Lovely café which has a nice, open garden with beautiful views. We ordered two of their pastas for lunch and they were to die for! Would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Love this cafe. Dog friendly. Seating inside and out. Easy parking. Really friendly service, always greeted with a smile. Amazing coffee, (hard to find in UK) and love the added bonus of a piece of shortbread with my coffee. This cafe is organised and would give 6 * if I could.

Bold statement but I believe this place does the best chips (fries/frites) I have EVER had. Crisp on the outside soft on the inside. We went for Sunday lunch and I had the burger, which was delicious. Our party also ordered the roast pork and beef and both really enjoyed them. A delightful barn, with a very cosy atmosphere and great service. Highly recommend a visit if you can. Our visit was in Autumn and I hear summer is even better with the field of horses out the back.

Visited for a Sunday lunch, was very quiet as I believe they had only recently started offering roasts (hence the 3 for atmosphere). Building is a beautiful old barn with a lovely outside space for warmer days, staff were very attentive and the food was excellent. Will definitely return.

We had a delicious lunch here today - an amazing home made burger and a lovely roast! The breakfast looked incredible too - we were sad to have missed it until we saw our lunch! 😀 Lovely friendly service and an idyllic setting with horses to watch in the field beyond as you eat in the sunny garden!

Visiting friends who suggested the Barn for lunch and well worth the visit with dogs! Our first visit and hopefully not our last, a great time was had by all.

I have just arrived home after having breakfast at ‘The Barn Cafe’. You are first greeted by a warm atmosphere that sets you up for a great experience. The building it self is amazing with the rustic beams and charm. The food and service was incredible. The menu has a wide range to offer something for everybody. You can tell a lot of passion goes into to making you food and all of these dishes. I would highly recommended and I will be visiting again soon.

We just had a delicious breakfast at the Barn Cafe. We found the food to be excellent and good value for money, supported by friendly service in a beautiful building. Dog-friendly too! We came for lunch a few weeks ago which was lovely as well, and we are making plans to come back for dinner in the restaurant later this month. Definitely worth stopping if you are driving by!

Was reluctant to go as put off by the extortionate prices of coffee at £4.50! Compare this to The Fern Cafe at the Fernhurst Pavilion down the road where there is also good quality coffee at a fraction of the price. Again, The Lions Den in Haslemere serves amazing good quality coffee at £2.75. Both these places are dog friendly too. I really do not understand why the coffee at The Barn is priced so high. Nevertheless, I tried The Barn out and yes the coffee was made well, but unlikely to return due to the cost. Unable to comment on the food as the jackfruit vegetarian option I wanted to try was not available. Love the surroundings of the the cafe and was excited to see it open, shame about the pricing.

Very welcoming and friendly! I am not local and dropped in on a Tuesday - cafe was officially closed but the door was open so I went in - owner came to say hello and very generously and kindly made me a coffee, even though they weren't open, as I had a two-hour drive ahead. Refuse to let me pay for the coffee, so kind and so rare these days. Coffee was delicious, and I'll be back to visit and eat when I'm in the area. :)

The barn cafe is new, only recently opened by the owners of Banyan. The food was DELICIOUS, however the service was slightly lacking, and they were let down by an inexperienced teenager serving tables. I have no doubt that the issues with timings and service however would be ironed out with time and staff training and experience. The atmos is lovely and the venue is beautiful, brunches were delicious and drinks were great. Things that could do with improving: a pot of tea for two instead of individual teapots for each cup of tea, butter served as a given with breakfasts, and finally, an Indian breakfast offering!! It seems like a missed opportunity being the owners of Banyan not to pull from this and make Indian cuisine breakfasts - people would travel far and wide for them! Especially me!! Overall, a lovely venue for a great breakfast. Will 100% return.

Exceeded all expectations! Brilliant food, exceptional service, and stunning views! It's diverse and different from The Banyan, but if you have ever eaten there you know what level of quality to expect at the barn cafe. Highly recommended!

Stopped off for a pre-dog walk breakfast on a Friday morning at 9.30, and was very glad I did! I’d almost lost hope of finding a decent cafe in the area that was open for breakfast, whilst being dog friendly, as sadly we had a particularly grotty experience at a nearby venue recently. I ordered the vegetarian cooked breakfast with apple juice, and husband had the full English with hot chocolate. I’ve got to say, it was the best we’ve experienced and surprisingly good value for food that has obviously been freshly prepared. The home made bubble and squeak was unbelievable, the vege sausages were soooo good and the way they prepare the sliced ciabatta toast was inspired. The eggs were also cooked to perfection. Husband raved about his meal too, although Scooby the dog was less impressed. He was very disappointed about the lack of leftovers! 🤣

Lovely location and really friendly service. I really want them to do well, so just a couple of tips, it would be nice if the orange juice was freshly squeezed, or that it didn’t taste like it had come from a carton. Also if the menu descriptions were a bit more detailed. I ordered the mushrooms on toast which were very delicious, but I hadn’t expected them to be in a cream sauce. Because of my cholesterol i wouldn’t have ordered them if I had realised. Of course I could’ve asked how they’re made… otherwise really lovely breakfast, especially the toast! We will definitely be going back!

At last, somewhere easily accessible where you can just pull in, settle yourself down in the roomy barn, or the pretty garden, order a reasonably priced meal and a drink (the coffee being particularly good), and meet up with friends in a pleasant and relaxed environment.

I am writting this on behalf of my husband.... Tried the brownie. Being a brownie buff I love to find new brownies. I must say this one was quite unconventional... however! This was truly delicious and one of the best brownies I have ever had. I am dissapointed I only got one. The gentleman that baked them is a trur master. Thank you kind sir

The Notso Sunday Roast is well worth a try. 'Family' sharing platter was plentiful and excellent value. Classic sides support a trio of meats, all very well cooked and very tasty. We weren't surprised to hear that next week (and the last for 2024) is nearly sold out. If you are thinking about it, get booking, you won't be disappointed. Well done Charlie and Team, hope to see it return for November '25.
