The Acapella in Leeds

Been here a few times for drinks on Saturday and can often be a good atmosphere however last night was not a good experience. A party was on which there was no indication of this and so being locals we walking in only to get hurled with abuse that we are not welcome. The owner should have taken control of this situation and should maybe make clear when the establishment is closed for private parties as locals actually carry that place on weekends there re no booking. Anyway my contribution had now been withdrawn as for many other locals that experienced this ridiculousness last night.

Shocking experience, don’t advertise cocktails if you’re not training your staff to make them!! One girl was by herself on shift, took an order for our cocktails then proceeded to make and deliver one at a time which took over 30 minutes (for 3 drinks). Never in my life have I been given a £9 Margarita made with LIME CORDIAL!!!!! Feel bad for the girl as she was obviously out of her depth & shouldn’t have been alone on shift?

Well, a big disappointment to say the least. I was expecting a grill, you know, like it says above the door. Big Saturday Night. Not even a bag of chips were on offer. So after that disappointment, I thought we'd have 1 drink & move on to find food elsewhere. Strawberry 🍓 Daiquiri FFS. If there was a mouthful in the size of that glass I'd be lying. 💯 % ridiculously sized & priced. See below photo. £8.00 for that. Geeez. £16 for 2 minute drinks? Daylight robbery...never again will I darken that joint pffft

Great place we went down for the quiz on Thursday, it is run very well, the owners are lovely people and they have recruited a great team would reccomend the quiz every week, called into the pub whilst football was on as well it’s great for sport

Absolutely great place to go, great vibes and amazing staff. Would highly recommend. Such a great place to bring your friends and family for a fantastic night out.

Lovely bar/restaurant, comfortable and inviting. Food looked great but didn't eat this time. There is a really good mix of food available that can please anyone. We will be back to eat and enjoy some of the Live entertainment as was a DJ on this particular Saturday. Margarita were fab and there are offers on cocktails. Worth a trip out of town for sure and to top it off the Bar staff were very helpful, welcoming and eager to help.

Was there on Saturday had a mixed grill and enjoyed the music and ambiance with my family. Such a good location and easy to park. I have booked tickets for the Motown night at the weekend looking forward to this dinner and dance.

Great little new bar and restaurant. We didn't eat so cannot comment on the food. The owners and staff are very welcoming. We were there quite early so not very full but I'm sure gets going later in the evening. As the name suggests there's live music acts on each evening, this Saturday it was a lone singer/guitarist, sorry I forgot his name, but he was great, played popular songs. Plenty of seating outside in the sunshine 🌞
