A great independent baker's shop. A plethora of items, including, as sampled today, very well filled breakfast sandwiches, a wide variety of 5 star pies, extremely naughty cream cakes but equally nice and loads of other stuff. Lots of staff give you friendly service either gusto. Well done.

We visited The Bakery and got some pies and sweets to take away. It was really busy and staff were really friendly and welcoming. We got 4 pies for £5.50 which was a steal – we couldn’t believe the sign when we saw it, but it wasn’t false advertising! The pies we chose were cheese & onion, meat & potato, steak and one with mushy peas. We also got a Bakewell slice and a chocolate brownie slice. These were around £1.70 each (we think….), so pricier than the pies. We scoffed the sweets first and they were both really good – texture was nice and chewy and provided the sweet treat we needed. We gave the meat & potato pie to a friend who enjoyed it. The pastry on the pies we had was excellent – thin & crisp – one of the best pie pastries we have had. The filling of the pies were good too, and was a good amount and not stingy like some pies you get. The seasoning and flavours were on point and the only thing that could have been improved was the filling with the mushy peas which was way too sweet. Overall, we were really impressed with the quality of the treats we got and would definitely recommend The Bakery to others, and also hope to visit again in future. Generally great quality bakes for a good price. Check them out!!

Friendly and welcoming little cafe. Lovely coffee, good service, best cakes. We had the banana bread -moist, spiced and topped with nuts and seeds- and an iced lemon polenta cake also delicious.

This happens everytime we order, we should of recieved dips with the crinkle fries, the footlong pepperoni dipper and with the cheesy bites. I even tried to call the store beforehand knowing this would happen but the number provided is incorrect!

41 Barker StThe service & staff were pleasant. The food was little better than mediocre. The most outstanding aspect of this experience of eating at Greggs, Cherry St Birmigham was the filthy condition. There were straws on the seats. Servietes on the floor and ripped up sugar containers, all littering the floor. The place wasn't that big and would only have taken 3 or 4 minuets to clean. I asked how they can serve people food in such a dirty environment. I was told they were too busy to clean. I said what about the 2 people in the back, that I could clearly see. She siad do you want to go and ask them? I declined. They have got their priorities wrong. Clean first, serve food second, but then I suppose it's all about making money. I certainly won't go back, and nor will I go to another Greggs.

98 Church Lane HarpurheyI go to The Wok for years. Love my sweet and sour Chicken with soft noodles if is freshly cooked :) sometimes happens that the chicken taste dry and chewy but most of the time is ok. Wondering why they have been closed for so long but finally they reopen and today I am going to get my favorite 😍
