Thai Crystal in Mid Sussex

Booked via website for dinner and received email confirmation via the third party “host me” app. Then on day received a further confirmation email. Arrived at restaurant which was in darkness, with post on the floor, clearly closed. Just tried calling to complain and number no longer in service. Shameful way to manage a business even if closing down. They need to notify all the third party booking apps.

Accepted my order and my money but then just as it was due to be delivered they cancelled with no explanation. Website seems broken and Uber Eats showing them as not open now.

Absolutely fantastic, service and food excellent large portions. I was blown away, the waitress took 12 different orders from memory and no mistakes. I would give 10 stars

Was a delivery but the food was disgusting, my noodles were one congealed brown burnt looking lump and the chicken tasted off, pancake rolls were raw and undercooked. Rang to complain and was just told its not their problem if I don't like the food. It was inedible and I would have been seriously ill had I eaten it

Hanoosha was the most amazing waitress with very impressive memory skills! We had a delicious evening meal and wonderful service. Nothing was too much trouble for her and the team including dealing with my dietary needs. Thank you we’ll be back ❤️

Lovely restaurant. Walking distance from the train station. Staff is lovely. Delicious food. We had the some lovely sizzling beef with drunken noodles and for the start salty chicken wings and prawns.

Reserved table and double checked - got to the restaurant Bang on time with our dear friends who were looking forward to their first visit there . No tables booked as they had filled the place in with walk ins - whilst I understand getting bookings when you can disappointing on the way you treat regulars!! Gone is service from the industry

Excellent Food and lovely staff even though they are always short staffed on a busy Friday, Saturday night.. The food was delicious and big portions too. Good selection of beers and wines. Will definitely be going back.

Absolutely amazing. It was late and they were still open for food - and thank goodness!! I had the lamb grill and it was out of this world. Large portions, quick and friendly service, absolutely outrageously delicious food; all very reasonably priced. I am going to have to visit Haywards Heath again just to come back to the Thai Crystal :)

I ordered a takeaway and the food was good, as always. However, my girlfriend became really quite unwell within a couple of hours and remained that way for 24 hours - plainly food poisoning. She had eaten pork and prawns, 2 likely candidates. Rather than apologise, the manager said that it couldn’t possibly be the food or the preparation of it, instead it must have been too spicy or an allergic reaction. Yes, of course it was. Good food but such a shoddy way to treat customers. No chance that I’ll go back.

We opted for the set daytime menu which suited our budget but we were slightly disappointed with the main course. The starters of vegetable tempura were delicious but our main courses 'didn't hit the spot'. Two of us ordered the red curry and when it arrived it was like a watery soup with triangles of aubergine floating on top. I am not familiar with Thai cuisine, so perhaps this is the norm but I expected something less watery.

Amazing and authentic Thai food. Delicious grilled king prawns and starters full of flavours! Great service and cuisine.
