but the last couple of week we have had 2 takeaways and the chips have been either over cooked or warmed up from lunchtime. My son even requested fresh chips and when he brought them home they were terrible again they have been either refried or reheated. Kebabs are fine but wouldn’t recommend the chips

Amazing staff. Amazing burgers- I try them every weekend. Fresh with special bun - fully loaded by fresh salad. My little daughter loves the burger. The shop is very clean and people are genuinely kind. Highly recommend.

A great place to nip out and grab some fish and chips. Great service and lovely staff. A nice fish tank to keep you occupied whilst waiting. A wide range of options (fish, chips, scallops, kebabs, and more).

I came across this gem in passing. Super clean, lovely atmosphere and pleasant, friendly,polite, informative and welcoming staff. Huge portions of chips, curry and boiled rice. Their boiled rice is amazing....saffron infused, really great price. This has become my fav chippy which i travel to get too.

Best chippy/kebab shop in wythenshawe

Called to ask if they were halal. Lady on the phone told me fish, chips and kebab were halal (obviously proving that she did not know what halal meant). When my friend went to collect the “halal” kebabs, the lady used the same gloves to pack another customers pork sausages as our supposed halal order. Will not be returning, I am very sure this place cannot guarantee food is kept halal.

Twice now I have asked for medium/ rare lamb shish only to have it rubberised by over cooked meat ! The meat is carved & served & so obviously over cooked ! A very expensive disappointing meal !

Brilliant chips will be back here first time trying the place last week.

Been here a few times, but 9 times out of 10 the chips are awful. The chicken burger is OK. But overall really disappointing. Going to stop using this place as the portion of chips we had last week were the WORST!

I'm no expert in fish and chips but their doner and chips is outstanding. The staff is very friendly, especially the owner, who works there himself.

Fish and chips, Kebabs, burgers. Sadly they are cash only, but there is a free to use cash machine in the Tesco next door. Don't think it's going to be a nasty chippy because it's not exclusively fish and chips. It's probably one of the best I've tried! It's a little bit pricy but the quality speaks for itself. The staff are bubbly and chatty. One of the few places that still sell chicken and mushroom pies too! (An odd one I know but I love them). Would recommend their spring rolls! They're huge but to die for.

In summary "meh". It's an ok price, and I a great they avoid plastic containers, but the fish isn't great. It was more wet than crispy, and it sticks to the paper to the point where a decent portion of the batter comes off the fish. It's also cash only, but there is an ATM a few doors down in the Tesco. Overall pretty disappointed

Just asked for 2 PLAIN chicken Kababs salad and no sauce ! Husband just ate some it was NOT plain it was spicy . Due to medical reasons he can not eat spices at the moment ! He was immediately sick and in pain . I phoned to ask what was in the chicken she asked the manager he said it’s marinated in garlic , peppers and other stuff . I explained he can’t eat spice hence why I asked for PLAIN . The response was our customers mean no sauce when they say plain all take always have something on there chicken except Nando’s . I don’t know what you want me to do - the the manager told her to say he’d put a PLAIN chicken breast on the grill if I want . No thanks my husband can’t eat now , I just needed to know what was in it that’s set his problem off. It’s not about the £14 plus I’d paid but the fact it’s affected his health . Oh and to say their customers mean no sauce - I’ve been going to that chippy for 32 years ! It should be clear if I say plain chicken and then I’m asked after di you want sauce . No just plain chicken and no sauce that is exactly what I mean .

Used to be a regular customer here but I wouldn't go again, the chips tasted like they were left over from lunch. When Yiani run this chip shop the food was sensational, never had any bad food from yiani. The people who run the store now are not even in the same league.

The chips were ok - strangely slightly greasy. The fish - “all our fish are large” - was mostly batter and the fish itself was somehow a bit slimy. Not pleasant - will not go back.

Went in 8;30 on sat night asked for 2 fish sorry only got one so ended up with the worst fishcake and preheated overcooked chips ever not a proper Chippy

Over priced, greasy fish, actually a more accurate description would be  batter with a hint of fish rather than the other way round. I was visiting a relative. Clearly there is no competition. Where I live there are several fish & chip shops and there would not be a second visit to a place like this. Also no card machine, hard to believe in this day & age.

I am a regular customer of the battered cod u till this evening. My wife called for a kebab for me, I can honestly say.... I got the worse kebab I've ever had and this hurts me to say it from here. Hardly any salad and lumps of donner meat which basically looks like the waste off the bottom of the old spit. Sorry, but you have lost the business of me and the local pub.

Really enjoyed the chips, the were crisp and tasted great. My little one had a happy meals and the portion would of fees an adult. Would definitely recommend.

Normally good, but 9.20pm and I'm told that I am too late for fish. That would be fine, but they have a sign up whuch states in BIG letters that the cut off time for fish frying is 9:30pm. This was 9:20 and i rushed to get there at that time, safe in the knowledge that last fry time is 9.30pm. Obviously the staff want to be out of the door. Either that or they simply couldn't be bothered. One p****d Off customer. I've written all this back home and it's still not 9.30 !! Good old customer service seems to be a thing off the past these days.

The meal was the best I have ever had I had a doner kabbab with something else tonight the 28/01/2016 Thursday the kabbab had so much favour I was lost for words I would definitely recommend this place for your dinner and tea please you will not be disappointed with your meal it is a shame that they don't deliver they are on moorcroft rd Wythenshawe Manchester if you are hungry tonight don't hesitate just go.
