Thai Orchid is a fantastic spot! The food is fresh, flavorful, and authentic. Their Pad Thai and Green Curry are standouts—perfectly balanced and full of flavor. The staff is super friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. Great portions for the price, too. Definitely a go-to place for Thai food lovers!

The food quality this evening was awful. First visit for my daughter who had her meal re-cooked and still not edible. Disappointed with what I built up to be decent food on my first visit to somewhere that I’d never recommend. Over priced, no atmosphere and if this is the offering will not last.

Simply wow ! This place is a hidden gem ! Warm cozy ambience with friendly service staff. Ordered Chicken Pad Thai, Thai Orchid Special Rice and Plain Egg Noodles. Cooked well to perfection, tasty, good quantity and makes you want to order more. Definitely worth a visit if you’re near Elm Park Station. Ask for Anik for help and he will be more than happy to guide you through your meal orders.

The food was really outstanding !Every meal i had was full of flavor and cooked to perfection .So Overall was so good.

The ambience, coziness, and their hospitality were amazing. The taste of their food is something that will take you there again. The speed of the service was very quick. I'd suggest anyone to go there and taste the best.

The lady who took our order was lovely and staff were so friendly we travelled quite far for this and reading the reviews we were quite positive the food was going to be amazing, Starter was ok tam yom soup had no spice at all they did add more spice unfortunately other elements was lacking, mains were very dry and tasteless one of the lamb dish was inedible the lamb was a little smelly unfortunately prawn dish was tasteless aswell and the noodle was just so dry having travelled in Thailand and meny other thai resturants this was one of our not favourite please do better next time for others enjoyed the papadam and prawn crackers it is a lovely little restaurant clean dishes need to be more saucy and have the option for beef as lamb can be quite smelly if not cooked with aromatics,

Took a while to be served as no one was front of house for some time (another potential customer walked in and walked out after no one came out to serve them). However once we were seen, the service was impeccable, and the food was fresh and tasty. The massaman curry was particularly nice. The restaurant was nicely decorated and everything was very clean. Can also recommend the cocktails there - definitely well worth the money.

The Thai Orchid is a very pleasant place to eat. The staff are very helpful, kind and friendly. The service is 100%. The food was very tasty, I really enjoyed it. My husband and I will definitely be back to eat at the Thai Orchid. I fully recommend it .

The sticky rice was tasteless and had a very consistancy, the vegetable jungle curry had a huge amount of fish sauce which smelt and tasted really bad. The tofu krapow was tasteless - whole food order was incredibly bad.

Went for dinner at this great little restaurant. I had Thai red curry and my friend had Chicken Dhansak. The curries were authentic fragrant and delicious. My friend, who is !Asian said his Dhansak was amongst the most authentic he'd had in a restaurant not run by Asians. The special rice was flaky and also fragrant it had peas, chillies and coriander. The rice was as delicious as the curries and in my view wasn't an accompaniment but just as important as the other dishes. The portions were very generous, the prices very reasonable and the service superb. I highly recommend this place.

Very authentic Thai and Indian foods available here. I liked the lamb dum biriyani here, and Thai starters specially dumplings and tempura are must try! Also, the Pad Thai tastes very good. Service of Anik and Sumona is very well.

They made my Dad’s 60th Birthday celebrations very special by giving him a card and brought out a cake. We are going on a family holiday to Asia in the summer and so this was a great way to celebrate and honour our trip. Very authentic. Staff are so friendly and went above and beyond. Ordered from Orchid Indian Cuisine via Just Eat. Never tried a curry with this kind of east Asian infusion before but it sure works. The chicken is perfectly cooked and the chefs Tikka hakani was just amazing. Another highlight were the perfectly cooked bhajis and garlic chilli and cheese filled naan. You know a restaurant is good when they get the little things right. The menu has a lot of variety so looks like a good option if you have to cater for people who fancy other things too. Highly recommend this place and look forward to trying more from here.

This is one of the finest restaurants in East London I’ve tried so far. The ambiance is so soothing that makes it a perfect destination for a dinner date with your loved one. Their food surely worth the money. I found the tastiest tom yum soup here. And their orchid special rice is so flavorful yet not so overpowering that can be easily paired up with any of their curry options. Their food quality, service, atmosphere make it a must visit place if you’re planning for a hangout with friends or family.

First time we visit today and we will definitely be back! The restaurant is very nicely done, colourful and welcoming. The staff are very friendly and polite and the food was amazing with very generous portions! Thank you and see you soon!

First time visiting Thai Orchid. Brightly coloured cheerful interior and friendly staff. Food is very tasty, authentic and generous portions. I ordered a meal which was labelled as hot (my fault - it had 3 chillies on menu! ) and it was far too hot for me so I was offered the same meal with less spice as a takeaway option for free. Very generous. We will be coming back!

I ordered chicken krapow, tom yum chicken and som tam salad for delivery and I was suitably impressed. Having lived in Thailand for two years previously, I have high standards when it comes to authentic tasting Thai food and I'm delighted that I now live near a very good Thai restaurant. I like high levels of spice and they delivered on that front too. Thai Orchid would have a higher rating but they have not changed their Google account from the previous owners, who apparently were terrible; but thankfully the new owners aren't

Extremely disappointed. Ordered via Just Eat. Literally two minutes from the restaurant, yet the food arrived stone cold! Called the restaurant to complain. Was told that they are not responsible, as Just Eat use their own courier. Just Eat blame the restaurant. Wasted £22 on inedible food. Couldn’t even re-heat, as it would have dried the rice and chicken. Offered 20% off next order. Won’t bother if the restaurant doesn’t have their own drivers!

Very good good, extremely nice Long Island Ice Tea

It's changed hands. Had a takeaway tonight £44 wasted. Chicken satay comes 3 tiny sticks and a teaspoon of satay sauce. Papaya salad so many main ingredients missing and was so hot couldn't eat. Sweet n sour... rank! Lamb coconut curry was OK and special rice. Definitely will not be going back there!!!
