I have lived in Bridgnorth for 10 years and I had never been in to Thai Arts restaurant only ever had a takeout in covid. On a busy Saturday night I managed to get a table for 2 as someone hadn’t turned up. The place was busy with a great ambience. We went for the one of the set menus. The starter was a mixed one including satay chicken, fish cake, spring roll and prawn toast. The main included 3 dishes and Thai Green Chicken curry and sticky rice All the food was piping hot and really light and tasty. The service was excellent and we will definitely be back soon.

In the middle of "nowhere", we were delighted to bump into a Thai restaurant. The interior has beautiful murals all over, the dragons are especially neat. We had the vegetable spring rolls and chicken satay, both were excellent (and the satay came with a free apple!). We had soft noodles, which were fine, and the spicy tofu with rice, which was awesome. We saw the photos of the salt and spicy French fries, they lived up to the billing. The service is attentive, and patient.

My partner and I booked Thai Arts for Valentines Day, the first time we had visited the restaurant. We arrived early for our table and perused the menu for 10-15 minutes before we were asked which drinks we wanted. The service was quite slow, but the restaurant was very busy, and it really wasn't an issue, we had starters and mains and were only there for just over an hour in total. There is a decent choice of Wines, but we had already been to the Old Swan across the road for a few drinks, so I had a Singha, and my partner just a Coke. We chose 3 starters, Tempura King Prawn, Salt and Chilli Chicken Strips and Duck Spring Rolls, the highlight of which was the Chicken Dish, but all 3 were very good. For our Mains we had Beef with Chilli and Holy Basil, and Beef with Chilli Oil, I had the steamed rice and my partner the mixed vegetables. Both of our mains were excellent, very tasty, just the right amount of heat, in fact i will go as far as to say that our food was better than that from Surees Kitchen in Ironbridge, and less than half the price. The only slight annoyance was the Heart-Shaped Balloon attached to the back of my chair, that continued to hit me in the head everytime the door opened! We will certainly be back, and soon!

We booked a table for 8 people for the 24th Jan to celebrate my mother's birthday. Some of us were coming from Wolverhampton, some from Shrewsbury, so we decided to book somewhere in Bridgnoth and meet in the middle. We had 3 young children with us. We'd eaten here before and the food was good so we thought we'd celebrate her birthday here. When we arrived shortly before our reserved time, we were told there was no booking. This was confusing as we had definitely booked - table for 8, the 24th. After some searching of their bookings diary, we figured out that they'd mistakenly booked us for the 8th of February. They conceded this had been their mistake, and clearly they'd transposed the 8 people to the 8th. Mistakes happen. However, there was not one word of apology. We asked if they could still squeeze us in. There was an entire floor of the reasurant unoccupied, after all, and it was an early booking 6pm. We were told no, they were fully booked. Would they let us eat as long as we promised to be out quickly? No. Would they try to squeeze us in later in the evening? No. Would they give us a discount on a takeaway? No. Instead, they forced us out into the rain, young children wet and upset. The mistake I can understand. Mistakes happen. The total lack of ANY kind of apology or ANY attempt, however small, to make it up to us was unacceptable. Sadly we shall never be returning, and warn others to confirm your booking at least twice before arriving for your meal as they won't care in the slightest if they've made a mistake. It was shameful that they weren't even apologetic that they couldn't do anything to accomodate us for *their mistake*.In the end we all went to Wolverhampton and had a lovely meal at Minh's in Tettenhall. They were kind enough to find us a space after we explained our situation.

Visited here with my Mum & Sister after a film at the local Bridgnorth Cinema. Having never eaten here before, I was intrigued to see what this little Thai restaurant was about. It's such a quaint and typically authentically decorated Thai eatery, with seating both downstairs and up. The menu is very comprehensive, and it caters for a wide range of palates, to those that like their Thai food spicy, to those who prefer something not too spicy, to not spicy at all. Their Thai soup, with lemongrass, coconut, basil leaves with your choice of chicken, prawn etc is simply delicious. I had the Panang dish for my main, with special rice, . . . . . . Yum. My sister's dish of cod fillet with chilli, was tasty, however, she did find the chilli seeds somewhat too hot, but it's a matter of preference and choice. My mums Thai green chicken was scrummy, all in all, the service, ambiance and food are well worth a visit here indeed.

This was our third or fourth visit to Thai Arts this year for a family celebration which given that it's not exactly local to us is a good start to begin with. We're getting to know the menu better, as much as my wife and I love the soups the kids aren't keen so it was a mixed combination and a selection of mains that we all shared. None of the dishes dissapointed and if anything we probably over ordered. Food as ever was well presented and delicious and the staff were excellent despite trying to look after two floors. Went here last night with a couple of good friends of ours. When me and Wendy went here a couple if years ago, we went in the week and were downstairs. Last night as it was very busy, we had to go upstairs, which wasn't a problem, but I think it affected the service as we had a longer wait for food than I like, and I don't think the waitresses made enough visits upstairs either. The other negative I have to point out is that we had the set meal, so there were a lot of dishes, but there were no heater boxes on the table to keep the food warm, and space was tight. However, when it comes to the food, this is a very nice place to eat. We had a set meal with mixed starters and a variety of mains with rice and some side dishes, and it was all very nice. I would go back again, but it would be midweek when it's a bit quieter.

This was only my second visit in 10 years, I love the Thai food here but if only they’d turn the music up a little to add some gentle atmosphere. It’s only a small place but a couple of simple tweaks could make this a little gem and a much more enjoyable experience.

Booked a table as a treat for our Son to celebrate the end of his exams. No table was available when we arrived (on time) which was fair enough as they were busy but there is not a dedicated area to sit and have a drink while your waiting so you end up standing around the till like a spare part whilst the waiters brush past you with plates of food! Once we were seated we were given menu’s but not offered drinks. When we had ordered our meals around 15 minutes later we were asked what drinks we would like. Starters came out and the food was nice. When we had finished our starters we were informed that 3 of the choices we had selected for our mains were no longer available as they had run out so we had to make other selections, there were 4 of us dining! Having informed us at this point during the meal our second selections were rushed. Parts of the mains arrived followed a good 10 minutes later by the rest. The final straw for me was that at no point during our main meal were we offered another drink, we had empty glasses for over an hour, we decided not to hang around for desert! When I went to pay I informed the person who took my payment that I was very disappointed and briefly explained why. He offered no explanation just said I’m sorry. It wasn’t a cheap night out, all 4 of us were deflated when we left as we had looked forward to going all day.

We thought that the general food offering in Bridgnorth is pretty basic - the Thai Arts restaurant stood out as something a bit special.

i first went here with my son who recommended it.We had a really delicious meal off the lunchtime menu which is a good point to start if you are not sure if you will like Thai food.I have had an evening meal here with my wife and thoroughly enjoyed it.I had the Jungle Curry which was deliciously hot.,the chicken satay was excellent. We had this as a combination starter which was good but poor value for £6 each.As far as the quality of the food goes it is spot on!

We regularly dine at this little restaurant, but we have never thought to write a review, which we should have done, because the food is always delicious.

Been here twice and returned for a special night out. Food amazing as usual. Love the mixed starters to share. My sweet & sour prawns in a light batter were gorgeous! Absolutely perfect accompanied by some delicious yellow noodles. Hubby’s red Thai curry just the right heat. Never fails to please in the restaurant so cannot understand why take away is so poor. Will visit restaurant again but will NEVER have another take away from here (see previous reviews).

First visit to this resturaunt for me and first experience of Thai food for the kids. All I can say is the food was excellent and by the end of starter the kids were asking to come back again. I don't usually travel for resturaunt so even the short hop to Bridgenorth was unusual for me I usually eat whereever is in walking distance but I will certainly be coming back here again.

We booked castle Thai for my birthday after having lovely food when we'd previously visited. We knew the interior was in need of a repaint but that didn't put us off. On arrival the premises were cold. Only one other table was in. Despite advising were attending the theatre our starters took 45 minutes to arrive. We were served our initial drink but not offered a further one. Only the owner was serving with what appeared to be one person cooking The food was fine, not as good as previously, however the temperature of the restaurant and service puts it firmly in our "will not return" bucket!

We had Prawns, Satay and the usual Noodle soup. Never disappoints. Look forward to visiting their new venue on the Mardol when it opens 😁

Very tasty, highly recommended. We had a large mixed order for a group of us. Everyone was happy. What more do you want of a Sunday night takeaway?
