Excellent small tea shop with proper leaf Earl Grey tea and china teapots! Delightful cake selection too. Recommended to round off your trip to Clare.

Enjoyed a really good cup of tea at the ‘sharing’ table and made the acquaintance of a lovely couple, also on the table. It was out third visit and we will definitely return!

My son and I had a lovely stop at this gem of a tearoom. You get the warmest of welcomes. It is so pretty inside, cakes are delicious! We had the bakewell cake today and it was so good! Will be returning for sure.

What a beautiful little tea establishment not far from Clare Castle Country Park/Clare Priory. We stopped off for a drink and just fell in love with this quaint little tearoom! The decor is absolutely adorable - with high attention to detail - lovely clear menu, cute China salt and pepper shakers and even a handheld fan on the table should you feel warm! The owner was extremely friendly and attentive and was happy to chat about the area and made you feel very welcoming. We only ordered drinks as we hadn't long had breakfast, but those handmade cakes (all made by the owner) looked incredible - I will have to return just to try a slice out! We ordered a pot of tea and a latte - both were lovely and would definitely return when visiting Clare again. Thank you for making our day trip so wonderful. We loved our short visit at Tea At Number Five.

What a gem. Great food, lovely staff, and good value. Can also buy store cupboard and cleaning items at good prices. Also there is parking in front.

The best and cutest tea spot in Suffolk! The staff is amazing (especially Daga) and they really make you feel at home. The food is delicious, specifically the coronation chicken sandwich! Peter and hi

Disappointing meal where previously it has been excellent - chicken overcooked, bordering on burnt, and roll was like elastic and difficult to bite through without squashing the whole burger and every
