Thai D Food Bar in Shropshire

Planned to dine in but unfortunately was unable to. I therefore called up to make a delivery in advance and was told to do it online. I went to do this online and was unable to - I called back and was was greeted by a rude lady who said we are actually not doing it and then she hung up.

We were a walk-in on a Saturday lunchtime (ie no reservation) Ordered beer and a Sauvignon. The only beer they had was Buddha as they’d run out of everything else. Then we ordered Prawn Crackers and they’d run out of them too. Food tasty enough but lacking any authentic vegetables. My red curry with prawns had loads of prawns though and they were nicely cooked. I wonder how they coped with Saturday evening service??

Popped in on the off chance that we could bring our dog in and we're pleasantly surprised that 'well behaved' dogs were very welcome. Food was wonderful and very authentic. Prices very reasonable with a two course lunch menu for around £15.00. Service very good and a great spot to people watch.

Amazing food! I had ordered takeaway from this place several times, good price, fresh ingredients, I've never been disappointed. I booked in for lunch on Saturday and Friday. I'd recommend the chicken Katsu, the red bbq pork, and the Thai styled fresh spring roll. Delicious food, plan on visiting again.

We’ve been here a couple of times now and thought it was about time for a good review! The food is unreal - every meal has been delicious. I can recommend the prawn toast, panang curry and coconut rice. Owner/ manager is lovely.

Genuinely the best Thai food I’ve ever eaten. Perfect location on Wyle cop, lovely staff and beautiful food.

The starters were really nice but the mains were disappointing. Service was lacking in confidence.

I was grateful for the staff squeezing us in without a booking but I have to say the food left me wanting more. The portions are small and it’s reflected in its slightly odd pricing, meat is addition £2-£3 pounds so for our green curry there was literally 4 slices of precooked chicken. My beef panang while it tasted good there was 4-5 slices of incredibly chewy beef. I wouldn’t go again nor would I recommend this restaurant based on the price, quantity and extremely poor value for money.

Having had a great previous experience, great atmosphere, great service and great food, we decided to recommend an evening out with 4 of our friends. Knowing how busy the restaurant gets we decided to book 10 weeks in advance to be sure of getting a table. On arrival the restaurant was buzzing and packed, with no spare tables. We were then shown to a table upstairs in the converted loft. It was dark, dingy and smelt of damp. There were no other diners and no atmosphere. The table had a glass surface which was sticky and covered in smears. We had to alter our order due to them not having sufficient spring rolls. The food was not as good as before, the Pad Thai was very dry, and the prawn curry portion size was miserly. The MOST delicious food!! I can honestly say that they never disappoint and create some of the tastiest food I have ever eaten. The staff are always really friendly and helpful. It’s a lovely atmosphere for everyone.

Booked table well in advance with confirmation message from the owner. (See screenshot attached). When we arrived the restaurant was full and they had no record of the booking. I showed them all the messages we had confirming the reservation. Manager/owner came out, no real apology and said we could come back later if we wanted. No explanation as to why the booking wasn’t made other than he sometimes forgets. Could have offered us a drink maybe whilst we waited for a table. We didn’t eat there and went elsewhere. Shame as we were all looking forward to it.

This place is absolutely AMAZING. Ben the owner was so welcoming and I can’t even talk about how incredible the food was! I can’t wait to go back. Me and my friend had chicken Thai green curry which was so perfect in every way, the balance was unreal! I feel lucky to have this tasty place in my town! I’ll be back.

Had some great meals here thevfood cooked by the Thai lady chef is excellent, but as the restaurant now has a discretionary service charge we will not be going back. Last time we had dinner I asked for the charge to be removed and left a larger gratuity than the charge would have been but I can't be bothered having our night out spoiled by having to go through tip shaming so as long as this practice remains in place we won't be back.

Exceptional quality food and service. We popped in on spec early on a Saturday evening (but strongly recommend booking ahead). Though they were very busy we were seated without fuss and had a truly superb experience. The food was delicious, sensible portion sizes, and flavour packed. The staff were young but friendly and efficient. Managed by the owners Ben, whose wife Nat is head chef, the food is authentic Thai and very high quality. We now travel 38 miles to eat here. Its that good!
