Grace Restaraunt & Bar in Hartlepool

Enjoyed a fabulous meal at Grace's this evening. Couldn't fault the service or the food in any way......Starters of Belly Pork/black pudding; Squid rings; Parmo bites, Mains of Fillet steak; Sea bass; Brisket Yorkshire wraps (perfect gravy and veg cooked to perfection). Very comfortable seating and table setting. Would have given 5 stars for atmosphere, except there was only us in there! Amazing for a Saturday evening! Enjoyed our own company regardless, but would highly recommend this 'gem' to anyone. Faultless!

Afternoon tea today...really nice ..good selection of sweet and savoury..and plenty of it. Excellent value...great service..would recommend.

My wife and I had the absolute pleasure of having a meal at Graces yesterday evening. The staff were polite, attentive and friendly. The starters, mains and sides were absolutely exceptional based on the price point. The black pudding Scotch egg was well presented, perfectly cooked and delicious. We will definitely be going back.

Sunday lunch was very good, although more green vegetables would have been good, on our last visit the vegetables were in abundance. The staff were friendly but we asked four times for the air-conditioning to be turned off, we were wet when we arrived and sitting in the cold our clothes were getting colder and colder and it was very unpleasant

The quality of the food was excellent, especially the parmesan chicken salad . Great cheesecake. A bit of disappointing for my friend , as she said that the stake portion was a bit small for 26£ . Great drinks but not a large diversity. Nice, friendly staff . 👌 thank you guys

Great food, very reasonably priced and a lovely atmosphere. What more could you want from a night out. I am only an occasional visitor to Hartlepool, but when in town, this is the only place to eat.

Not sure why you advertise breast of chicken in peppercorn sauce with a choice of vegetables or homemade chips when it arrives with chicken and roasties PLUS the chips you've ordered 😳 random!!!!

Probably the most random row of pubs/restaurants I've ever seen, however this place was worth walking past all the other establishment's, as soon as we walked in I knew we'd made a great choice, warm friendly welcome even though we hadn't booked, no problem though. Staff were so attentive, and the food was excellent 👌

Amazing sharing steak platter, 3 cuts of steak, fries, 3 sauces, garlic prawns, onion rings which were delicious along with mushrooms, tomatoes, salad and mac n cheese. Worth every penny

The food, atmosphere and staff were great, only negative was that we waited quite a while for our main course but wouldn't stop us going again, lovely place and great food

Sunday afternoon dinner. PLEASE turn the music down!! I’ve come to a restaurant, not a bloody fun bar or disco!! It should be back ground music.

Had a fantastic 70th birthday meal in this beautiful restaurant. The food was superb, fantastic music and really good service. Will definitely be recommending this restaurant and returning for another visit very soon. Couldn’t fault it.

Whenever we come up from Lincoln, we visit Grace's Bar and Restaurant. Food always excellent and staff very friendly and efficient. Looking forward to Christmas Day

I went in Friday late tea time with my children without a reservation and the lovely staff found me a table quickly. Food was so nice, my 9 year old ate from the adult menu. They have a special menu on 5-7pm, 2 courses for £12 and 3 for £15 and my 7 year old ordered from the childrens menu (meal was huge) for £6 but this included a cordial drink and I paid an extra £1 to add ice cream. The staff were really warm and courteous, especially the young waitress with the red hair, she was really nice and even though they were all juggling larger tables orders, she stayed attentive throughout our stay. Kids loved it and wanted to return again the following day. I didn't take any photos as I was too busy enjoying the food

We weren't made aware that the full menu wasn't available at the time of our booking which led to a little disappointment with some of the guests at our table however we were all able to find something from the set menu to suit. The food was excellent, red hot and wasn't rushed. The girls were very polite and helpful and the atmosphere and music was great. Also 3 courses for £15 turned out to be a bargain. We'll definitely visit again.

Staff were absolutely lovely and welcoming. Food tasted gorgeous! Waited quite a while for food, however, the staff did acknowledge and apologize for the delay so I didn't mind. Small portions for the price, left still very hungry and £40 down.

I've been here the last 2 Wednesday tea time I can not fault anything I've had to eat infact the blackpudding scotch egg is very very yummy.

Gorgeous food, lovely friendly staff

Had sunday lunch with my wife and little girl today. Food was very nice. Fresh and well cooked. Food prices were reasonable at £8.50 for a main and £4.50 for desert. Also children eat free on a sunday so my little girl got her main course sunday lunch for free. Drinks were a bit pricey at £4.80 for a pint and £2.65 for a small lime and soda. All in all a very good meal with very good service.

The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The food is very well presented and delicious. Steak night on a Thursday is a very reasonable £10, there is a choice of cuts of meat plus chips and onion rings.
