Delicious Thai food! Very authentic especially the Pad Thai which was yummy! Service was extremely good and it was so refreshing to be served by such friendly welcoming people! Keep up the excellent work! We loved it!

Impromptu visit after running the marathon. Pleasantly surprised at the food quality. Very tasty Ped Makam and coconut rice. Spot on. Lovely staff, great atmosphere. Sadly it’s unlikely we’ll visit Morecambe again as this was a one off race! That said if we did we’d be back. 😊👍

Excellent food and service. We chose from the Thai selection after sharing a plate of shredded duck with pancakes. We dined very early so the restaurant was quiet. We both enjoyed our main courses. The ine was reasonably priced

Fast service, friendly and helpful staff. The food was not particularly special or memorable however, despite the prices being equivalent to what I'd pay down south for a good quality Thai meal. I can't say the food was bad, but it was not made with a lot of love, it all felt a bit slapdash and one of those meals you eat because you're starving hungry and it fills a hole, rather than for the love of it.

Our hotel recommended this place. Great reviews on Tripadvisor. But unfortunately we were left feeling disappointed. We had the sizzling steaks. The cut of meats weren’t the best quality, The chips and onion rings are of the frozen variety and tasted like it. The menu said you’d get “a” mushroom. We got half a mushroom each. Now that’s being price sensitive. The scallops tasted lovely and fresh though. The table for two not big enough for the cooking board. The service was just ok. We weren’t charged for a drink showing lack of attention to detail. Overall a disappointing meal which is sad, because I’ve wasted my money and most importantly my time. Unfortunately, I won’t be back.

We went for the Chiang Mai set menu. Very tasty, well cooked and served piping hot Very pleasant service and would definitely recommend

We popped in here on a night away. We only had a couple of starters and drinks but the staff were lovely and the food was absolutely delicious. We had crispy duck and tom yum soup, I can tell you was the tastiest Thai soup I’ve ever had. Next time we’re in town going to 100 % pay this lovely place another visit.

A restaurant I always visit when I’m in Morecambe! Whether you like Steak or Thai food, I defy you to be disappointed with the choice of their menu selection. Just off the Morecambe front, it’s very centrally situated to find & walk too. As you would expect a very comprehensive drinks menu for you to peruse and accompany your meal. Always steak up to now everytime amazing cuts of meat great service Visit often & highly recommend Need to try the Thai tho! My only suggestion is brighten it up with lights white paint rather than dark wood but always clean & busy

We visited the Black stone grill as our local football team were playing at Morecambe,we had not booked for the Saturday night but they found us a table straight away,we soon ordered food and drinks and I have got to say the food was ever so tasty would return if in the area again.Very good lady waiting on.

What a fabulous meal we had here with excellent service! We were staying at The Midland but were disappointed with their menu so we booked in here are were pleased we did! Our starter was a mixed Thai sharing platter, which was delicious, followed by steak on a stone! I haven’t got a bad thing to say it was all fabulous and we left nothing! The staff were all very friendly and looked after us, it really was a wonderful meal?

My sister and brother in law visited last year. They treated my mum and myself. Firstly, staff were fab. 3 of us ordered the fillet steak. Cooked ourselves, never ever have i tasted steak like it. Absolutely delicious and plentiful. Mum opted for a thai curry, staff were very accommodating, mum cant do a hot one 😁, thoroughly enjoyed, great atmosphere. 10/10. Def going to come back. First ever visit here, excellent starter (squid) and main course (fried chicken in potato basket). Beautifully presented, friendly service and all the food on other tables looked lovely as well! Will definitely visit again!

Had a lovely meal. The staff were friendly and attentive. There was a wide, and varied selection of food. Have been before for a stake. This time had a Thai meal. Curry was subtle and tasty. Will definitely return.

Me and my friend were looking forward to a nice meal here after people had said how good it was.We were seated and sat there a good 20 minutes till we got menus and our drinks order taken and even then we had to ask for them.The place was very busy and there was only 3 staff on.The Upstairs restaurant area was full too as you have to walk through it to get to the toilets.To me the building is dated and needs a total refurbishment.The top floor where the toilets are is awful.Its full of old furniture,kitchen equipment,boxes piled up and basically old tat.Peeling wallpaper and looks dirty.We ordered sharing duck pancakes.This took another 45 mins to arrive.The couple that were on the next table had waited a long time for their starter and they were going to leave if the mains were not going to arrive soon.They complained.Our starter was very nice.They cleared our plates and we then waited for what seemed an ice age for our steaks.The staff were very apologetic.They offered us another glass of wine on the house.You would have thought that if the restaurant was fully booked they would have got more staff to cover or not booked as many people in if they didn't have enough staff.When the steaks came on the hot stone the smoke was horrendous it filled the whole restaurant.There was no ventilation for it to escape.Cooking ur own steak took another age to do.The chips were cheap and not very nice.I ordered peppercorn sauce and they gave me Stilton instead,they didn't come and explain to me they didn't have peppercorn.No tomatoes or mushrooms they had run out of those too.The steak was fatty and really not the best meat.We felt really sorry for the staff,they were clearly stressed as people were complaining.How they didn't walk out i don't know.They were trying their best bless them and did keep apologising.To me they concentrate on Just Eat deliveries which I believe they had had a massive problem with earlier.We said we were not going to pay the full bill.They took £10 off each steak which was ok as we had had drink on the house also.Ive noticed that the owners of this restaurant do not put a reply under each review,they obviously do not read them.I think the food hygiene and safety people need to go in and check this place over including the toilets and other areas.Will I be returning?Definitely not.

The steak is to die for, 10 of us went for a birthday meal and we thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered. Will visit again soon!!

Had a meal here on our visit to Morecambe a few weeks ago. The evening started so well, being shown efficiently to a nice table, being served with a nice bottle of wine, lovely starters, we were generally impressed with the place. However, I ordered scallops for my main course which sadly were very undercooked and were inedible. When the waitress came to clear the plates away, obviously she could see that my plate was virtually untouched and I told her that the scallops were inedible. No one came back to our table for an age to ask if we wanted a dessert, coffee or even to bring the bill. We tried to attract someone’s attention several times but staff looked everywhere apart from our direction. Once, after a good half hour, we did manage to attract someone’s attention, instead of bringing the dessert menu they just put the bill wordlessly on the table. As we had been charged full price for the meal, I again explained that my main course had been inedible. The waitress then came back wordlessly with an amended bill with a £9 reduction. We have no idea where this amount came from- it wasn’t even half the price of the dish. We paid this, as we had no desire to stay in the establishment any longer, but wondered how they could justify charging us for this dish when it was clearly inedible. No apology was given at any time and so consequently we won’t be returning.

Ate here for the first time and ordered fish cakes and tempura king prawns for starters..I found my fish cakes to he quite chewy..maybe the Thai way of cooking?) Our mains were absolutely delicious. The only negative was that the order of side rice is very small so had to order 2 , all in all it was a very tasty meal

Well after being recommended to this place, we were slightly underwhelmed with the food and the surroundings! The decor has seen better days and there is a whole top floor with things piled high , chairs cooking utensils and a child's play equipment.,which is where the toilets are so you have to walk past it all.The food was very ordinary and quite expensive for what you got, the best was the prawn toast and that was the cheapest. The staff did their best with what they have been given , also if you were looking for a nice dessert, they don't do them! Would not go back.

Our friends are regular visitors to the restaurant and have been wanting g us to come for years. We finally snuck a night out without the children and got to experience this amazing restaurant and food. Genuinely a case of don’t judge a book by it’s cover as it doesn’t look like much on the interior but the food was exceptional and the service was incredible! We will be going back again soon!!

We had booked to eat at this restaurant but unfortunately my wife had a very sore back so we had to ring and cancel but we ordered a takeaway and the quality was absolutely superb and authentic.

This is the first time we have visited this restaurant on our many visits to Morecambe for a short break. We will certainly revisit.The food was excellent with plenty of choice.It was very busy but due to the members of staff we were promptly served and made welcome. If you live in Morecambe they have a takeaway facility.

We love Thai food so decided to try this out. Both our mains were good and tasty. I felt that the starters were very small and quite pricey for what they were. Service was friendly. It could do with a spruce up a bit things like cheap cutlery if they were changed it would give it a more upmarket feel. It is in a good spot shame at the moment that scaffolding is surrounding the front but I don't suppose that can be helped. They do a selection of cocktails that looked good I don't drink them but think they were good value. It was a little chilly but rather that than stifling hot

Excellent service, friendly staff, was busy, best to book. Choice of menu great. Food delivered to table quickly and sizzling. Cocktails went down too well :). I’ve eaten here a few times now and the food is incredible. From the mussaman curry to the fillet steak, I’ve never had a better meal in Morecambe. I couldn’t recommend this highly enough.

My wife and I had a lovely meal at this restaurant. The food was delicious and the atmosphere is calm. I would certainly eat here again if ever I visit Morecambe. The only problem was that we didn't get the desserts we wanted as apparently no-one had put in the fruit order and so they were unavailable. This is an oversite that should not happen. It would have been 5 stars, but for this.

I'm amazed that this has made it to number 4 on the rankings of places to eat in Morcambe, The staff were attentive but there were 2 mistakes with our order, the waitress apologised and explained that there had been a communication problem between the waitress and the kitchen staff even though the order had been taken on a mobile device not a mistake in handwriting.The noodles were tasteless, salt &pepper chicken wings were nice with a decent amount of meat on them, The Black & Thai grilled chicken breast was very average, the best thing we tasted was the breaded chicken pieces from the children's menu.We all ate Thai and none of us tried the steaks, it must be the Steaks that give the restaurant such good reviews, as a Thai restaurant I wouldn't visit again, overall we all came away feeling disappointed, nothing was bad, but at the same time nothing was good.

After waiting for nearly 45 minutes for a simple meal, we had to get the attention of the waitress to get drinks as well, and was not checked on one time, this has been our third visit there, hoping to give another chance and try it out, but will not be going back, mainly due to the prices and the terrible service.although, when the waitress finally came over, she was sweet.

We visited on a Saturday night, having booked a table beforehand. The staff were friendly and efficient. The menu is extensive as you can choose from Thai, Japanese and steak/grill. After much deliberation we decided to have the set menu for 2. We had a selection of starters and then green curry, beef in oyster sauce and mixed vegetables. We devoured the lot! We really enjoyed our visit and I would recommend it.

We had a lovely meal, the food was delicious with lots of choice, we ate in the Thai restaurant on the ground floor and there is a grill restaurant on the first floor (We didn't visit this.) Our meal was presented well, service was slightly slow but it didn't matter at all. We will definitely return.

Run down and tired decor. Waitress was lovely and hard working but the owners could do with having a professional interior designer come in to the place. Food was okay but not excellent, sadly nothing to rush back for.

Found this place on the rundown seafront of Morecambe I find it amazing that it can survive in such rundown area as I can't believe anyone would holiday there. I does show that good quality food keeps it going. We had the sirloin steaks which you cook yourself on the hot stones. The steaks are of good quality nice & thick. The food was well presented on a wooden block with the hot stone in the middle. The Staff were very attentive during visit . The only downside was the trek up to the toilets which is only a problem if you have mobility issues. If you are in the area it's worth stopping for food. Will we be back ? I very much doubt it as I won't be rushing back to that area.

We had a great meal here and enjoyed main courses from both the 'hot stone' menu and the Thai menu . . . . and we also had a starter from the Japanese menu. All of the food was very good and tasty, the Thai was reportedly excellent.

We have visited her approximately 4 times now for thai food. Every time we have been the food has been spot on and authentic. We always order starters and mains each time we go and its reasonably priced ie 3 people 2 courses with drinks £68. The food is excellent quality. The king prawns with garlic and chilli are to die for the sauce they come in is delicious. Highly recommend this place.
