Came to celebrate a birthday, but unfortunately this was cut short because of a "person under the influence of drugs" causing a scene and lying on the floor the whole time we were there. Food was great but atmosphere was awful. Took our cake home and rushed off after eating our meal as quick as we could. Staff were attentive, not their fault but also alot of money to rush down our food and get home whilst explaining to our young daughter what she had witnessed. Emailed head office twice but it's just been ignored. Such a let down, but don't think this will be the first or last time that this will happen.

I went here with my two daughters and granddaughter, we were celebrating her 16th birthday which is coming up, we really enjoyed our food.

Food was nice a little pricey Atmosphere, it's a little loud and cold Im always cold when I dine here so I need to wear a jumper when I go. The new menu has some nice choices. The corn dogs are amazing in my partners opinion he'd like more or possibly as a main!

I liked the food, I had to wait really long. Service, if not the wait, I would say 5⭐. I said it's the birthday of the grandchildren, it's a mini-app. The staff sang a greeting that ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

First time going, only want a quick bite to eat , service was friendly and helpful building was clean and fun and loads of parking, but i will never go back again as the prices are the most extortionate i have ever seen, the cheapest thing on the menu was £18.60 for a burger and chips, THE CHEAPEST THING. i was shocked and should of checked the menu before we sat down and order drinks. The food was great but i dont expect to pay 20 quid for a burger and chips in Stoke/Hanley.

Had New York grill eg sirloin steak etc no mushrooms ?. asked for medium to well steak overdone and very dry. (Both steaks ) not good value for money at all 2 4 1 cocktails were 16.00 I wouldn’t call that 2 4 1

The food was great good size portion and friendly service However prices are crazy £22 for a main meal also we werent able to use blue light discount because we took advantage of a free drink via the app which was advertised on the table and we weren't informed of this (yes yes im sure its buried in the T&Cs somewhere) especially when the blue light discount is only on food and all we got was a free drink

Plenty of free car parking for now ! Just remember the time limit on it 3 hours . The set up was good . The food we had was lovely.The service was good . For a Thursday night people were in and out and still had seating . Using my Blue light card got 20% off . Prices are a bit steep but it depends on what you have . Toilets were clean . I would comeback for a treat . We had 2 wines , 2 cordials and 2 mains £87 then got discount.

Take away. The fries look days old and reheated and taste as bad. The garlic bread is just unbaked bread smothered. This food is absolutely disgusting!

Came here with the family a few years ago for my birthday I've always loved tgi Fridays so glad I went here the food isn't just amazing but the cocktails they do here are amazing too staff were all lovely and so helpful positive and polite will definitely be coming back here again had such a lovely positive experience here made me feel so amazing on my birthday

The food was fantastic. The young lady who was in charge of our table was excellent my daughter had a milk allergy and she was brilliant checking and making sure everything was right for us. The picture shown is my meal. Absolutely delicious

Never been for food always come for drinks at the bar - staff are ridiculously lovely and attentive - wish I remembered their names long blonde hair lady and guy with brown hair he knows us well enough though even waved as we walked passed the building he recognised us after not being for like a year. Amazing staff here don’t know anywhere I’ve felt so welcomed and looked after <3

Food quality was amazing today, burger was so so flavourful. Kids meals are amazing sizes. Atmosphere nice and quiet, not too overwhelming. Tia was an amazing host to me and my family. Catering to anything we asked for. Will definitely be coming back! ❤️

My family and I have just had dinner here (2nd Jan 2025). As you would imagine it was very quiet. However the service was appalling. We waited more than 20mins for our drinks to be taken. I ordered Margarita, what arrived, eventually , after watching the waitress stand at the bar chatting to the bar staff instead of bringing the drinks that were ready, was not a Margartia. I returned it to the barman who told me they always make them sweeter there. It would of been good to have been told that before I ordered or asked if that would be ok. Our food order was then taken wed now been in the restaurant almost 30 minutes and the waitress returned after another 15 minutes to tell me my son's order wasn't available. Again it would of been helpful to be told this at the point of ordering. I asked if they had an alternative to chicken tenders and was told they did not. When his 'chicken burger' arrived it was chicken tenders in a bun. This is a good 45 minutes after we originally ordered, there was 4 other tables seated in the entire restaurant. In between all this my partners drink didn't arrive, she couldn't work out what our order was and came back twice to clarify who had ordered a chicken burger from the adults menu. No one had. All in all it was farcical, I'm only grateful we hadn't gone in there on a busy evening. We paid £93 for that privellege.To be fair the food was OK once it eventually arrived, but just ok, and definitely not worth all the aggregation that went with it.

The staff are very friendly and attentive. Lots of food choices. Very good when it comes to allergies and intolerances. Great for families. But the toilets weren't clean and very noisy in the restaurant.

I went there as a group of 5 for my friends birthday the food was not as described at all and she didn't even end up eating the food she disliked it so much I didn't mind mine but it definitely wasn't what I expected, the prices are shocking for us to get a basic meal it cost £170 and all we got was a main each, the prices are shocking for the standard of food. The staff didn't even want to be there and were highly Innatentive and had a massive negative effect on the whole atmosphere.

Pricey but good, not much fur children

I recently dined at TGI Fridays and it was a disappointing experience. The food was horrible – I expected much better quality for the price we paid. We were a group of five, and the total bill was disgustingly high for the standard of the meal we received. To make matters worse, the staff seemed completely oblivious to us; it took forever for anyone to notice our table. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place if you're looking for a good dining experience.And the staff were just miserable. It felt like they didn't want to be there at all, which really added to the negative vibe of the whole experience. It was just a terrible night out.

First time visiting today. Had a fantastic meal and service from Em! Our 4 year old loved it too!

Came after work for tea with my partner, we were sat down straight away and served by a wonderful waitress called Em. It was very speedy service and a great experience in the restaurant. Will definitely be going again!

Visited TGIF with an open mind for the first time, for a child's birthday. Had mentioned it was a birthday in the booking (as prompted online), but there was no difference in service - this is not so much of a complaint as it is a heads-up. The food took over 45 minutes to arrive, and two of our plates were wrong. The server did offer to remove this plate from the bill, which was appreciated. The price is huge, considering what you receive. I'm happy paying approaching these prices for a very good meal made with locally-sourced ingredients, but this is not what you are getting at diner-style restaurants, so the prices should really reflect the quality. I enjoy a burger from time to time, but do not expect to pay £20 for one with this standard of service. The restaurant was also cold, and we resorted to wearing our coats while we waited for our meals. A positive was that we arrived early and were sat at a large table, away from other people in the restaurant, but I would struggle to mention anything else.

My husband and two of my children became unwell after we had dinner here, my husband was vomiting all evening and through the night. The food is very expensive for what it is. The service was fantastic though, our server was amazing! That was the only good thing about our visit though. We won't be returning.

Is freezing inside, we needed to wear coats! Food took 45 minutes to arrive and is incredibly overpriced.

Came with my family for Saturday lunch (on a dull and miserable Saturday in Hanley). Quality service by Em, who took our orders promptly and correct - Very much a credit to TGI Hanley. Food was very good and the whole dining experience certainly made up for the miserable weather outside

Dropped in on our way back from swimming. Service was incredible, very attentive and friendly. All the adults ate from the Christmas menu, everything was beaut! Great value for money. Haven’t been to TGIs in years, but will be back soon!

Food always delicious from here, although I feel it's a little on the expensive side. Quite empty when we visited so the atmosphere wasn't as good as if it were busier, but it was an evening in the week. Would recommend as a good place for a family meal with a varied menu.

The food was really good and the staff were amazing! Came here for a birthday and it was only an off-hand remark, but they brought out some cake and birthday wishes!

Atmosphere isn't great, too dark with random colour lights. It was too loud aswell. I ordered bbq beef rib fajitas. The beef was all fat. They replaced it with pasta, which was overcooked. Wife ordered new York strip steak. It was pathetic, it was like a cheap one from supermarket. I cook better steak than that. Chips were so salty you needed huge culp of your drink per chip. Overall for £80 we had terrible steak and pasta. I don't recommend. McDonald's would have been a better meal. The only good thing was the service.

I booked a table for five online to celebrate my partner's birthday. Firstly, I had sent an email with a few questions before our booking but didn't receive any response. That aside, we were all looking forward to a great meal together. Unfortunately, the experience wasn't quite what we expected. The food was a letdown for everyone at the table – it arrived cold and didn't taste fresh at all. On top of that, we were kept waiting far too long for our meals. On a positive note, the waitress was lovely and did her best under the circumstances. However, given the overall experience, I'm afraid I wouldn't be inclined to return or recommend this restaurant to others.

Looked online first at their menu - What company doesn't put prices on their website, downloaded the pdf but nope...no prices attached anywhere on the menu. We decided to turn up and I can now see why they don't put prices upfront, £14 for a burger and some fries, overall we spent £40. Staff clearly didn't want to be there and didn't make any effort to make us welcome, a lot of huff and puffing. Wouldn't go back again after today's experience!

It was Friday night not many people in! Spotless inside not much choice on menu expensive night out 4 adults too small kids £239! Staffordshire very polite sang happy birthday to member of family.It was a happy occasion for us though.

Went yesterday.. staff were nice but thin on the ground. Food was abysmal.! Over cooked (and I mean cremated) sat to be served so cold when it got to us. £80 for two people. One starter, two mains and three soft drinks! Never again !!

Didn't even want to eat the food, never been here before, was mid-day, hardly anyone in, went in, no staff in eye sight looking at where we could sit, plenty of seats to be shouted across the restaurant if we'd been sat down, then another staff member shouted to wait at the door.. not in a polite manor either. Decided it was best we walked away and went somewhere we could enjoy food with staff that bring a smile .. Wasn't welcoming in the slightest..

burger was burnt alittle but other then that the food was nice.. the pudding was sweet I didn't expect the cake be that big, fish balls were a full excellent also... 5***
