Visited on an evening while working away from home and had a chat about music with staff and a regular. Very much enjoyed the brief visit, especially the decor.

A very quirky pub full of locals. But you don't get the "you're not local" stare when walking in. Didn't feel out of place drinking here and would definitely visit again.

Always visit when I am staying in the area, they have some great beers & ales, good atmosphere and friendly bar staff. Very quirky interior and dog friendly. Sea view in the window seats.

This was the first drinking establishment we came to and so that's where we started. It looked very charming from the outside, once inside the shipwreck theme became quite clear. Lots of wood everywhere, not the most comfortable of seating but ok. We were made to feel very welcome as first time visitors to Seaton Carew. The pub has a warm, friendly atmosphere. Plenty of choice for beer 🍺 drinkers, slightly less for wine lovers, but we had a really enjoyable evening here.

Stumbled across this hidden little Gem whilst killing time before my train, Great decor inside, good selection of ales, as well as other alcoholic beverages. Definatly popping down again.

The 9 Anchors doesn't do food but it's a great what I would call a micro pub, dogs are welcome too which is great, it's lovely and cozy inside. A perfect stop for a pint and a break from this British weather. Would definitely recommend xx

What a find Went back to this pub because it was so friendly and I loved the quiz hosted by the Croc friendly staff.

Cosy , unique and great place to stop for a pint

This has become our local pub because it is so dog friendly, they have treats and water inside and our border now stops at the front door as we pass. It is nice and busy Friday and Saturday nights, a quieter during the week, but great selection of Ales, including neck oil on tap.

A quirky bar with a good choice of craft beer. Sadly, there were a few too many dogs in the bar at the time of our visit.

Nipped in for a couple of beers, first time visitor, great well pulled pint of ale, good atmosphere, and friendly, polite young man serving, definitely be back.

Absolutely brilliant micropub. Have now met all three bar staff over three consecutive Sundays and all are really friendly. Nice rotation of ales keeps us coming back for more beer and chatter. Dog friendly means we can walk Storm and Shadow for a pint before (or after) lunch. Recommended to any one who likes a small local friendly pub with great ale.

Good selection of craft beers (at least 4 on tap) with good quality (I.e they seem to take care of the beer) Interior decoration is very interesting, making it a pleasant place to visit

A small but great little pub, on yhe front of Seaton, friendly staff and often some great beers on. Its not very big so its easy for it to be very warm and welcoming, lots of locals and a wonderful part is that is that it's dog friendly.

Great venue, friendly, warm and cosy pub, ultra dog-friendly and pay by card. No food served here, just crisps and nuts. Great location on the sea front. Will definitely return.

Great place for a few pints this, good selection on tap and seating is quite cosy. Could use some cushions on the chairs though.

Very unusual pub my sons girlfriends family took us there they sell a pint called portland its a little like guiness but smoother it was very busy and right on the promenade great little pub

Lovely little bar with plenty of ipa brews and mainstream drinks also. Friendly atmosphere, no kids allowed though but dogs welcome.

Fantastic. Passing by Seaton for one night and enjoyed a few drinks here. Beers great, some locally brewed. Young lady serving was welcoming, helpful and friendly.

Uniquely styled , small from outside but actually a bit of a tardis as it does go back . Loved the beachy vibe with all the wood decor and driftwood chairs and tables. Only problem was my friends pint toppled on the table , and told it was second time that night 😂🍺..nice friendly ambience though so enjoyed the visit and sure to go back 🥂😁

Fantastic place-and beer defo well kept-a secret of seaton carew that people need to discover.....tho if it gets too busy may lose a little charm.....unless they get bigger. But anyone who likes good beer and the feel of driftwood and the ideas of what can be done with it....this is the place to go. Is on my list to come back to again and again :)

Nice little pub opposite the beach dog friendly nice beer Bowl of water and treats on the bar for the pooches. Only drawback was we were the only customers in the pub at the time so was very quiet. Could of done with a bit of mysic.
