Amazing service, amazing food! We tried some of the small plates, sharing platers and a main. Portions are excellent- we had to take some home. Gorgeous presentation and the cocktails were fab too! Will be returning

Delicious food, lovely ambiance and great staff. If you like Thai food, you'll love it here. It's a bit hidden away from town centre - though not far and definitely worth the trip.

Fabulous in every way. We’ve been here twice and both times didn’t disappoint The staff offer a warm welcome and are attentive throughout. The food is superb and generous. Can’t fault anything.

After eating at Terminal 1 we had try out Lee & Apples new place, start with the interior, looks amazing guys. Well done. Food was fabulous, eating my main took me straight back to eating in Bangkok / Phuket, must go back there. Drinks, had a good choice and my wife's cocktails were top class. Overall great place great food and service was A1 5stars all the way.

Fantastic Thai food, and you can choose your spice level making it ideal for all diners. Will definitely come again. Jungle curry was perfect.

Had been to their previous restaurant of Thai had terminal 1 which was fantastic. This held up to the same quality food and service. Great Pad Pril Pao, Lamb masaman & black bean.

Spectacular place, decor, environment atmosphere all perfect. The menu is great and the food is delicious. Service was top quality with Shannon and Katie taking care of food and drinks for us. Never an empty glass and the food came out perfectly timed. You have yo go here for the North Easts' premier dining night out!

First visit to Taipan last night and it won’t be the last, what a fabulous restaurant, modern and stylish, a great addition to Darlington town centre, the food was delicious, couldn’t fault it and the staff were lovely, attentive, chatty and made us feel very welcome! First time here since the renovation. Service was fantastic; we felt very welcome with great recommendations too from the owner. Food was sublime. Definitely will be returning to make our way through the menu. Finally we have found a fantastic local Thai!!!

My second time at this lovely restaurant and it was just as wonderful as the first time. The food is fresh, authentic & tasted divine, and the service is always exceptional. The staff always go out of their way to provide a perfect dining experience. They are all so friendly & we are really excited for their next venture, which I’m sure will be a huge success! Ate here as a family earlier in the week. My mum and her partner had been before and highly recommend but the first time for everyone else. Food was fantastic, delicious from start to finish! Also quick and attentive service. We will definitely be back 😊

This was our second visit to Thai Terminal 1 and certainly will not be our last. The food is delicious, the staff are friendly and attentive and the menu offers a good choice of dishes to suit all tastes. Don't be put off by the slightly strange location it really is a hidden gem and well worth a visit. Highly recommended!

Once again we had a lovely meal with friends. Have been a few times now with family and friends and always recommend it to others. Food is freshly cooked, delicious and a good choice for everyone. All staff friendly and give a good service. We will be again in a few weeks with friends.

Once again had a great evening here @ Thai Terminal 1. The staff and manager/ owner Lee were fantastic. With Lee offering great advice on menu options. I went with the jungle curry was fantastic ( although hotter than I expected) but I was warned. Altogether a great night and would recommend to anyone who like Thai food.
