Tesco Cafe in Greenwich

I placed my order about 11am didnt get here till about 12.20 Food was stone cold And my smoothie was split

I ordered a panni but it wasn't the proper bread but still very enjoyable to eat

Butter was missing and its not a first time

Requesting runny egg yolks - got rubber hard ones. How hard is it to fry an egg?! The rest was fine, but the eggs spoilt it. Who the heck wants hard cooked eggs anyway???

Interesting place for a cafe. As we attempted to shop for our dinner, the cafe served a nice location to take some time to search for a recipe. Seats at the back provided a bit of a hiding location from the store, I almost forgot I was in a supermarket. The view gave a look upon Woolwich, not from too high up and not from too low down. The coffee was okay, bitter but drinkable. Definitely woke your senses up.

The staff here are very rude and incompetent, my friend and I ordered at the same time get my arrived 27 minutes later? At this point both dishes were closed and staff was more concerned about closing the cafe instead of serving already sitting customers. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all and will never come again . Fish was bland , chips were stale and small portioned and peas and tartar- well you can’t really mess that up now can you . Overall I wish Tesco cafe goodbye never coming back again awful experience

I had the all day vegetarian breakfast and it was not the best experience. You could taste that the food was cooked in stale cooking oil. The eggs and veggie sausage tasted really awful and the beans were stone cold. I seriously would not recommend.

Fries were cold and hard. Sandwich was tasteless

Tesco's Cafés always have a cool dinner lady vibe.

Real hot and miss. Usual blonde lady is super cheery but the people who work under her are surly and don’t want to be there. Floor was covered in crumbs and all tables dirty. My came on a dirty plate and couldn’t eat it. Nor could I find anyone who complain to. I left.

Portions keep getting smaller and smaller, prices keep going up. I paid for a big breakfast. Received 1 sausage (should have been 2) one egg (should have been 2) one bacon (should have been 2) Nothing 'big' about this. Very disappointing.

I got my Halal vegetarian breakfast 🤩 in £5.25 money worth the taste and portions of the food

Even though it was busy at lunch today the food was cooked well and our kids ate everything. Monika and Sarah served us they were friendly and attentive and Monika was great with our kids

I recently visited the Tesco Cafe and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The staff’s attitude was concerning, as they seemed more focused on closing up rather than providing quality customer service. It was disheartening to witness their rudeness and lack of consideration. To make matters worse, the quality of everything we ordered was noticeably off. From the food to the beverages, it was evident that attention to detail was lacking. What’s more, the wait time to be served was surprisingly long, leaving us frustrated and eager to finally place our orders. Even after enduring the wait and placing our orders, we were dismayed to find out that a significant portion of the food options listed were unavailable. This, we were told, was due to the staff’s priority of closing right at 4 PM. Such a situation made us feel like an inconvenience rather than valued customers. Overall, my visit to the Tesco Cafe was a letdown. The combination of rude staff, subpar quality, extended wait times, and limited food choices left me with a negative impression. I hope that the management takes this feedback seriously and works towards improving the customer experience, ensuring that others do not face the same disappointing encounter.

Very poorly made Smoothie, almost all slushy ice with no real flavouring. Missing drink from order as well.

Main part of the food was cold which was both chicken strips with waffle

The food was stone cold and my iced slushy had virtually melted

My chips was so cold I couldn’t eat it so was the waffle and my milkshake was watery

Order was specifically requested to schedule delivery for 9.00am but for some reason it arrived almost 10mins earlier. As a result I was not in a position to receive the delivery when it arrived, but a few minutes later (still 8mins earlier than the scheduled delivery time I requested). However, by then the delivery person was gone and I found two paper bags left on the cold ground outside the door. The food, although tasty was stone cold as a result. The hot drink, obviously, was not hot. Disappointed when the app has this functionality for a reason and the restaurant and delivery people defeat the purpose for which it even exists.

Charlotte who served me on the cafe counter was amazing you could see every customer matter and went above and beyond to make the customer happy

I ordered the Bacon and Mapple loaded Waffles and I did not receive the usual thick and sugared waffles, but some thin square and tasteless one instead. I mean, if you don't have the right product, just remove it from the page instead of sending a disgusting replacement. Not sure I'll keep ordering, especially if we can't trust we'll receive the right/same product each time.

Today I visited tesco cafe Woolwich. I had bbq beans with poached egg on sour dough bread it was cooked so well and presented beautifully thank you to Charlotte for a really enjoyable breakfast .

About what you would expect for a cafe in a supermarket. My biggest gripe was the price. Over £4 something for a hotdog. Called 'fully loaded' - the only thing it was loaded with was the amount of mustard and tomato sauce. In all a coffee and hot dog were over £7. Never again.

The staff was pleasant when I went while waiting for a friend but there was barely anything for me to eat (lack of vegetarian options) so I ended up with a snack and a can rather than a proper lunch after a long day walk

Why is fish and chips not on the menu anymore

Kids fish finger meal: Nice food but the extra for the chocolate milk with kids milk isn’t worth it (not a milkshake just half a cup of chocolate milk) extra £1.20

I was told that during half term you could get a free children's mail with any adult purchase. I double checked with the lady at the till to be sure and she confirmed it. I then purchased a bottle of water as I already had lunch. The lady at the till (thin white woman with brown hair and glasses) was very snorky about this and kept saying "you just purchased a bottle of water" and she didn't gave me the children's menu at the end. I felt horrible, as I was being very polite. Next time we will go to ASDA instead.

Food arrived over an hour late which meant the food was cold and the iced frappe had melted. There is no contact number for the cafe you just have to listen to an automated machine giving out different numbers to press and none of them are for the cafe. The food looked appealing but was stone cold when it finally arrived. The delivery driver said it wasn't his fault as the just eat app had stopped working and he couldn't find my address. Why he didn't just call me to ask for directions I'll never know

Fried egg delivered minus the bacon bap that was supposed to be with it- inept

I ordered fish fingers and got pork sausages. I ordered chunky chips and got sweet potatoes fries. Veg stick, apple juice, carrot and Swede mash, fish fingers are missing from the order. And there's no customer service number to call. I am so angry

I came in to claim my free Lucozade and they made me use my voucher which expires in 20 minutes and couldn’t claim because their inadequate stupidity!!! Foreign rats!! Robbing customers

Ordered toast on avocado from kids menu, as their avocado on toast for adults comes with chilli flakes ( which wasn't mentioned to us) and we still got served the adults version of it without any mention as why. Should have let me know before I paid that they won't serve me the kids version. Costumer service needs to be improved in such a great location.

Children taken advance of by tesco staff. I went here with my two younger sisters, ordered crispy chicken strips and chips with no mention of any spiciness. It was so spicy it was inedible. After paying 7 pounds for each meal, we all left, including my 6 year old sister, hungry after only being able to eat a few chips. After taking it up with the staff I was told that I could not be refunded because we had tasted the food. How could we know it was spicy without tasting it. The menu mentioned nothing about spice, it just said chicken strips and chips. After asking the staff what I should have done, they told me we shouldn't have tried it. We tried to return the food that was so spicy we couldn't touch it and we're told we shouldn't have tasted it. My youngest sister tried one and came home crying. On top of everything, the manager was arguing and shouting at the kitchen staff as we were ordering so loudly that the whole restaurant could hear. The place is a huge mess, with dirty dishes everywhere and scattered chairs. Unless chaos and unsociable behaviour is your cup of tea for a family day out, steer clear of this place.

Driver spilt my drink, told me he was going back to get another one but took ages and my food was soaked in the drink he spilled

they have been improving here in recent times it is largely decent value just a shame just eat add so much in fees or I would order more often

always good here it's my go to cafe in the area please do specials on hot drinks though the same ones all the time gets boring rotate them

Lovely breakfast not faults with food but your condiments/ sauces are out of date I was given mustard and ketchup with a use by date of 07/21…….. Not sure if these reviews are even seen but we’ll see when I order again….

Sad to write this cause I really love ordering from here but today's order didnt hack it for me. Bread was soggy, food was cold, avocado was brown, halloumi melted over the mushroom. Missing beans. Really not happy. Tomatoes aren't roasted, more like boiled. Only thing edible was the vegan sausage which was an extra item, if not I wouldn't have had anything to eat. Really unhappy first time they messed up big. I tried calling, was on hold for 8mins and ended the call. No point!

food was so cold. I specifically asked for no cheese and onion in my panini, they still add it and its not even melted cheese. and they didn't even add a hash brown in my sausage bap. I expect a refund... no effort.

Food came cold. Restaurant note completely ignored. Took over half an hour to allocate a driver and food was delivered cold. Food also was a lot less than what was served in restaurant plus cost more.

Can’t believe how small portion I received for £5.60 it’s unbelievable. My two years old child needed to use the toilet and they didn’t let us as it’s just for disabled people so needed to go all the way to the toilets and my child almost peed herself. Bad service, overpriced tiny portions, won’t come back!

Toast was more like charcoal - burned black and delivered with no butter.

Don’t waste your time ordering from here. There is no food for me to review. Everything was missing from a £24.98 order apart from two drinks. Poor service and I have had to pay service charge and delivery fee to boot! For what? Why did the staff not pack our food?

I have been ordering in Tesco woolwich in the past couple of weeks and what a pleasure I found this great place and people that work in it!! Everytime they manage to surprise me and make my day more happy +amazing food and presentation!! But this time it was even more exceptional as I asked for some extra stuff and not only it was given to me but I also received this lovely note from Sammie, I just wanted to say thank you thank you once again!! ImU guys are amazing !! Ur service is exceptional and as I said kindness goes a long way!! My definite favorite place to order food from!! Thank you guys keep it up! Ur awesome

Food is amazing!!! This is one of the best fish and chips I had, I literally just ordered the same today, but not able to comment as my app is playing up, but wanted to say that today I asked for more tartar sauce and it was topped up, thank u guys!! Ur food is delicious and that iced frappe is literally my go to now. Also the ham and cheese toastie was great , all food was hot and looked presentable!! One of the best cafes I eaten in a while in south east

If the bacon is fried then it’s perfect!! Oven cooked bacon has a slight rubbery texture... other then that no faults Thank you
