Temple Lane Dundee in Dundee City

One of my all time favourite spots in Dundee! I love the cafe vibes during the day, the coffee & pastries are AMAZING. At night, it’s the best place in Dundee for cocktails.

I love the cocktails at Temple Lane! However, it’s also become one of my favourite cafe spots during the day. Ideally, so close to uni so I love to come study here and treat myself to their fab pastries too!

Delicious - please never get rid of the chocolate custard muffins!!! Great spot to chill and read with a cuppa in the afternoon.

We popped in after eating next door on a Sunday night. The girl behind bar was friendly. The place did have a smell when we walked in not sure what it was. The toilets were clean. Obviously there was no amphoshere as no one was in. Defo don’t think we will return.

Temple Lane is always a great night out! Clean venue, nice drinks, and the lady behind the bar is always so polite and friendly.

In with voucher for cocktails, staff couldn't be bothered to say hello 3 behind bar, two busy one chatting! Eventually asked to be served. No seating area covered in coats as at bar for lesson. Had to ask customers to move coats so could sit. Won't be returning

Been here 5/6 times since it opened and never had a bad time - drinks are reasonably priced and the menu is updated consistently with specials for themed nights too. Decor is nice and modern too! Will definitely be returning again and again

Welcome addition to Dundee’s night scene, brilliant atmosphere and best cocktails ever.

My favourite bar in Dundee. Much needed upgrade to the cocktail menu, delicious and well-priced. Would really recommend for date nights or renting out the upper level for bigger parties!

Amazing venue, and delicious drinks!

Such a shame this has been taken over by Dean Banks. Yes foot flow and peoples habits have changed since Covid but the original Tom’s was great and then OK when taken over by the guys from Session St but now a Dean Banks venture, such a disappointment.

The service by the bartender was good, he was very nice and chatty, although the Menus were ripped in half and it was quite poorly displayed, I would invest in better menu books, the bathrooms were very crammed in the ladies, there was no one in the cocktail bar, the music they play is quite okay very new music, the view isn’t that good from the window, the seats are okay they feel quite cheap and look it, 4 cocktails came to £35, which is normal although going to a place like that they would make more if they listed their cocktails for £7 or £6.50.

Went in here with my wife and another couple at about 1830 as one of our number was really keen on a cocktail. The place was empty apart from a pal of the barman standing having a coke at the end of the bar. Half the cocktails on the menu were unavailable and crucially for me, no mojitos either. I asked for a cider instead and received a can of IPA which had been half poured. By which time all the life had been drained out of me and I couldn't be bothered complaining and just couldn't wait to leave. Really quite disappointing.

Nice wee find as we walked around Dundee. Had a nice couple of cocktails including the frozen apple slush - which just didn’t taste alcoholic.

Friendly service and lovely surroundings

Attended for a private event, where we had the venue to ourselves. There was just one bartender and he was absolutely brilliant - didn't get stressed, worked at an unreal pace bashing out cocktails in seconds, and was great! Loved the cocktails, very cheap, and a great environment too :) Highly recommend!

Great atmosphere, great music, great drinks for the price!

Popped in here and had a wee cheeky Long Island Iced Tea, staff were lovely and happy to answer my questions about some of the drinks they offer (coconut tequila) lovely bar, beautiful decor,

Great wee cocktail bar, nice variety of cocktails, lacks a little bit with other well known drinks not being offered but good atmosphere and lovely staff!

Venom did not taste like venom. Slushes were like water. Nice atmosphere though.

Ordered a few cocktails through Zippy D: they were absolutely delicious! Definitely recommend.
