One star because very variable level of service depending on staff. One week it's brilliant and friendly the next it's surly and off hand. It doesn't matter if food is good if you have a nasty taste in your mouth from the customer service. Two and half stars for the breakfast. Full English breakfast is just that full; egg, bacon, hash browns, baked beans, fresh tomato, sausage and toast. Drink is extra. With ability to swap items for extra of other items. Overall the ingredients quality is average. Great shame it cannot be excellent by purchasing quality ingredients from Tesco assuming the ingredients do come from Tesco and not from wholesale suppliers. Five stars for: Parking a breeze. Cafe itself open and airy with new layout. Cleanliness excellent.

Ordered two breakfasts here for myself and my wife. They got the breakfast order wrong. To save any confusion I handed both plates back to the person who bought them out and asked for it to be rectified. The fried bread was greasy, the sausages are cocktail sausages, the beans were fresh about 9 years ago and the sauce was 1 month out of date. I have been on the toilet 8 times today after eating this s**t. Avoid this place it's cheap and nasty not to mention out of date food.

The breakfast at the on site Cafe is dire. Probably the worst I've ever had! Greasy with a distasteful taste, the bacon was the cheapest ever, the sausage was disgusting. The only acceptable item was the tea. Given that this is in Tesco surely they can use high quality ingredients from the store at a discounted cost? Last time I will ever set foot in this Cafe.

Slightly below average quality and overpriced food with virtially no choice burgers or fish. Fish was not fresh enough for me chips were badly overdone and burnt. Staff member who served me was passive aggressive rude. Seemed to be people in there eating take away food they had bought in shop. Given the high prices charged this was annoying.

Good food and snack selection. Service can be improved. Great place for food for Tesco Shoppers or just coffee otherwise.

This is the most expensive supermarket coffee shop ever. The food is very basic, there's not much choice and you have to wait a very long time in the queue.

We went to Tesco to do some shopping and decided to pop into the cafeteria for some breakfast We waited for over half an hour which was fair enough because they was short staffed, but when the food did eventually turn up it was cold. We sent it back and when it came back it was even colder so back it went again and it came back it was even colder.

We arrived at the restaurant the choice was terrible. We had tea, hot chocolate, a sandwich and two scones. The drinks were both cold and terrible. The scones were disgusting they tasted awful. Took them back and was assured they were made this morning. The replacement that I chose was not much better. Overall a terrible experience

Not good if you're looking for a substantial meal; all that was on offer in front of us when we walked in was ham sandwiches (obviously useless for my vegetarian grandmother) and San Pellegrino. Ordered tea, when it arrived 15 minutes later there was about as much milk in it as in a spot. Refunded £7.40 overall just for a sandwich and tea which I find to be overpriced. Will not be revisiting anytime soon.

Why Tesco had to replace their restaurant with this cafe is odd. It was half empty at lunchtime. The two staff were uninterested and unhelpful with no customer service skills at all (more interested in checking their phones) Poor choice of foods (all wraps paninis etc ) and overpriced food and drinks. Lots of tables needed emptying and the sink was full of dirty cups. Avoid avoid avoid!!!

For a cafe situated in a Tesco store £2.90 for a medium cappuccino is well overpriced compared to other coffee outlets, opted for a coke @ £1.95 and was pointed in the direction of the glasses to find them all dirty, obviously taken from the dishwasher wet and covered in stains so had to clean one myself whilst being observed doing so by the staff! Floors also with bits of food everywhere needed a good sweep however staff texting on mobiles seemed more important. Get your act together Tesco!

Baristas here are well trained and friendly. Best Flat White in town !! Shame they don't do the berries smoothies anymore, it might be a seasonal beverage. Normal promotion - Every 6 stamps of coffee gets one free.
